Just as Eren finished speaking, Asahi suddenly appeared once again, startling everyone. This time, he wasn't summoned, but came on his own. Since there were only a few who had seen Asahi before, his sudden appearance surprised the others.
"No need to panic. This gentleman here is... the God we've mentioned before. There's no need to be overly alarmed, everyone!"
Erwin directly spoke up to reassure the group, and then their attention shifted to Asahi, who is holding the scepter.
They had also heard of Asahi's existence.
But they haven't seen him before, so now that he suddenly appeared here, they couldn't help but be curious.
"My lord, do you have any business with us?"
Looking at Asahi in front of him, Erwin and the others asked. His appearance was indeed unexpected, but since Asahi came voluntarily this time, they felt that there must be a reason for it. After all, a God wouldn't just appear out of the blue.
"My purpose for coming here is quite simple. As I mentioned before, this is a game, and now that the game has progressed significantly and you've taken care of the situation within the island, it's only natural for me to give you some rewards."
"Eren and Ymir, the two of you have been affected by your ancestor, Ymir's curse, limiting your lifespan to a maximum of thirteen years. The reward I'll give you is... to remove this curse, so you won't be affected by the thirteen-year lifespan limit."
"As for the rest, I have the information on the leaders of other countries in this world that you need. Take this orb, all you need to do is place your hand on it, and you'll be able to see the information on those people."
"This is considered an interim reward. And the game will still continue. Of course, in addition to this, others will receive some rewards as well. The reward I'll give you is quite simple, enhanced defense. I've increased the defensive capabilities of your bodies."
"Even if you're hit by bullets, your defense won't be breached. Then, what you do next is up to you!"
Asahi distributed the rewards to the others. This could be seen as him enjoying the development of a story he wanted to see. Honestly, he found the original story a bit frustrating, so this time, he influenced everything from behind the scenes.
Providing some conveniences to everyone can be regarded as a reward for making him happy.
After distributing everything, Asahi departed once again. Although the others were eager to ask questions, Asahi's mysterious appearances left them with no further thoughts. Instead, they focused on the present.
"Originally, we were prepared for the worst, but now, with Lord God's appearance, we have nothing to worry about in the future."
Eren had some concerns initially and planned to leave some backup plans. However, it seemed unnecessary now. After all, once the power of the Titans was transferred to others, whether that successor would continue to assist the Eldians was a question. Or rather, whether they would help Mikasa and the others was a significant concern.
What Eren cares about is not the Eldians, but rather Mikasa and the others. After all, the survival of the Eldians provided space for Mikasa and the others to survive. Because of that, during his time left, he had planned to learn from the First King, influencing the memories of others or forcibly occupying their bodies.
This wasn't impossible, as consciousness could be transferred. For example, the soul of the ancestor Ymir has been lingering for two thousand years. Although this world seemed devoid of much mystery, once dissected, it revealed incredible things.
"Indeed, we have nothing to worry about now. But it seems the assassination squad can only be us now. Bullets won't kill us, and even the explosion from Titan transformation will have minimal effect on us. So, as long as we act together with you, we'll be an invincible assassination squad!"
Others echoed their sentiments. In conventional assassination attempts, their defense was impregnable, or rather, only they could harm themselves. Therefore, if an assassination attempt failed, they wouldn't be killed. And to avoid being captured, they could easily escape with Eren and Ymir.
Although there were technological advancements in this era, they weren't widespread. Technology has not yet developed to the point where surveillances are everywhere, so it will be too simple for them to escape when the time comes.
It is also very simple to assassinate these people. In fact, there is another option, which is not opting for assassination but merely intimidation. However, this wouldn't achieve the thoroughness of the former method.
After all, once a sufficient number of assassinations were completed, internal strife among their ranks would ensue
This would bring about considerable convenience, especially now that they had the necessary information. So now, their next plan is to control the Titans to encircle the entire island, then steal Marley's ships and leave the island.
"Now, what we need to do is... first, reveal everything to the public. Then, evacuate the residents around the walls, destroy all three walls directly, release the Colossal Titans, and control the regular Titans, forming two defensive lines to guard the entire Paradis Island!"
Now that there are no more worries, the next plan was set to begin.
After receiving everyone's agreement, the group quickly dispatched people to inform everyone of the plan.
Through the royal family's announcement, certain details were concealed, but the most crucial information was shared with everyone.
Once this news was released, the people within the walls were shocked. They hadn't imagined that the hidden truth in their history would be like this. Moreover, the towering walls they had taken pride in were actually formed by Colossal Titans.
The power of the Founding Titan was truly incredible and difficult to comprehend, as they could effortlessly create such walls.
This ability was probably akin to creation-type powers, otherwise, these Titans wouldn't have been able to enter the walls directly. It was likely that after all the Colossal Titans formed a circle, they hardened directly, creating something akin to stone.
While this world might not seem very advanced, there were things that surpassed human capabilities and thoughts, which was quite exaggerated.
After notifying everyone, the members of the Survey Corps began evacuating the people around the walls. After all, the collapse of the fifty-meter-high walls would have a significant impact.
In the original story, Eren's impromptu decision to enact this change led to many Eldians being crushed to death.
This caused a portion of the Eldians to harbor extreme resentment towards Eren. After all, although Eren had saved their lives, most people valued the lives of their loved ones more than their own race.
