My heart rate picked up as I stared at her swallowing hard I absently minded placed a hand on my belly
" What are you talking about Linda ?" I asked trying to act confused
" Your using the fact that your Alexander's girlfriend as an excuse here aren't you " I sighed of relief as I spoke in a calmer voice
" Look I am dating Alexander that's no secret -" before I could finish Mr Barker's voice filled the air he spoke in a cold and dangerous voice which sent shivers down my spine
" There's no need to answer her Charlie" I looked over Linda's shoulder to see Mr Barker standing hands crossed with a smirk on his face
Linda turned around slowly
" Mr Barker I'm sorry I -" he cut her off
" Your fired pack your things and leave now " I saw Linda flinch from the tone of his voice but she didn't reply she just controlled her sobs nodded and ran down the corridor
" You didn't have to do that " whilst waiting for his reply I felt the nausea take over my mouth
I raised a finger at him and ran to the bathroom not glancing to see if I ran in the women's or man's bathroom
I threw up the second my knees hit the tiled floor
Mr Barker came in and started rubbing circles on my back
I got up pushing him away I gurgled my mouth before wiping my wet lips with the back of my palm he looked at me in a worried look
" Mr Baker the women's -" he laughed
" This is the man's bathroom " my heart raced of embarassment as I jumped to the exit only for Mr Barker to grab my hand looking at me questionlyy
" Mr Barker can we talk ... In your office ?" He smiled nodding he let me walk out first before he walked out
I walked to his office as I sat in his office seat my back suddenly aching he walked in towards me where he knelt down pressing a quick kiss to my forehead before looking up at me in a worried glance
" What is it Charlie ?" He asked stroking my cheek with his thumb
I looked into his two tone eyes unsure how he will react to my pregnancy
Closing my eyes I regained my strength when I opened them I had determination
" I'm not sure how you gonna take this news but it still happens with or without your happiness about it " he raised an eyebrow at me his eyes darting to my eyes then lips
" And what is that ?" He asked
" Anthony ... I'm pregnant " I saw the light in his eyes get brighter as he smiled at me before crashing his lips onto mine his tongue tangling with mine
When he pulled back I gasped for air he leaned his forehead on mine staring into my eyes
" Of course im happy Charlie " I nodded
" But the problem is I'm not sure if you or Alexander are the father " his happiness flushed away as he stared at the floor he stood up and leaned his back onto his desk looking down at me he crossed his arms his black curly hair falling onto his forehead his plump lips in a straight line as he was concentrating on something
" I'll have a paternity test done before we leave to Hawaii once the results are in we'll get them " he said
" And we'll be in Hawaii to cope with the results?" I asked he nodded running his fingers through his hair

One week later
We landed in Hawaii about an hour ago
It took Mr Barker all his might to get be out of the hotel lobby people stared at my amusement by the islands beauty but I didn't care
He had book me in another room ... One that I wouldn't use in fact I'd be staying with him in his suite but he needed to have some proof incase Linda opened her mouth on how he fired her for me
We walked into our penthouse suite it was huge with an indoor pool four bedrooms a huge lounge , dining room and kitchen and five bathrooms along with a balcony so we could enjoy the view
after we had finished the tour I threw myself onto the king size bed
He chuckled as he undid his shirts buttons
" What do you think ?" He asked smiling at me
I bit my lower lip closing my eyes and just enjoying the peace that I had being feeling after a long time
" It's perfect " chuckling continuosly at me he walked to the bed sat down and pulled me onto his lap
I wrapped my legs around his waist pushing back his black hair from his face his two tones eyes met mine
His lips parted in anticipation as he stared at me
" What is it about Mr Barker ?" I asked looking into his eyes
He chuckled again his deep voice making it sound like a growl from a dangerous predator
" What do you mean ?" He asked
I pecked his lips quickly pulling back to look him in the eyes
He groaned at me his hands gripping my hips bunching the fabric of my thin summer dress
" There's just something about you that always draws me in " he nodded lifting his one hand his pushed my hair back
His leaned in his lips touched my neck leaving gentle marks all over I closed my eyes rocking against him
After a while when we both couldn't take it we pulled back and he said breathless
" Maybe it's love ?" I nodded unconsciously which made him smile
" When will we get the results ?" I asked pecking his lips again
" In about three days time according to the doctor " he then leaned in and kissed me on the lips
Pulling back he stared into my eyes stroking my cheek with his thumb
I looked down not quite meeting his gaze
" What's wrong ?" He asked staring at my face
" What would we do if it's your baby ?" I heard him sigh heavily
He then spoke in a low voice though his deep voice didn't make him sound soft and loving like a teddy bear he wanted to be for me
" Then I'll be the father I have to " I nodded not being reassured by his words
" Look Charlie ... I'm sure Alexander told you I wasn't the best father you could hope for ... But I've learnt from that lesson meeting you and loving you really changed my perspective on things"
" I know Mr Barker but I - how will we tell Alexander ?" I asked afraid of the future
" We don't know if that baby your carrying is my child or my grandchild so ... We just wait " nodding I rested my cheek on his chest afraid that one phone call would change my life

We spent the next three and a half days exploring the island , making love from the bed , jacuzzi , shower and the indoor pool
Mr Barker wasn't afraid to show his desire for me he'd kiss me in public hold hands with me and for a long time did I feel so free it was a feeling I never experienced in my life he was like the missing puzzle in my life ... And so was Alexander
I missed him terribly we agreed that we wouldn't call each other for my time in Hawaii so that when we see each other we'd appreciate our time together
I laid back onto the headboard still breathing heavy Mr Barker had gotten up and walked to the kitchen after a while be returned with nothing but a black jogger on his lean muscular body still sweaty
He placed a tray down besides me
It had a fruit salad and two forks along with two cups of orange juice
" What's this ?" I asked picking up a fork and dogging into the salad
" Breakfast since we were busy while everyone else had being eating I figured I'd make you something to eat
With the first bite I realised just how hungry I was
When Mr Barker's phone rang
Gulping as I saw it was the lab with the results
I felt my stomach flutter he nodded at me placing a hand on mine I felt his sweaty palms
He picked up the phone turning it to speaker he spoke
" Morning " in a business voice
The doctor chuckled
" Morning Anthony "
" What news is there ?" Mr Barker asked
" Well according to the DNA provided there was a Ninety nine point nine percent match " I took a deep breath in
And so did Mr Barker closing his eyes in the process
" Alright thank you Barnard " hanging up he pulled me in his arms
" What must I tell Alexander ?" I asked sobbing into his neck his hand rubbed circles around my back trying to calm me down
" Shush Charlie we'll figure it out ... I'm going to be a father once again ... With the woman I love " i cried louder
" What will my parents think the twenty five year age gap between us ... the fact that your Alexander's father ,Anthony !" He just pressed me tighter to him
" Hush my love " he said softly
Pulling back he looked me in the eyes
" We're gonna be parents , when we first messed around we promised never again and when we did we promised never again but then we couldn't stop touching , pleasing each other , understand me Charlie Phillips that baby is proof of our bond " nodding I wiped my tear stained cheeks
" Your right ... I ... I need some fresh air " getting off him I walked into the balcony letting the warm breeze of Hawaii hit my bare body
I wrapped my arms around my shoulders thinking of what Alexander might do the day I decide to tell him that my baby is his sibling
