The three children of the Queen, axioms instantiated much like herself, were enacted as the commanders of the etherian community that would soon live on Ursa Major. These three were regarded as the triumvirate. Beings of immense power that would act as the second in command should the Queen not decide to intervene.
Despite all of them sharing a similar nature to their mother, each of them possessed unique features.
The firstborn, Antrax, loved to wage war across the cosmos, and often stepped into the Material Substrate to kill creatures for his own amusement or challenge. He was aware of wars that were committed across the Exosphere and the Material Substrate. This empowered him, for his shape was designed this way.
The secondborn, Walkure, loved to enact punishment on those she saw as worthy of it. This punishment was in the form of killing, suffering, torture, or else, and it was in accordance with her imagination. She was aware of the unrelated actions that happened across the Exosphere and the Material Substrate that could be both subjectively and objectively considered as punishment. This empowered her, for her shape was designed this way.
The lastborn, Penumbra, was the oddest of all. He did not speak much and often did not interact with others. He was as quiet as the dark, because he was the dark. Or to be more exact, he was the void from which the dark sprung. Across all of the Exosphere, any place that has darkness (and nothing) would be under his influence. This empowered him, for his shape was designed this way.
One day, the Queen assembled the three and told them they would be a triumvirate for the kingdom to come.
They were pleased.
