Vena, now armed with the coordinates of her goal, opened a spatial rift with her hands. She stepped through it, entering the universe where the key was located.
Upon arriving in this new reality, she checked her orb once more. The key was situated on a planet at the very center of this universe. With this knowledge, she hurriedly began her journey, flying toward her destination.
After some time, Vena finally reached the center of the universe. What she saw took her slightly by surprise.
This wasn't a planet—not in the conventional sense. It was more accurate to describe it as a superplanet.
Its size was absurd. Continents were vast enough to contain multiple universes within them. Mountains towered to heights that dwarfed entire galaxies, lakes were so deep they could hold solar systems, and even a single tree could encompass an entire world. This was Malkhar—the world of the most dangerous beasts.
Realizing the immensity of the planet, Vena adjusted her speed to trillions of times faster than the speed of light. Without this, even crossing a single hill on Malkhar would take an eternity.
The gravity here was nothing short of monstrous. It was stronger than the crushing force of the largest supermassive black holes. It was terrifying to imagine how powerful the black holes of this universe must be in comparison.
But Vena, while way weaker than Venus, was still tough enough to withstand the gravity of this place just fine.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Malkhar had a total diameter of 90 quadrillion light-years. As Vena walked across its vast surface, she observed colossal beasts of incredible variety, from exotic birds to dinosaur-like creatures.
As far she could see in the horizon, there was a mountain that pierced the skies. For such mountain to do this, it was obvious that its size defied imagination. According to the orb, the key was at the top of this mountain, guarded by a creature named Yezod.
Vena procceeded towards the direction of the mountain. She was currently passing through a dense forest, where natural light barely reached due to massive amount of leaves from the giant trees.
At some point, she heard a faint sound.
"Hm?"
Two seconds later, something burst out from the trunk of a tree, attacking her from behind.
Vena, having sensed the attack beforehand, swiftly dodged and put some distance between herself and the attacker.
She turned to face her opponent—a spider so enormous it rivaled the size of an ordinary planet.
"Truly an intriguing world…" Vena said calmly. "I've never tasted spider meat before. How about you let me have a sample?"
It was unclear whether the spider understood her words, but it let out a piercing screech and lunged at her, swinging one of its massive legs in an attempt to crush her flat.
*BOOOOM*
The impact created an enormous crater, and dust filled the area.
As the dust settled, the truth became clear: Vena had stopped the spider's massive leg with one hand! Her body showed no signs of injury.
This was unfathomable for the spider, whose size dwarfed Vena by exponential degrees.
"To think you would treat me like a bug… how impudent!" Vena said as she pushed the spider's leg forward, causing it to stumble and crash to the ground. The spider struggled for a few seconds before regaining its footing.
But by the time it recovered, Vena had already launched her counterattack.
An intensely dense, multicolored beam shot from her index finger. The beam travelled at speeds that could not be measured by science, reaching the spider before the former could even begin to think about dodging.
*ZAP*
The spider's massive body was struck by the beam. For a brief moment, it glowed brightly before splitting into countless cubes of flesh. This was a space-shattering attack.
The spider was as good as dead.
"Time to savor it," Vena said as she picked up one of the flesh cubes and took a bite. "Hmm, tastes like chicken."
