Chereads / I BECAME THE VILLAIN OF A NOVEL / Chapter 8 - GOF dormitory.

Chapter 8 - GOF dormitory.

In the castle-like building of the Greenhorn Omega Female Dormitory; also known as GOF by the students. In total, there are about fifteen floors; with each floor having ten rooms; and each room having two separate single beds with one bathroom as two students live in it as roommates. And the only students that could enter the structure openly are students who are recorded as an undifferentiated female omega.

At the present moment, many undifferentiated female omega students lined up as they entered the tall structure. Everyone is busy settling their things inside their cabinet, and only two undifferentiated female omega have the time to wander the place.

Standing in front of the huge wooden board; her ocean blue eyes moved from left to right; searching for a certain name on the board, where students of the admitted undifferentiated female omega are all listed in an organised alphabetical order.

"Why is her name not here?" Kendra said, squinting the lids of her eyes suspiciously.

"Kendra, you have already read the boarding list three times, maybe that friend that you're looking for isn't here in the first place," said the girl beside Kendra.

Kendra casted a glance at the person beside her. The girl had long brunette hair, light green eyes, and a 5 feet 2 inches tall petite body, dressed in an ankle-length green gown. The girl beside her is Faye Truman. Before returning to the past, Faye was one of her true loyal faithful friends. Faye never abandoned Kendra; Faye always protected her from Nasrin, and that's how Faye ended up dying young.

Kendra shook her head firmly at Faye as she turned to the board with squinted eyes. "No, I'm sure that the person I'm searching for is also here…"

"But you have already read the list three times, and yet you still can't get a glimpse of her name on the boarding list, then doesn't that mean she wasn't put here in the first place?" Faye replied reasonably.

Kendra furrowed her brows but didn't respond.

Hearing what her friend said, Kendra also thought the same, but for some reason, Kendra refused to believe that she couldn't find that person's name on the list.

"If you insist on finding her then I suggest that we go to the Department of Information and Security. Let's ask them your friend's whereabouts," Faye suggested thoughtfully.

Kendra glanced at her friend and smiled. Faye was still Faye; Clever and supportive.

Faye shrugs as she stares at Kendra. "I think we would have more chances of finding her name there instead of repeatedly searching her name here, what do you think?" Faye inquired with a bright smile.

Kendra looked up and noticed that the sun was already down. "Hmm, you're right, I'll look into it tomorrow," she said with a calm sigh of resignation.

"Can I accompany you?" Fayed said curiously.

Kendra smiled as she nodded at her friend and said, "of course."

Faye smiled brightly and hooked her arms with Kendra. "Great, good friends should look out for each other," Faye mumbled, grinning from ear to ear.

Kendra smiled softly. "Let's go back to our room."

Afterwards, Kendra and Faye return to their room on the last floor of the building; their room number is GOF-D:0515; located in room five on the fifteenth floor.

As the two return to their room, Faye went to take a bath, while Kendra stood outside on the small balcony of their room.

Staring at the dim sky, Kendra can't help but recall those memories before she returned to the past.

Before Faye died, Faye also said the same phrase that Faye just now said. Good friends should look out for each other, is what Faye said to her at that time within Faye's last breath.

Now that she had returned to the past; Kendra made it her goal to protect everyone important to her. Kendra will absolutely not let them die again for her sake. However, there is a little problem, and that problem is it appears that Nasrin had also returned to the past like her.

It was Kendra's only conclusion after their little interaction on the registration lane. Not to mention that Nasrin was supposed to become her roommate in the GOF dormitory, and yet when Kendra was put in her assigned room, the roommate that welcomed her was Faye Truman.

Kendra had no qualms of having Faye as her new roommate, and she was actually quite happy that Faye became her new roommate instead.

It was because she thought Nasrin only chose to change her room in the GOF dormitory. Kendra thought that she could easily find Nasrin since they are both omegas.

However, when Kendra went to look for Nasrin's name on the boarding list, Kendra discovered that Nasrin wasn't even on the list to begin with.

What's more, as far as Kendra can remember, students can't ask to change their room no matter who they are. Every student of this academy was treated equally, and that's why the academy won't allow special treatments.

Now that she remembers it; during her academy life before returning to the past, Nasrin also tried to change her room, because Nasrin at that time was disgusted by Kendra's commoner status. But the academy never complied with Nasrin's wishes, and that is when Nasrin started bullying and harassing Kendra; both in private and in public.

So now Kendra was left confused. [Where could Nasrin possibly go if not here in GOF?]

Kendra is sure that Nasrin got enrolled as a student in Mystic Academy. After all, Kendra saw Nasrin's name on the list of the accepted freshmen students; it's a separate list for all new students, and Kendra definitely saw Nasrin's name on the list.

It's just that…

Nasrin's name was not on the boarding list of the greenhorn omega female dormitory. It left Kendra baffled. If Nasrin isn't here in the GOF dormitory, then where else could she go?

As far as she can remember, Nasrin will become a powerful omega in the near future. In Kendra's memories, she and Nasrin both became S-Level Omega, and this is the reason why the academy put her together with Nasrin.

After their little interaction during the registration at the academy, Kendra was looking forward to meeting Nasrin again as her roommate. Her plan was to probe Nasrin's secret, and use that secret to her advantage to finish off Nasrin, or maybe use Nasrin to her benefit. Whatever the case, Kendra's plan was to make Nasrin's life a living hell; all of those sinful unforgivable things; Kendra would return them a hundredfold.

Yet, it seems that Kendra needs to change her plan, since things slowly started to change from what happened in those memories. Nasrin didn't become her roommate, and what's more, Kendra doesn't know where in the world that strange Nasrin went.

Students were not allowed to leave the academy campus unless on summer vacation. Boarding a dorm outside or living outside the campus is prohibited. Which means that Nasrin is impossible to have lived outside the academy. It would result in expulsion.

So this only left Kendra perplexed by the sudden change of the situation. Kendra bit her lower lip as she faintly whispered to herself, "where the hell is Nasrin anyway?"

The door in the bathroom creaked open.

"Kendra, are you going to take a bath as well?" Faye asked absentmindedly as she stepped out of the bathroom, drying her brunette hair with a towel.

Kendra shook her head and said, "no, I'll take one later, once you're done, let's go to the dining hall before we end up missing supper."

"Alright then, anyway, I wonder what type of foods were served in the dining hall," Faye mumbled curiously as she started combing her hair.

"Probably vegetables, meat, soup, and rice," Kendra answered as she recalled those memories again. "Nothing special I guess," she added.

Faye pouted at Kendra and complained, "way to ruin my expectations."

Seeing the disappointment on Faye's face, Kendra then added again. "Don't worry, they're not luxurious but they still taste good," she said.

"You think so?" Faye probed, pouting.

Kendra nodded, smiling comfortingly. "Yes, so hurry before we end up missing dinner," she replied, shaking her head amusedly.

"Alright, I'm done," Faye said as she beckoned for Kendra. "Let's go."

At that, the two both quicken their pace as they walk to the dining hall of the GOF dormitory.
