As the overseer, Albedo noticed Sebas and Solution's return immediately. After seeing Albedo appeared, Sebas decisively gave up the idea of looking for items. After all, he had already been discovered.
"We discovered something very peculiar in the capital of this human kingdom, so we returned to report to Ainz-sama immediately!"
Sebas began to lie directly, but his tone did not arouse any suspicion in Albedo. Moreover, Albedo would never have expected that Sebas could betray them, so she directly led Sebas to meet Ainz.

"Albedo, calm down. Go and inform the other Floor Guardians that Sebas has become an enemy!" Ainz's face also looked grim. He had always believed his subordinates wouldn't turn against him, but it seemed he was wrong, as he could clearly see Sebas listed as an enemy right now.
Albedo, who initially wanted to deal with Sebas immediately, hesitated after Ainz's command. She casted a hateful glance at Sebas before leaving reluctantly. Now, there are only Solution's corpse, Ainz, and Sebas remained.
"Sebas, tell me, why did you betray me?"
Ainz suppressed his anger as he confronted Sebas.
"Ainz-sama, I am merely following orders. You have always been the supreme being in my heart, but my current master ordered me to attack you, so I must obey!"
Sebas's words made Ainz feel a strange sense of unease, because what Sebas said was a bit weird. On one hand, he swore his loyalty to Ainz, but on the other hand, he acknowledged another master.
Although Sebas had betrayed him, but it's not of his own volition. As for how he had been compelled to betray, Ainz didn't know. For now, Ainz had to subdue Sebas before anything else.
Unfortunately, while Ainz had many items, he did not carry any of the high-level cash shop items, as he hadn't prepared for such an unexpected betrayal by Sebas.
This is not a good thing for Ainz. But fortunately, Sebas's position is a butler, so he didn't have the powerful weapons and combat abilities like a floor guardian. Even so, a max-level being was still not to be underestimated.
Sebas excelled in close combat, whereas Ainz was an undead archmage. So currently, with them being in close combat, Ainz would not have much advantage. Nonetheless, Ainz still managed to lure Sebas towards the Colosseum.
Meanwhile, the floor guardians were stunned by Albedo's urgent message. Sebas's betrayal, happening so soon after his departure, was nearly incomprehensible. Adding to the shock was Solution's betrayal as well, which was equally astounding.
"Damn it, Sebas! You really betray Ainz-sama! How dare you!!!"
After entering the Colosseum and seeing Sebas who was fighting with Ainz, Shalltear immediately became enraged. After all, Shalltear had a preference for skeletal figures. Despite Ainz not altering her original settings, her inherent liking for bones naturally extended to Ainz himself.
Now, seeing Sebas attacking Ainz, Shalltear transformed into her Valkyrie form and swiftly took Ainz's place in the fight against Sebas. Ainz felt a wave of relief wash over him, as he had been overconfident just now.
These beings, all max-level entities, were formidable. Without the proper items or a well-crafted plan, Ainz couldn't fully handle these floor guardians.
This was the strength of endgame characters. Even max-level players using powerful items found it difficult to face multiple opponents at once. However, there is a World Item, which as long as it is used, would make the user strong without limit, making even a group of forty-one players no match for the user.
Such items were immensely terrifying. And there is a similarly high rank ring in Ainz's hand. This item is capable of altering certain aspects of the game—a rule-changing item.
However, since it is such an overpowered item, as it can be used to modify the rules, this thing is a consumable item, so Ainz will not dare to use it casually. He understood the value of saving powerful resources for critical moments.
Now that Shatia is here to fight against Sebas, Ainz could breathe easier. He swore that next time, he would carry all his items with him to avoid being caught in such a vulnerable position again.
On the other side, as other Floor Guardians arrived, they were visibly displeased. If it hadn't been because Shalltear had already been overpowering Sebas, they would have rushed forward themselves.
"In my understanding, Sebas shouldn't be the type to betray us. There must be something more to this!"
Demiurge's statement drew everyone's attention.
"That's right. I spoke with Sebas earlier, and he still showed me respect. But he mentioned having a master behind him. Sebas is being controlled. But it is unknown what method the enemy have used."
"But right now, there is no way to restore Sebas. The only option is to defeat him and then revive him!"
