Galliard waved the guards in the prison block away as he stepped into the meeting room where he was to speak with the owner of the Q.R.C. He initially stopped at the door, taking in his environment before stepping forward to sit on a nearby chair.
"Must be hard, being in such a place, I can't imagine how you feel right now..."
"You know damn well I didn't call you here so we could have small talk, I would have spoken to the guard if that was what I wanted."
Galliard nodded and sat properly. "Fair enough. What is it you want?"
The caramel-haired man scoffed. "Really? Look around you, what do you think I want? Isn't there a way I could get out of this mess?"
"I mean," the member of the People started. "Miss Havishma showed and proved every piece of evidence she brought up to the People's table. Now unless you have ways to prove the said evidence wrong… you have nowhere to hide."
Damiano pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "I… well I can't say everything she brought up was false, but I can strongly say there is false information mixed with the truth… you have to find a way to get me out of here Galliard, you have to! You know you are nothing without me, you need me."
The member of the People's brow shifted up as he listened to Damiano. He pinched his jaw and hummed while leaning back on his chair. He was quiet for a few seconds before speaking. "Well, there is a way I could help you."
A smile appeared on Damiano's face. "Yeah?"
"There's no saving you because Havishma has already thrown you into the lion's den."
"But…"
"But I could try to convince the other People and reduce whatever damage you may get, all you have to do is agree to whatever question it is I ask you on that day."
The caramel-haired man nodded understandably. "Please, whatever you do, just make sure I do not lose my company, I do not care about my position as the Prime."
"You can trust me."
.
.
.
Prime Hall, The Realm.
Miss Havishma stepped out of her space car and strode into the Prime Hall. As she did, she locked eyes with Madeline Gurley who had also exited her car.
She averted her eyes from the head of ARCHER and continued into the Prime Hall. Miss Havishma had a lot going through her head at the moment but she continued forward. She made herself blur out every other problem and focused on the Prime meeting.
The pale-skinned woman took her seat as the People and the others involved in the meeting including Madeline and Scarlett arrived.
Once they were all seated, a member of the people leaned forward and cleared his throat. "Please, bring him in, let's begin."
The door opened and three agents of the Primal Q walked behind Damiano Silverr as he entered the hall. The caramel-haired man still had his expensive suit on and moved majestically as he stepped into the room. He cast a side-long look at Miss Havishma and Madeline Gurley before sitting on a chair in the middle of the room.
"Without wasting any time…" Galliard started. "… And as the host of this meeting, I'll go ahead and ask this: Damiano Silverr, do you assert to all this evidence presented before you?"
A hologram of the evidence Miss Havishma gave Madeline appeared in front of the caramel-haired man. The image continued to change from one to another, displaying different information, from an Electronic document of agreements between the accused and the head of UNEAD from Earth, to recorded videos of the spies that infiltrated the planet walking out of a Quantum Realm Corp's ship that just arrived from another planet.
"I do," he stated.
Galliard nodded and leaned back on his seat, whispering something to the other members of the People. They finished and the puffy man turned back to Damiano. "In accordance with the 1000 law of order, Damiano Silverr, you have been stripped of your post as the Prime of Winter Weir, and all your possessions, including every share owned by the Quantum Realm Corp, will be seized. I hope you reflect on your actions when you sit and rot in the dark pit."
The caramel-haired man jolted forward and his eyes widened in shock as he looked at Galliard who avoided his stare. He sunk into his chair, his heart racing heavily as he thought back to his conversation with the puffy man.
Damiano chuckled before shifting his eyes to look at Miss Havishma who sat quietly and held an indifferent look on her face. He tried to speak but couldn't make out any word so he groaned and launched himself at Galliard, but the Primal Q agents moved quickly and stopped him before he got any closer.
"Take him away."
The agents dragged him out of the hall.
"Why don't we take a few minutes to recuperate before proceeding," a member of the People suggested.
They all agreed and one by one they walked out of the Prime Hall. Miss Havishma made her way to the roof of the Prime building. She rests her hand on the balcony and lets out a deep breath.
"Miss Havishma," a voice called out from behind.
The pale-skinned woman veered around to see Emerald Klay standing in front of her with two plastic cups in her hand. "Hot chocolate?"
"Oh, why, thank you," Miss Havishma smiled and took the cup from her. "Emerald, right?"
The black-haired lady nodded before inching closer to stand by Miss Havishma's side. She moved her cup to her lips and took a sip then cleared her throat.
"I have one question I want to ask."
Miss Havishma hummed and looked at her watch. "Just one? Then go ahead."
"Why are you doing this?"
The Chief of Department H stopped just as the cup she was holding was only inches away from reaching her mouth. "What?"
"How far must you go before you are satisfied? Must you destroy everything before you'll call it done?"
The smile on Havishma's face faded away. She dropped the cup she was holding on the railings and fixed her oversuit.
"I don't know how you did it, but I'm sure you fabricated the evidence you brought up."
"You said you had one question to ask, yet you are asking three," said Havishma. "Why don't you stick to your aspect of duty and stay away from politics? You seem like a smart lady so I'm sure you'll heed my advice."
Havishma reached for the door but stopped, turning back to face Emerald. "The answer to your first question; I didn't like the world the way it was, so I intend to shape it into how I want it to be, a world where every living soul will live in peace and have opportunities… enough help to do and be whatever it is they want to be. Thank you for the drink," she added before walking away.
Emerald looked at the cup on the railing and then at the door which Miss Havishma just walked out through.
A few minutes later, the People and others returned to the hall to continue the meeting.
"Without further ado, Miss Havishma, please bring in the criminal."
The dark-haired woman clicked on her watch and it only took a few seconds before a squad of Red agents entered the hall with Storm 01 cuffed in front of them.
Emerald gritted her teeth and clenched her fist as she watched the agents ushered him to the middle of the room.
