As Cassandra and I spent our morning eating the food she made, my mind had become numb.
Lately, I'd been feeling a lot more angry than usual.
Cassandra had decided to sit next to me instead of across.
"Darling, do you need me to shower you with love?" She asked.
"That would be nice. I don't feel motivated to do anything, today..." I said.
"It's okay! We can just relax and enjoy each other's company. How have your advancements been with The Archmage been, lately?"
"They've been going well. I've been doing testing with creation magic...among other things," I said.
"Ehehehe...my darling Mizik is insatiable in bed! If this keeps up...I might truly need Isabella's help to satisfy you!" She said.
I don't want to think about her right now.
"Let's change the subject. When do you think we should go back to...ugh...The Abyss?"
"Whenever you feel the time is right, darling. We still have plenty of time to relax and continue growing our channeled powers. Also...I'm enjoying the sunlight and food here. Plus, we get to be away from that awful Difar and the monsters in the Abyss!"
"Good point. With Valtheim protecting us, we should be safe."
Cassandra nodded happily.
Once we finished eating, the two of us got up and walked around the castle.
We went into the throne room as we talked and Cassandra looked curiously at the throne.
"Is something on your mind?" I asked.
"Ah...in the past, I remember Difar sitting on that throne. But I had a thought... What if Mizik sat on it?" She said.
"Why would I need to sit on the throne? It's just a glorified chair."
Suddenly she seemed to smile widely. Almost sinisterly.
"Of course it is! But...I really want to see Mizik sit on it! It would be so fitting...so wonderful! Kyaaaa!!!" She said as she began fidgeting.
I gave her a slight smile and nodded.
"Fine. I'll try it."
I walked over and sat down on the empty throne.
As I looked over the mostly barren throne room, a strange feeling came over me.
I sat up straight and smiled wide. I felt like a King.
"You look so wonderful there, darling! Just like a King!" Cassandra said.
"Hahaha...a King without a kingdom. I have no subjects, do I?" I said.
"Sadly, yes... That is true. You have me, though!" She said.
"Come. Sit with me, Cassandra...my Queen," I said.
She walked over and sat on the arm rest of the throne with me. I put my arm around her waist as well.
"Mizik is...so manly!" She said happily.
I took a moment to admire her.
My possession...my slave.
She was beautiful. More so than any woman I had ever seen. Even across other worlds.
And she was all mine.
Suddenly, she moved and sat in my lap sideways with her legs over the arm of the throne. She stared up at me with her eyes full of madness and wrapped her arms around the back of my neck.
A lovely sensation. As if she were submitting to me even further...
Then...a dark thought washed over my mind as I glanced at the empty throne room.
What if I took over this world? What if I used this horrid place to relieve my rage?
[You may not use my power for such things. I would have to deem you a false wielder for that.]
And if I chose not to use you for it?
[Do as you like. If you wish to live like a Demon King, feel free to. But you will not include me in it.]
Then...I can truly do as I please.
"Cassandra. I want to test my power without Vengeance."
"My darling is very powerful even without the Overseer!"
"Of course I am. Would this world accept me as its new ruler or not?" I asked.
"U-umm...most likely not. They are blind to your majesty, darling."
"Then I will subjugate them. I'll use my own power without Vengeance and dominate this world. I want you to come with me and put Intelligence away."
"Yes! I'll follow you! We'll show these worthless fools how utterly pitiful they are by comparison to your power! Ah...I want to call you Master! Your Majesty! King Mizik Iratus! You're so...AMAZING!!!" She said.
Cassandra scooted up to me a bit and leaned close. She hugged me and stared into my eyes.
Then without warning, she started kissing my cheek over and over.
"Call me Master if you want. Your Majesty works as well...and I like the sound of me being a King. Yes...let's go. I have a lot of stress I want to blow off."
"Of course, Master! Then you can use me as well! I look forward to receiving your affection!" Cassandra said.
You're truly insane, but I adore that... Hahaha...let's make all of creation suffer... Kill them all...burn it down...
* * *
After the two of us left the castle, I made sure to leave Vengeance in my inventory. Cassandra did the same with Intelligence.
Both of us activated our Channeled Power.
Then...I began drawing on The Archmage and the Heart of the World.
I wanted to practice using this Aspect in a new way...and this was the perfect opportunity.
Instead of convincing the people of Daser to bow to me, I would obliterate them all.
My kingdom on Daser would be one of death and destruction. They would know me as their god.
But I am a vengeful and merciless god.
I flew into the air and granted Cassandra the ability to follow using my magic.
I tied her flight magic to the Heart of the Deep in her chest.
"Look, darling! Your kingdom is beautiful!" Cassandra said.
"I'll show you beauty...through fire, blood, and chaos," I said.
"Ah! Please do! But none of it will ever compare to his Majesty!"
I raised my hand and manifested a red, chaotic mass of ether.
Then I multiplied it and launched a barrage of them in every direction.
The resulting explosions obliterated everything in the area.
I destroyed everything around us except the castle.
It would remain standing as a testament...for now.
The new Mizik Iratus had been born from despair, insanity, and rage.
I smiled.
And I laughed as everything began to burn.
"I am a King! A god among mortals! I will subjugate and kill all of my enemies! I AM REBORN! On this day, I completely reject the title of Chosen Hero. I AM KING MIZIK IRATUS, THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS!!!"
The two of us flew forward until we arrived at yet another approaching army.
"It seems as if they have yet to learn their lesson, darling. They keep sending troops against us!" Cassandra said.
This was becoming tiresome. They had sent at least five armies to kill us both and none of them had ever come close to succeeding. Even though Cassandra was by herself.
"Let's kill them all on the ground," I said.
"Yes! Let us eradicate these lowly maggots! How dare they stand against his Majesty!" She said.
The two of us shot down and landed in front of the approaching army. I formed two swords out of crystalized magic as Cassandra summoned a shadowy dagger using The Assassin.
The army stopped and one man moved forward on a horse.
"Ah...darling? That man is one of the supposed heroes in this world. I killed him in the past, last time I came here," Cassandra said.
"Is he the one who tried to have his way with you?" I asked.
She nodded.
Before the man on the horse could reach us, I teleported beside him.
"HUH!?"
I sliced the head off of his horse and he fell to the ground as it collapsed.
As he tried to get up, I placed my boot on his chest and fired a rather large icicle into his forehead. It caused his skull to explode on impact.
"You may not have Cassandra," I said coldly.
The soldiers looked on in terror as I stepped off of the man's corpse.
"ASKEL HAS BEEN SLAIN!!! KILL THAT MAN!!!!" A soldier screamed.
Cassandra leisurely approached my side with a content smile on her face as the army charged forward and surrounded us.
"I belong to Mizik! This is so wonderful!"
"All of you...bow to your new King. BOW TO YOUR NEW GOD!!! KNEEL BEFORE ME OR DIE!!!" I roared.
"MURDERER!!! YOU KILLED AS-"
Cassandra decapitated the man with another summoned shadow dagger.
"No. That simply won't do. You must show respect to his Majesty, King Mizik Iratus. Do not insult him, you worm. If he says to bow, you will bow like a dog," she said coldly.
"KILL THEM!!!!" One of the soldiers shouted.
They converged on us and...
...we slaughtered them all.
By the tens...by the hundreds...by the thousands.
They all fell.
We bathed the landscape in their blood and my flames as their screams echoed out.
Once that was finished, we flew to the next city.
Put simply, I burned it to the ground. I cast extreme fire magic to set everything ablaze and turned it all to ashes.
I tried using other spells to obliterate the landscape and every city in my path as well.
But I found that fire was such more satisfying. It seemed perfect as a force of destruction.
Days passed...
I made new spells and ways of using ether strike to annihilate everything.
Lastly, I discovered something interesting about The Archmage.
I could disperse and dispel magic thrown at me before impact.
I practiced with the thousands of soldiers attacking us at the same time. I even threw their spells back tenfold.
I killed hundreds of thousands.
Millions.
All with a smile on my face.
And finally, as we were walking through an empty and burning city, I felt something...
Then I heard something explode nearby... Along with a familiar presence.
"Ah. She's here..." I said angrily.
I could feel my rage building again.
We approached the area that the explosion occurred and I began sensing Adoring Resonance.
I opened my mouth to call for Valtheim, but narrowly dodged as I was almost hit with several streams of light.
"Darling!" Cassandra said.
"HALT!!! STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!!!" Rose shouted angrily.
"VALTHEIM!!! GET US OUT OF HERE!" I shouted.
No response.
My anger continued to build as Rose stepped forward.
She looked around and her angry expression changed to one of horror.
"You... What happened here? Did you do this!?" Rose said.
I smiled at her.
"Guilty. I've been passing the time by subjugating this world using my own powers. I've gained a lot of exp from it," I said.
"Damn you...! I knew it! YOU'RE A MONSTER!!! AN EVIL AND WICKED DEMON LORD!!!" Rose screamed.
"I've been called worse. Why are you bothering us? We were having our honeymoon while I recover from Abyssal Madness, Rose. Go away," I said.
Just looking at her was enough to drive me mad with rage...I didn't want her here right now.
"Evil demon...ugh... I was told to kill you, but...I...I wanted to speak with you first. At the very least, I want to talk before I end your miserable life. I have questions..." Rose said.
I couldn't tell if she intended to stall us for our Channeled Power to run out or not. But currently, I could last over half a day and I had only used it an hour ago.
I wasn't worried.
Still, I used telepathy to speak to Cassandra.
"She's been having issues with her memories, right Cassandra?"
"Yes. Would you like me to open them up even wider?"
"Do it. But wait until I give you the signal."
"It will be done, Master."
"Ask your questions. What do you want? I was testing my powers for when I finally fight against Difar again, among other things like stress relief," I said.
I saw her glance around at the destruction in the burning city around us. She seemed conflicted about my response, but chose not to act.
She knew that to call me out on it would be blatant hypocrisy.
"Of course... First of all...who are you, really?" Rose asked.
"What kind of stupid-"
"Just tell me! I...can't figure out what's going on with my mind, anymore. I want to talk before I execute you," Rose said.
"Shouldn't that be obvious, already?" I asked.
"Just...humor me."
"I am...or WAS your husband."
"Why must you lie to me...?" Rose said.
"If you aren't going to believe my words, why would you bother asking me anything? Do you just want me to say the words you want to hear? You want me to say that I'm no one important? That I'm just a random murderer? THAT would be a lie. I was never anything other than the person I claimed to be."
"What happened, then? Why did you marry Cassandra if you loved me? And...how have you fallen so far...?"
I gritted my teeth in rage.
"I did everything I could to prevent this version of myself from doing that! When I merged with him, I was filled with emotions and feelings that I couldn't get rid of. I chose not to divorce Cassandra because I owed her my life. Because she deserved some measure of a reward for her loyalty and invaluable service...the service of restoring my mind. But I wanted to get you back...because I owe you my life as well. Actually, let me rephrase that: I owe Isabella my life. You are a mockery of the loving and gentle person she was. And finally, I just recovered from actual insanity. I've been reborn now. The chaos you see around you is the result of the Oracle's constant failures."
"Ugh... What do you know of the day when we...supposedly stood at the altar to be married?" Rose asked.
"Which one?" I asked.
"What do you mean, which one!?" Rose asked.
"We did it twice! The first time, Arvild crashed our wedding and I challenged him to a duel after protecting you. The second time, we actually got married without any mishaps. Then...my skill passed to you after our night together. You suffered leveling sickness and I had to take care of you," I said angrily.
"...I simply cannot believe you. I don't understand why, but I can't believe a word of that nonsense."
"The Oracle must have you wrapped around her finger, then. She's the one who killed me, you know? She killed me right in front of you in her temple. You watched me fall to the ground because she froze you in place."
"I-inpossible..."
"No. You watched me die with your own eyes right in front of you. It was likely the last thing you saw just before your memories were reset. Go on...tell me you don't remember that..." I said.
I was really beginning to lose my patience.
Rose seemed to freeze up for a moment as her eyes went wide.
Then she glared angrily at me.
"SHUT UP!!! I WILL HEAR NO MORE OF THIS!!!" Rose shouted.
"Do it, Cassandra."
Cassandra appeared behind Rose and touched the back of her head.
Then, she used mind eater to mess with her head.
"Ah...it looks like these memories are partly unsealed, already. Allow me to just...unlock them!" Cassandra said happily.
"GAH....AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Rose screamed.
She collapsed to her knees and I approached her.
"Do you remember now?" I asked.
She clutched her head as she shook.
"No...The Oracle...worked so hard to seal them...ah...my head... WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS, MIZIK!? WHY ARE YOU SO CRUEL!?!?" She shouted.
"Cruel? That's a new one. I guess I am cruel. But isn't the Oracle far worse? She let me die a thousand agonizing deaths because she is a failure as a caretaker. Do you understand how maddening it is to see a thousand failed versions of yourself all crying out to be released? How long do you think these dead versions of me have been screaming for vengeance?"
"I...-"
"Shut up, Rose. I loved Isabella more than anything and the Oracle took her away. She's using her against me in the form of you. Your entire existence is a mockery. But the Oracle has failed...again. I escaped the Deep Abyss after losing my mind and Cassandra reconstructed me. Now...I am without limits. I am a great disaster that shall fall upon creation."
Rose composed herself and swung Bravery at me.
Bravery clashed against Intelligence as the floating dagger materialized in front of me.
I moved back as soon as it happened.
Then, Cassandra smiled.
"Did you forget about someone?" She said.
Several clones of Cassandra appeared around Rose as she shakily prepared to fight.
"Damn you, sister..."
Light exploded all around Rose as Cassandra reappeared at my side.
The clones were dispersed and Rose glared at me.
"I really wish I didn't have to kill you, but I don't think I have a choice, Rose-"
I stopped as I felt a familiar presence in my head.
[Good. Slay the one you once loved. Then you will finally be perfected. I will forgive you, Chosen Hero, as long as you promise to slay the Source.]
I heard the voice of the Oracle in my head.
I felt her smiling as I prepared to kill Rose.
Then...something in me snapped.
I stared at Rose and my expression turned from anger to complete indifference.
Then...I smiled as well.
Ha... She's right here. She doesn't have to die, right? The woman I desire is right in front of me. I could just...help myself. Right? Yes...Isabella has always been mine for the taking. Isabella loves me, so it's fine. Besides, as a King, I can take whatever I want. Cassandra can fix her mind, too.
"Oracle! I'm going to show you why I'm not a hero. And at the same time...I'll take revenge on this mockery of my deceased wife...by making her mine..." I said.
Rose seemed somewhat confused and uneasy about my gaze.
I slowly reached out in front of my chest and grabbed hold of an invisible thread of magic.
Rose seemed to flinch as I touched it.
"Rose...do to know what this is?" I asked calmly.
"What...do you mean by 'what'...?" She said.
"Adoring Resonance. I'm sure you felt something every time we got close. I made this ability for us in the previous timeline. But...it seems to have resurfaced in that body of yours."
"I truly have no idea what you-"
She froze in place as I made the thread more clear to her.
"This ability would make us stronger the closer we were... It allowed us to share our deepest, most intimate feelings without words. You've been such a problem, so I think I'll make a few modifications. Don't worry, once this is all over, I'll restore it..."
I modified the thread into a new skill.
A darkened version of Adoring Resonance...I decided to call it: Submissive Resonance.
And as soon as I finished, Rose clutched her chest in agony.
"GUH...NGH....AHHHHHH!!!! WHAT DID YOU JUST DO TO ME!?!?" She screamed.
"Do you like it? I call it...Submissive Resonance. The more you hate me, the weaker you become. The more you resist me, the more pain you feel," I said.
It was so perfect to see her like this. I couldn't help but smile.
A sadistic sort of smile...
"My darling is so smart and resourceful! I'm so impressed!" Cassandra squealed.
"M-my...my power...! My power is fading!" Rose said fearfully.
Then, I lunged forward.
Rose tried to blast me with several beams of light, but I deflected them with magic barriers.
They were so much weaker, now... It was child's play
She swung her sword and I parried it away with Vengeance.
She had the strength of a normal human. Something so far below me that I found it hilarious.
At the same time, I felt Vengeance smile.
[Our prey is within range! MAKE HER SUFFER!!!]
Rose raised her shield to block me, but I teleported behind her and changed Vengeance into a hammer.
I hit her over the head with it, hard enough to crack her skull. Since she was weakened, the attack went through her defenses easily.
She fell to the ground and dropped Bravery.
I kicked it away before Rose could grab it and turned to her. At the same time, her armor and shield dispersed after letting go of the unbound sword.
"You...fiend..." She whimpered.
"Shut up!"
She tried to blast me with light magic, but I dispersed all of it, instantly.
Then, I used creation magic to create a hyper-realistic statue of one of the grotesque insect creatures I had seen in the Abyss right in front of her face.
"AAHHHH!!!! WH-WHAT IS THAT!?!?" She screamed.
She backed away from it and I caused it to collapse.
Then, before she could compose herself, I lunged forward and placed my hand on her face.
I filled her body with extreme amounts of sensory magic and placed a block on her Aspects. Then I paralyzed her legs.
"Wh-what....? What did you...d-do to me!?" She said.
I smiled sinisterly as I saw her legs go limp.
"What are you...planning...?" She said fearfully.
"Cassandra...I'm sorry about this," I said.
She simply smiled.
"Rose is so lucky...! Despite having committed many terrible sins against his Majesty, she gets to receive such a wonderful gift! I would love to be in her place right now~!" Cassandra cooed.
"S-sister!?" Rose said fearfully.
"Maybe now...you'll remember... I'll make you remember... Hahahaha!"
After that...I tore off Rose's clothes and began my revenge.
* * *
I took my time with Rose. I violated her for hours.
At first, she screamed for me to stop after I stole her maidenhood, but soon after it began, and with the help of my sensory magic...
She begged for more.
I couldn't tell if it was because of the residual memories from her past self, Submissive Resonance, or because the intense sensory magic. But I didn't care.
Hell, even Cassandra joined in. She just couldn't help herself when she saw me that way. She wanted the same treatment as her once-beloved sister.
Over and over, I violated Rose.
And when I finally had my fill, she lay on the ground whimpering. I created a cloak and threw it over her, then activated the badge given to me by Difar.
The black and purple armor of The Dark Army fit itself perfectly over my body.
Cassandra smiled and did the same.
It felt good to finally get revenge. I could get used to it...
Then I began to wonder if I could enslave Rose and dominate her mind.
I smiled as I created the spells.
I placed my hand on the side of my head and laughed.
"Hahahahaha...HAHAHAHAHA!!! I'VE TRULY BECOME A PIECE OF SHIT, HAVEN'T I!?" I shouted.
"My darling isn't anything like that!" Cassandra said.
She had only just clothed herself in the Dark Army attire and was sitting on the ground with a content smile on her face.
"No. I've been a pile of garbage for as long as I can remember... I've massacred people. Men, women, and children. I'm a demon. But I'm okay with that...unlike Rose..."
Meanwhile, Rose began crying much more as my sensory magic finally dispersed and freed her mind.
"Y-you...YOU MONSTER!!! WHY!? WHY WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING!?!?" Rose wailed. She shakily sat up as she covered herself in the cloak I made and kept crying. "Oh gods... Why did I do those things!? What was I saying!? AHHHHH!!!! WHY!? I've been defiled!"
I bound her with magic chains up to her neck and glared at Rose.
"Where do you draw the line, Rose? You've massacred trillions across multiple worlds. And you call me a monster? Why? Because I violated you? IS THAT BECAUSE YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT YOURSELF!? IS IT ONLY A CRIME WHEN IT AFFECTS YOU, ROSE!?!?" I screamed.
She went limp as her eyes seemed to comprehend my words.
"I...I'm... I'm so sorry... I'm a monster..."
"No, Rose. We're both monsters. All three of us, here, are monsters. Cassandra has tortured and murdered innocents. She's slain people in my name and committed innumerable atrocities as a Dark Army General. I've killed millions and stole your innocence. You're guilty of mass murder as well. How does it feel?" I said.
"I don't want this!!! I WANTED TO HELP PEOPLE!!! I WANTED TO BE A HERO!!!" She wailed.
"Maybe a hero is just someone who murders for a cause. Whatever they think the greater good is. If that makes you a hero, then you can have the title. I reject it."
I released my chains and Rose fell over as she continued screaming in anguish at the shame and despair she felt.
"Darling, could I have the same treatment as her again, later?" Cassandra asked hopefully.
"Sure. Why not? You can even pretend to resist like you do, sometimes," I said.
I turned to Rose and she tried to back away.
"N-noooo... Please...no more!!!" She wailed.
I grabbed her by throat and held my other hand at the ready.
I'll enslave you. I'll dominate your mind and erase that MOCKERY!!!
"False wielder...murderer of my family, and my own personal bounty hunter. Give me one good reason to spare your mind."
"Please...just kill me... I don't want to live anymore..." She said.
"I might refuse that. What if I made you into my slave? I could dominate your mind just like you claim I've been doing all along. You could atone for your sins by helping me kill Difar once the Oracle is dead. How does that sound? You'll love serving me. I can give you a purpose."
"I want to die!!! Please nooooo!!!" Rose cried.
Before I could cast the magic on her mind, however...
She disappeared.
And with her, so did Bravery.
"What...?" I managed.
Then...a specter of the Oracle appeared in front of me.
She looked pissed.
"You...YOU MONSTER!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?!? WHAT ABOMINABLE ACT HAVE YOU STOOPED TO!? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THIS WORLD!?!?" The Oracle roared.
"SHUT THE HELL UP, YOU OLD BITCH!!! BRING HER BACK HERE, NOW!!!" I screamed.
"I will do no such thing! I will petition the Creator to have your status as Chosen Hero to be revoked Immediately! I'LL HAVE A REPLACEMENT-"
"WHY HAVEN'T YOU DONE THAT ALREADY!? I NEVER WANTED THIS! I NEVER ASKED TO SUFFER A THOUSAND DEATHS! I NEVER WANTED TO SEE MY LOVED ONES DIE OVER AND OVER!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT HAPPENS TO US WHEN WE DIE!? DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE GRAVEYARD!?!?"
"I have heard of no such place. But-"
"Then listen to me! Every time we die, our personalities and memories are torn away from us! We're forced to watch ourselves die over and over in that horrible place of nothingness! AND FOR WHAT!?!? BECAUSE YOU REFUSE TO UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION!? BECAUSE YOU LACK THE ABILITY TO COMPREHEND DIFAR'S FULL POWER!? AND WHAT ABOUT VALTHEIM!?" I screamed.
"I have heard enough! You have clearly gone completely insane!!!" The Oracle shouted angrily.
"OF COURSE I HAVE!!! THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU WATCH YOURSELF DIE IN AGONY A THOUSAND TIMES!!! AND WHY DO YOU THINK I CAME HERE!? I'VE SEEN THINGS IN THE ABYSS NO MORTAL SHOULD SEE! THEY WARPED MY MIND!!!"
"THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE! YOUR MENTAL FORTITUDE SHOULD BE GREATER THAN-"
"SILENCE!!!!!!! SHUT YOUR FILTHY WHORE MOUTH!!! I will have my revenge! I'll make everyone suffer as a consequence of your actions. Because of you...NOW I AM REBORN AS THE DESTROYER!!! I AM A GREAT DISASTER!!! A MONSTER OF YOUR MAKING, ORACLE!!! AND ALL OF CREATION WILL SUFFER THE CURSE OF MY WRATH!!!"
The Oracle looked momentarily horrified as soon as I spoke those words.
Just then...I felt the presence of Valtheim again. I smiled wide.
"What is so funny!? I'll have your position revoked and you'll be thrown into hell for WASTING OUR TIME!" The Oracle shouted.
"Really? Does the Creator still even talk to you?" I asked.
She paused for a moment and I couldn't help but laugh.
"HAHAHAHAHA!!! HE'S BEEN IGNORING YOU, HASN'T HE!? BECAUSE YOU'RE A FAILURE!!! A GOOD-FOR-NOTHING FAILURE!!! WORTHLESS ORACLE!!!" I mocked.
Just then, I saw a Void eye open behind the Oracle.
"Insolent...damn you... He will hear of your actions! You will suffer!" The Oracle shouted.
"Hey. What's that behind you? Kind of looks like one of Valtheim's eyes!" I said with a smile.
The Oracle turned and seemed to freeze in place for a moment.
"What the..."
Then, the eye disappeared.
"I guess she's shy right now, then? That's fine. You'll have plenty of time to get acquainted later. We're coming for you, Oracle. Excelsis is doomed. We're going to slaughter everyone and destroy everything. This world is just an example of what Excelsis will look like when I'm done with it! And once your realm has been razed to the ground, I'm going to make you suffer a thousand deaths just like I did. You'll regret ever being born. I am King Mizik Iratus, The Destroyer. I promise the next time we meet, Excelsis will burn. Everything you know and love will cease to be."
She simply gritted her teeth and looked at me.
"Bring it on, Chosen Failure!" She said.
Then, the specter of the Oracle disappeared.
Right after that, Valtheim rose from the ground.
"Did you have to hide? It would have been nice if she saw you, Valtheim," I said.
"Eyes...are closed... Cannot see me... She detects nothingness...but not me..." Valtheim said.
I had a feeling I understood.
Valtheim knew that the Oracle could only detect the presence of the Void.
The Oracle did not actually see the eye floating behind her, just that something related to the Void had appeared. Or rather, the space within that particular area had ceased to exist and connected with the Void.
Regardless, I had finally gotten some measure of revenge against Rose and made my point against the Oracle.
Even if it made me into even more of a piece of shit...but I didn't care.
I had abused the power of The Archmage.
And I had ideas on how to accelerate the growth of our Channeled power.
I could modify these skills. It just required a unique bit of magic. I stole some of the necessary energy from Rose while I was enjoying her, and next, I would siphon energy directly out of Vakra's head.
But before that...
"Valtheim...take us to Vakra when I give the word. Do you understand?
"Yes..."
"Good. Now then...WORLD SIPHON!!!" I said.
I created a sword out of crystalized magic and stabbed it into the ground.
I felt my power grow as the entire world was robbed of all of its animus energy.
Finally, it ceased as the world of Daser began to crumble and break apart.
"Now, Valtheim," I said.
"I...obey..."
Cassandra grabbed onto my arm and Valtheim enveloped us in her shadows.
We were pulled back down into the Abyss.
