The three nobles left the banquet tactically but separately. They made sure to do it almost unnoticed to avoid unnecessary troubles. They could see all around them how their fellows had slowly begun to cling to every word spoken by Isra. Few remained skeptical of it but they were sure that with a few more reassurances and promises they would eventually be tricked. They all admitted to themselves that Isra was persuasive. The passion and respect she spoke with would strike deep with anyone who heard it.
Then including an enemy bigger than Alfred to secure the deal. It was a master stroke and an unexpected ability from her. When they were invited to the banquet they assumed it to be nothing special, with Isra only going to mingle with them and try to persuade them individually.
