From across the tavern, five men sat watching Alfred and his table. They saw Alfred rapidly becoming drunk, whilst William slowly reached the stage. They were wary of seeing Chris only drink water, but they knew that it meant it was an even better target. They watched as Alfred stumbled standing up and dropping a huge amount of Gold coins on the table before stumbling out. Everything aligned for it to be the perfect target for them tonight.
The three hiding their identities obviously meant they weren't meant to be there, how drunk one of them was and the amount of wealth they easily spent. With knowing looks the five nodded to each other and got up following. It was always their plan to come to places like this, one where nobles would sneak away. It had worked many times before and they were sure it would again.
