( Standoff HGH Prison )
August sat, legs crossed on a chair in his Prison cell, scrolling through the pages of a book. He let out a soft laugh as he read its content.
A loud gunshot filled the air, making the green-haired man close the book shut. He set the book on his bed and strolled toward the door of the prison cell. The gunshot and screams drew closer to the cells, causing the prisoners in the block to start pitching loud noises.
The gunshots eventually halted and everywhere went silent, and then suddenly, the doors of all the cell blocks slid open, giving way for the prisoners to charge out.
Chántel, Rusty, and Helga emerged from the crowd and stand in front of August with their weapons in hand. "Hello buddy, we've surely missed you," Helga said with a wide smile on her face.
August smiled back. "As much as I'd love a big ol' reunion right now, there's something I need to take care of." August had a different look on his face. He was more lively and he smiled more than he did before the arrival of the other ONLINE members.
He took off his shirt and extended his hands to Rusty who grinned wickedly. "I can already tell what it is you want to do from that look on your face." Rusty take out a pistol from his belt and extended it to August.
[Guys, we ain't got all day, reinforcement is already past the first wall and will be at your position any second. You need to take the west gate] Uyi said through the communication device.
The Standoff HGH prison is a three-walled building. The main Prison yard is located in the center behind three large walls.
August takes out a dagger from beneath the pillow on his bed. "I'll meet you guys on the ship." He glanced at Chántel and smiled before making his way through the crowd.
He walked past a few doors and finally into a room that looks like the kitchen. The moment he stepped into the room, he blast a bullet through the head of the server who served him earlier during his lunch. He turned to Federick and aimed his gun at his head.
"Please spare me, I swear I never had anything towards you. I even gave you more food than we were supposed to…" Before the young man could complete his sentence, August put a trigger through his chest.
The light green-eyed man raised his head to look at the other server in the room before turning out of the place and began towards the west gate where he agreed to meet his partners.
"August, my dear friend!" August stopped in his track as a familiar voice yelled. He veered around to face Reyes and his companions.
"You weren't planning to take off without saying goodbye to your best friend…" Reyes' words trailed off as his eyes caught the gun and dagger in August's hand.
"You know," he started, with a slight crack in his voice. "I thought you'd feel too good to escape, turns out you are just like the rest of us." Reyes made an effort to reach for a weapon in his back belt but the light green-eyed man shot him in his thigh.
The bald man crashed on the ground, gripping his thigh and groaning in pain. His companions tried to take their weapons but August put them down without hesitation. He towered over the bald man who cringed back in fear.
The green-haired man knelt in front of Reyes and pierced the dagger into his wound, causing him to scream even more. He twist the dagger in until the leg and ground below the leg were all covered in blood before he pulled it out, letting his prey draw a few breaths.
"Pl-please, spare me… please don't kill m-me… please!" He pleaded, forcing tears to drop down his cheeks.
As August gazed at Reyes, he thought back to all the times he was in the same position as the bald man, pleading for him to let him go. August still doesn't know how he got on the bad side of the people in the prison. He looked up at the sunny sky and sighed as if contemplating the idea of sparing Reyes' life.
The light green-eyed man dropped his head to look at Reyes. "Answer me this Reyes," he started. "Why did you make me your target?"
"I--I--I didn't…" August drove the blade into his abdomen, causing Reyes to screech out loud.
"Is it perhaps because you saw me as a threat?"
Reyes drew a few sharp breaths before breaking into a frown. "Fuck you!" He swing his right hand which he had been hiding behind his back at August.
A knife that was wrapped under Reyes' fingers plunged into the green-haired man's shoulder. August jolts in pain. He raised his gun at Reyes' head but the bald man was quick to react. He quickly knocked the gun out of August's hand and pulled out the knife, now thrusting it at the chest of his target.
August stopped the attack with his left hand and threw a heavy right punch at Reyes's jaw, sending him to the ground. The green-haired man reached for his gun and without wasting any more time, something he should have done to avoid the predicament, he shoots Reyes thrice in the chest.
He dropped the gun and pulled out the dagger from his shoulder. August winced before laying on the hot ground. Unlike Winter Weir, it was currently summer in Tzeria and the light green-eyed man could tell it was exceptionally hot that day as a drop of sweat rolled down his pointed ears. He tore a piece of his shirt and wrapped it around the injury in his shoulder.
Gunshots and the screams of rioting prisoners drew near. August quickly took off in the direction he was to meet his friends.
The ONLINE team arrived at the area where they left their ship only to find it gone. "What the hell is going on?" Rusty roared. He turned to face Chántel with his hands outstretched. "Are you seeing this?"
"I am," she replied. "Uyi? Uyi do you read me?" Chántel said into the communication device but no response.
"I think someone just clicked start on a very nasty game, one I am sure I won't enjoy playing," the brown-haired lady stated. They all stood, staring at the empty land where they last saw their ship.
Chántel picked up a mobile communication device used for pre-recording messages. She wiped the dust off and clicked on a button and the message began playing, drawing the attention of her squad members.
"I am sure by now you've noticed what situation you're in. But don't panic, this is just a friendly invitation to the Royal palace of Tzeria."
Chántel slipped the device into her pocket and sighed before turning to face the others. "Looks like we've got a premium invitation into the palace."
