During the first round of recruitment when creating the Ammary Military the large incentives got many struggling men from the countryside to enlist hoping to have a steady wage without having to do the back-breaking labor of farming. They were perfect for him. Already having trained bodies from the labor they did, whilst easily adapting to the regimented lives of a soldier.
