Helga and her army stood on the final road to Helstia. Ralph walked over to her feeling conflicted. On one hand, he still had an attraction to her, but after the brutal ceremony she put on he couldn't help but feel a slight repulsion. 'Father wants me to kill her?' Ignoring the fact Ketil was always by her side, Ralph wondered if he could even do it.
She was terrifying. The lack of pain she felt even when she was stabbed added to the inhumane pleasure she took in taking a life creating an air of terror. Even approaching her felt wrong to Ralph.
'Father, why did you give me this task?' Taking a deep breath he got the courage to approach. "Queen Helga." Subconsciously he spoke with respect as Helga faced him with a cold glare.
Ketil moved slightly, positioning himself within striking distance of Ralph. "What?"
