Chapter 4: The First Day
Chen Feng stood outside the logistics company's warehouse, his heart racing with anticipation. Today was his first day.
Wang Xiaolong, who had accompanied him, patted Chen Feng's back. "You got this, buddy. Show them what you're made of."
Chen Feng nodded, took a deep breath, and stepped inside.
The warehouse hummed with activity. Workers scurried about, loading and unloading crates. Chen Feng spotted his supervisor, Manager Li, and approached him.
"Ah, Chen Feng! Welcome aboard," Manager Li said, eyeing Chen Feng's attire. "You're on the morning shift. Report to Team Leader Zhang."
Chen Feng nodded and made his way to the designated area.
Team Leader Zhang, a burly man with a no-nonsense attitude, briefed Chen Feng on his duties.
"Listen up, rookie! You're on crate-loading duty. Keep up, or you're out."
Chen Feng nodded, determined to prove himself.
As the day progressed, Chen Feng struggled to keep pace. His Body Hardening talent helped, but the relentless workload exhausted him.
Just when he thought he'd collapse, the system notification flashed:
_SYSTEM NOTIFICATION_
_ATTRIBUTE POINTS ALLOCATION_
_Endurance +5_
_Vitality +3_
Chen Feng's body responded, and his energy levels surged. He redoubled his efforts, impressing Team Leader Zhang.
"Not bad, rookie," Zhang said, nodding. "You might make it after all."
As the morning shift ended, Chen Feng felt a sense of accomplishment. He was doing it.
During lunch, Chen Feng sat with his coworkers, listening to their stories. They were all low-level talents, struggling to make ends meet.
One worker, an elderly man named Uncle Wang, caught Chen Feng's attention.
"You're new here, kid," Uncle Wang said, his eyes twinkling. "Be careful. This company's got secrets."
Chen Feng's curiosity piqued, he leaned in.
"What kind of secrets?"
Uncle Wang glanced around, ensuring no one listened.
"High-level talents get special treatment. They're working on something big. Don't know what, but it's not good."
Chen Feng's mind whirled. What could this mean?
As the afternoon shift began, Chen Feng's thoughts lingered on Uncle Wang's words.
Suddenly, a commotion erupted near the loading docks. A group of high-level talents arrived, accompanied by suited executives.
"Clear the area!" one executive barked. "Classified cargo incoming."
Chen Feng watched, intrigued, as the high-level talents began unloading crates marked with strange symbols.
The system notification flashed again:

Chen Feng's heart skipped a beat. This was his chance to uncover the truth.
