Gunnar awoke next to the port, his hair and beard tips had been frozen by the elements but he sighed in relief at having been able to pass the night in peace. His sigh soon turned into laughter as he realized he managed to escape with vital information. Rushing to the butchers he had forgotten to return to the days previous, he gave a flimsy excuse and left the settlement as quickly as he could. He needed to tell Rolf of his discoveries and give the man hope; but more importantly, a reason to wait and play the long game.

Much like Gunnar, Brede was also in a good mood. The tasks he had been given by Sven were twofold and whilst keeping Frida safe was easy enough, finding people to turn off Helga was not. The lack of freedom he had been given had made it nigh impossible but having met Gunnar he knew it existed. The only problem was establishing communication with him.
