As soon as I asked this question the room went silent. I stared in to Illya's eyes to try and ascertain any emotions or adverse reactions to this question. Even though Grandma did a soul check on her a couple of days ago the questions did not in depth and just gauged whether or not they had the desire to hurt or use me.
Before Illya could reply to my question I added something further.
"Before you answer let me tell you why I am asking such a question. First I want to see if your aspirations may cause adverse effects to my life in the future. Not meaning that you want to harm more along the lines of conflicting ideals. Second I would like to determine whether or not your ambitions are to grand or farfetched and simply unrealistic. Do you understand?"
Illya looked like she was pondering what she was going to say and after a few minutes she finally answered.
"Well to be honest I have no grand goals or desires what I really what to do is to become an author. I would also like to have at least one child but beyond these goals I simple want to be free of the pressures of my family."
"Well I think that is a fine goal to have. If you become my wife I would be more than happy to provide an environment. I can guarantee that marrying me would cut all ties from your family. You would become my family and by association part of the royal clan which means you will have that protection. As for having children that would come with due time. But I will still need you to hold a certain degree of strength for your own protection."
"Well the main reason I applied to the fiance candidate test was to get freedom from my family but I am not opposed to getting to know you and see what happens in the future."
"Good I agree these things cannot be forced so take you time and if being an author is something you wish to pursue right now I have some connections that can get you started if you have some works ready to go?"
As soon as I said this she gave me another look of bewilderment as if she had seen god himself before her. then she spoke.
"You mean I can be an author right now?!"
"That is what I mean, you see as one of my growth projects when I was a child I had to start a business in the human world. So I decided to start a publishing company. We specialize in manga light novels and move. So if you have some writing ready to go lets get it edited and published."
"W-what umm okay. I have a few stories I have written so far."
"Good send them to me. I will make a few calls and set things up for you."
I take out my phone and make a few calls. During this time Illya sends me her stories and I send them to the company to edited and published. I then send her a few things and finish my call.
"Alright that's taken care of. I've sent you names of a few artists that will turn your work work into manga along side the release of your novels so you will have to choose them. Also come up with your pen name for publishing."
I continue to ramble on a bout a few minor details related to her works not realizing that she has started crying tears of joy at the realization that all her dreams just came true and all in the span of a few minutes.
At this moment in time with out her realizing it she has become completely devoted to man sitting across from her. This man that she hasn't known for more than a week suddenly granted her biggest wish and changed her fate as a pawn of her family.
She slowly tries to calm herself down and finally decides to speak.
"Thank you so much. My dream my dream is coming true all because of you, so please allow me to do anything you wish I am eternally grateful to you."
"Two be honest Illya I have just given you an opportunity nothing more nothing less. Now its up to you to work and hard and make it a reality. I look forward to the day when I see your works on my shelves. Please do not disappoint me.
I decide that now is a good time to do some training so I get up and start to leave but just as I reach the door I leave Illya with a few words.
"Illya I truly hope you can achieve your dream. In return please become strong enough to support me in my dream in the future. As nothing is free in this world."
Finishing my words I finally leave and head to the training room.
