There wasn't a millennium that passed by the Undead God's eyes that would predict the indications that there was reincarnation as a sound method of resurrection. It wouldn't have given the effects of transference of Ba and Ka the same benefits.
As the soul would have to leave the body, and not return to other forms, be it any variety of reincarnation would not provide such a solution to a god. It was a clash of unique entities and their customs that circumvented the issues of immortality, but also to gain mortality within the human realms.
