Chapter 36 - Chapter 35

It was all quiet in the throne room. The Fiver Seraphs were seated on ornate chairs as the Titans were also on their thrones. There is also a large table in front of the Seraphs with various food on it as the Angels tasted some of it as they noted that it tasted pretty good.

Gabriel was looking at the architecture alongside the other archangels and was impressed by it. Gaia had seen their reaction and was happy that it wasn't negative as she didn't want Five angry Seraphs, especially since her son had attacked Heaven.

"Well, thank you for letting us meet here." Raphael said in his usual serious tone.

"It is our pleasure to have you here." Prometheus said immediately as he stepped forward.

It was decided beforehand by the Titans and Gaia that Prometheus would be the one doing the pleasantries since he was by far one of the smartest of the Titans. Selene was also a bit at ease as she knew the Titan is quite smart and cunning and so he wouldn't accidentally insult any of them like the other Titans mostly would.

They were the strongest in their pantheon sure, but compared to that experience and skill that Zadkiel and the other five Seraphs have are much greater than the ones possessed by the Titans. God had made sure to provide his angels with the means to train themselves and the Seraphs were also quite diligent as they made sure to train as well to further refine their skills.

"Now, let us get straight to the matter at hand and start the negotiations shall we?" Michael said with his usual smile.

"Yes, shall we my Lord?" Prometheus said as he looked at his King.

"We may." Kronos said as he tried to keep his kingly visage.

'This is the first time I'm seeing Kronos not speaking arrogantly.' Rhea and her sisters thought to themselves as they saw his way of speaking.

Rhea looked at the angels and wondered who it was that managed to make her arrogant husband act the way he is right now. Meanwhile Selene, Nike and Hecate who were also present gulped a bit as they released a small sigh thanking Chaos for the fact that Kronos was not talking to the angels arrogantly. They didn't want a repeat of the thing's that happened in the battlefield.

And many of the Titans who had survived the war also thought this as they looked at Zadkiel fearfully. But of course, considering their size Rhea and the other female Titans were unable to know who it was that the Titans were so afraid of.

"Then I shall take the lead here." Raphael said as he stood up from his seat.

He then rose into the air and looked at the king of Titans seriously as the place became quiet.

"The army of Kronos had tried to invade Heaven not too long ago but as you all already know, you were repelled by our army. However, we have to make sure that attacks of such nature are not used against Heaven in the future. As such, we would like to negotiate some terms of agreement that would ensure that your pantheon won't do anything against Heaven." Raphael said seriously in an authoritative tone as he looked at Kronos with narrowed eyes.

Kronos was of course angry at the angel for talking with such a tone but he held his tongue due to the fact that Zadkiel is also there and the fact that he doesn't know how strong Raphael himself is.

"What are the terms?" Oceanus asked him seriously.

Oceanus may not have supported Kronos' rule but as a member of the pantheon it also affects him indirectly so he has to make sure that the agreements are fine. Another reason was because Gaia had asked him to come and he wasn't going to deny a request from his mother.

The other occupants looked at the scene in front of them anxiously as they hoped that the relationship between both pantheons wouldn't go from bad to worse.

"There are only three simple ones. First, like I had said before, your pantheon will not attack Heaven in any way or form. Second, if any member of your pantheon have been discovered to have attacked Heaven or indirectly helped in it then you must surrender them to Heaven. Third, you must give to us at the very least three things that are valuable to your pantheon as an insurance." Raphael said to them not breaking his gaze or serious tone.

The Titans murmured amongst themselves when they heard that but the Angels were able to hear them.

"It's not a bad deal your highness." Prometheus said to Kronos.

"I agree son, amongst other things, they're letting us off easy." Gaia said to him as well.

"Brother, agree to it. Those are good terms." Oceanus said to Kronos.

Kronos also knew that what they were saying is true as those are something that they can do. But he was still stuck on the third one, they had to give Heaven 3 valuable things from their pantheons which is troubling him.

"Also, it has to be something that cannot be replicated, which means weapons that were created by the Cyclops or the sort won't be sufficient." Raphael added to them as the murmurs intensified.

Kronos thought about what to give, obviously he can't give his scythe since it's too valuable to him and he didn't want to give Heaven any of their valuable items which they can use to their advantage.

'What should I do?' Kronos thought to himself as he looked around the room.

Then his eyes landed on Selene who was standing a few metres away from the Seraphs, then at Hecate who was sitting amongst the Titans and Nike who was sitting on an elevated platform as they looked at the proceedings as his eyes widened.

'That could work. Titans are the one things that we can't replicate.' Kronos thought to himself as he looked at the Seraphs.

"If that is the case then I have 3 things that I can give you." Kronos said to him with a smile.

"Good. What are they?" Raphael asked as he looked at the Titan King alongside the other members of the room.

"I would like to give you The titaness' Selene, Hecate and Nike." Kronos said causing silence to reign on the room.

"WHAT!?" All the Titans shouted in shock, with the most prominent being the three women who were mentioned.

"My lord?" Prometheus asked shocked.

"Let me finsih. We have a lot of items here which can be replicated by our powers, the only things that we can't control is the birth of Titans. But I'm not just giving them as a possession, I was thinking that maybe we could, deepen the bonds between our pantheons through a marriage between important members of our pantheons." Kronos said to them seriously.

The Titans and Angels were surprised at the man's word's as Gaia was also surprised at his words. The three aforementioned women though kept silent not wanting to anger their King and face his wrath.

"Let's say that our Father does give you permission, who do you want them to marry?" Raphael asked him.

"Isn't it obvious? The angel Zadkiel of course. He is the one who had beaten my army and we Titans respect strength so it thinks it is an optimal choice. Selene is the Titaness of the Moon, Nike is the Titaness of Victory and Hecate is the Titaness of Magic. All of them are valuable members of our pantheon and so they fit the criteria that you had mentioned." Kronos said to him without changing his face or tone.

Raphael looked at the other Seraphs as they looked at him. They glanced at each other before Michael whispered something to them as they nodded. He then stood up catching the attention of the others.

"Let me just ask Father before this." Michael said to them as Kronos nodded.

Then Michael flew away as a ball of light as he got out of the palace.

"Son, are you sure about this?" Gaia asked him as she looked at him.

"Yes mother, this is the most optimal option. Besides, the angel Zadkiel won't do anything to the three of them unless they give him a reason to attack them and I don't think they are brave enough to actually anger him." Kronos said to his mother.

"Hmm, that does fit his personality. As long as they don't get hurt." Gaia said as she looked at the Angels.

Soon Michael came back again and he materialized from the ball of light in front of the others as he looked at them.

"Father has given us permission for it. He has said that he doesn't mind it and would be happy to deepen the relationship between both pantheons as it will benefit both of us." Michael said to them as he relayed what he was told as Zadkiel looked at him.

'So this is what Father meant.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he looked at his brother.

"Then we have come to an agreement yes?" Kronos asked Raphael who looked at the King.

"It looks like we have." Raphael said to him with a nod.

'Well, I guess I have some interesting news to tell Lilith now.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he looked at the three women that he would be marrying.
