Jason stares out into the distance, while Felicia, Harvey, and Mark watch him closely. The three of them look at each other, before Felicia soon approaches him.
"Hey...you ok?" Felicia asks.
Jason doesn't respond, just continues to stare off into the distance, thinking about what Markus said.
"Jason?" Felicia says.
Jason finally snaps out of it, but doesn't look at Felicia, Harvey, or Mark.
"I'm fine." Jason says, walking out of the room.
When Jason leaves, Mark leans over to Harvey.
"Markus talked to him before I took the shot." Mark says.
"What did he say?" Harvey asks.
"Judging by his reaction... I think he knows."Mark says.
"We don't know that." Felicia chimes in.
"We can't take the risk. If he knows, he'll come after us and that will be bad. Very bad." Mark says.
Harvey thinks for a moment, considering every possible outcome.
"Send a team out. I want this done fast and quietly. If he catches any hint of what's going on, he'll be ready." Harvey says.
Mark nods and walks away while Felicia has a guilty expression on her face.
Later on, Jason is in the shower as Markus's words echo through his mind. He then gets flashes to one year ago, a moment between the two of them. Jason is carrying an injured Markus to the doc, trying to get on a boat. As Jason puts Markus in the boat, he hears multiple men with guns heading their way.
"Hey, listen to me. You need to get out of here." Jason tells him.
Markus is stunned when he hears this.
"No- No, not without you." Markus replies.
"If you stay here, you die. You're loosing too much blood. You have to get out of here." Jason says.
Markus grabs him by the arm.
"And what am I supposed to tell Marisa and Isabella, huh?"
Jason sighs, holding back tears and smiling through the pain.
"You tell them...That I loved them, with all of my heart. And that I'm sorry for not coming home this time." Jason says.
As Markus is overwhelmed by emotion, Jason shoots a mercenary coming from the woods.
"You gotta go, now!" Jason yells.
Markus hesitates for a moment, before riding off in the boat as more Mercenaries come from the woods. Jason quickly shoots ten men at a time, but starts getting overwhelmed and filled with bullets. Soon he drops to knees and Harvey, Felicia, and Mark slowly approaches him. Felicia looks conflicted by this but Mark smirks, while Harvey looks angry and aims his gun at his head from a distance.
"Such a waste." Harvey says before pulling the trigger.
Jason soon snaps out of it, shocked by what he just saw. He quickly gets out of the shower, puts on his clothes and goes to his room. Jason starts packing up everything he needs, looking up the street in Huston Texas that Markus told him. At that moment,he hears something downstairs and grabs his gun with a silencer.
Downstairs, there's multiple mercenaries walking around the house with their guns drawn, ready to kill. As they search for Jason, he comes from around the corner and shoots one of them in the head. He then grabs a second guy's gun and shoots him in the stomach, chest, then in the face. Two mercenaries come around the corner, but gets shot in the head before they could even blink.
As Jason slowly walks through the house, a mercenary slowly turns the corner, unaware of Jason's presents. Jason kicks the gun out of his hand, wraps his arm around his neck and squeezes tightly, snapping his neck. Another mercenary appears behind him, taking aim at the back of his head.
Before he can shoot, Jason quickly turns around and shoots him right between the eyes.
As all the mercenaries are on the ground, dead, this confirms that what Markus told Jason is true. Soon a phone starts to ring. He looks through the bodies, finally finding the phone with an unknown number calling. He answers it and hears a familiar voice.
"Is it done?" Harvey asks from the other end.
Jason doesn't answer, angered by everything that he's learned.
"Grant? Are you there? Is the target-"
"You tried to have me killed." Jason finally says.
Harvey's eyes widen when he hears Jason's voice.
"Jason. Look, I can explain. Just come back to the base and we'll talk."
Jason stays silent for a second time.
"You lied to me. Used me. Took my life away from me... I'm only gonna say this once. Leave me alone, or else I will burn everything around you." Jason says, hanging up the phone.
Harvey sits in silence, while Mark and Felicia look at him with worried looks on their faces.
"Get another team. A bigger one this time. I know where he's going." Harvey says, leaving the room.
Mark goes to make a call, while Felicia sighs and stares out of the window.
"God help us." She says to herself.
Three days after that night, Jason stands in a graveyard in Huston Texas, staring at his headstone, still unable to believe that he was being lied to for all this time. He then looks at the address Markus gave him on his phone, seeing that the address is close to where he is now.
After an hour long drive, Jason arrives at a light blue house. At that moment, memories of Jason building the house along with Markus, Jessica, and other people that are unfamiliar to him. He slowly approaches the door and knocks, but no one answers. A memory of a key being under the welcome mat. He gets the key and unlocks the door, slowly walking inside the house.
"Hello?" He says, trying to get an answer.
He soon sees pictures of the same little girl and the beautiful woman he's been seeing through his memories. Jason then looks through the mail, seeing multiple checks sent from Harvey, untouched. Meanwhile, without him noticing, a car pulls up to the house.
Jason walks upstairs into a bedroom, seeing a picture on the nightstand. He slowly approaches the photo, picking it up and seeing himself along with the woman and little girl. Jason flips on the light and sees all kinds of pictures of himself, the woman, the little girl, and himself with Harvey, Felicia, Markus, and Mark. As Jason is overwhelmed by all of this, he hears a loaded gun behind him.
"Put it down and get out, now. If you're looking for money, you won't find any here." The woman from the pictures says, aiming a gun at the back of his head.
Jason slowly puts the photo down, trying to keep his composure.
"I don't want your money." Jason says
The woman notices how familiar Jason's voice is.
"Listen... I'm going to turn around now." Jason says, slowly raising his hands up.
"Please don't move." She says, voice filled with panic.
"Please just... take a deep breath. I'm gonna turn around, ok? Please try to relax. Take your finger off the trigger, ok?" Jason says.
The woman soon slowly realizes who she's talking to.
"Is... that you?" She asks, tears forming in her eyes.
"Please just... take your finger off the trigger." Jason says.
He slowly turns around, revealing his face and shocking the woman.
"I think... we need to talk." Jason says.
