"Damn, that's a lot of bandits." Like seriously, that has to be at least 200.
"Fortunately, we prepared a lot of arrows." The Captain kicked open a chest, revealing it to be full of arrows.
"I never thought I'll feel so excited looking at an army of bandits." I took my new Imperial Bow.
"I feel the same here." The Captain laughed and took out his bow.
We stood on the top of the watchtower, the chest of arrows between us. The guards are all guarding the entrance of the watchtower, meaning the two of us are the only ones doing the damage.
"You ready?" The Captain asked, nocking an arrow.
"It feels wrong being this excited in killing people." I did the same.
"Start!"
~~~~~~~~~~
The bandit boss felt confident. He had wanted this watchtower for over a year, with two previous attempts all ending in failure. This time, he prepared 200 people. That's 10 times more than the previous two attempts.
"With this watchtower, I will block one of the most used merchant routes in Skyrim!" The bandit boss' eyes gleamed with money.
"Men, attack!" The bandit boss screamed.
Seeing his men charging with all their might, the boss shed a tear. The watchtower is definitely scared. They don't dare leave the entrance of the watchtower, and they only have two archers on top.
Bah! What can they do—!
~~~~~~~~~~
Seeing the boss they respected so much fall down with an arrow sticking out of his eye, the bandits are enraged.
With more fervor than before, they charged.
~~~~~~~~~~
"That's the boss. Eye shot." I pointed at the dead armored bandit in the back of the army.
"Damn, good shot." The Captain praised.
"But can you do this?" He nocked two arrows at the same time and fired. The two arrows hit the neck and chest of two bandits.
"Double shot." The Captain was smug.
I don't like it. That's so cool.
"Well how about this?" I nocked three arrows all at once. Aimbot still works, so I fired.
The three arrows hit the neck of three different bandits. They all fell over at the same time.
"Triple shot." Now I'm smug.
"Alright, you're better. I admit defeat." The Captain sighed.
"But are you fast enough?" He chuckled.
"Most kills in 10 seconds?"
"You're on!"
~~~~~~~~~~
He's just a bandit. A normal bandit. He chose this life since the pay is good and quick.
He followed a boss. This boss led them to great things. They even occupied an Imperial fortress. The boss took them to take a watchtower this time. The bandit thought it would be easy.
Oh how wrong he was.
In front of him, fellow bandits fell one by one. The archer at the top of the watchtower seemed to be machine as he fired one arrow after another.
The last thing he saw was his fellow bandit reaching out to him before he was engulfed by darkness.
~~~~~~~~~~
"That's 14. Can you beat that?" The Captain looked at the patch of dead bandits in the sea of bandits. That was all his kills in 10 seconds. He believed this Adam guy cannot beat that.
"Watch." The Captain watched the man grab two arrows and nocked them on the bow.
There's no way he's actually doing that. That has to be a joke.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Why did I come here?" He asked himself.
He only came for the money. A bandit boss was hiring people to help him take over a watchtower.
It was just a watchtower, how bad can it be?
He witnessed hell today.
In front of him, his fellow bandits fell two by two. Looks like the archer on top of the watchtower is shooting two arrows at once. And each one is hitting the head.
"I regret everythi—"
He only saw an arrow lodged in his throat before he died.
~~~~~~~~~~
"30 kills. Double of yours and a few." The Captain was shocked.
This guy... this is not human. It's impossible to be both so fast and accurate. And he's even using two arrows at once!
But there is one thing he is confident in.
"What about consistency? Longest consecutive headshots?" He asked the guy.
"You go first." Is that pity he saw in his eyes? Ah, must've been his imagination.
"Watch me."
~~~~~~~~~~
What is happening?
Why is his comrades dying one by one?
Those damned archers!
A mountain of his comrades' dead bodies gradually formed by the watchtower. He can't bear to see his comrades die like this.
"AHHHH—!!!"
W-what?
He felt pain in his chest. He looked down and saw an arrow sticking out the center of his chest.
"N-no..."
Unwillingly, his eyes lost the remaining trace of life in them.
~~~~~~~~~~
"54. That's the highest I've ever done." He smiled at the guy beside him.
"Can you beat that?" He provoked.
He only saw him chuckle before nocking an arrow.
He has a bad feeling about this.
~~~~~~~~~~
It was now afternoon. The bandits all died. From their starting number of 200 plus, not a single one was alive.
He was tasked to guard the entrance of the watchtower. But him and the others ended up not needing to do anything as not a single one managed to get within a 10 meter radius of the watchtower.
The most scary thing is how they all died.
He looked at the bodies. Every bandit only needed one arrow. All of which hit the head, save for a few that hit the throat or chest.
The Captain and the guy with him on top is scary. No, terrifying.
As he thought of them, they walked down the tower while chatting.
"That's 174 consecutive headshots. And I only stopped because there's no more." He heard the guy with the Captain speak.
174? Consecutive headshots?
"Alright, you win."
"Thank you for the arrows by the way."
"It's nothing."
He watched as the two walked outside and talk like nothing happened. They're even laughing. Surrounded by corpses of dead bandits, they're laughing.
These two are insane.
