Although it was deemed a feast to behold, the population of humans started waning, and greed only grew. Annette did her best to use all the parts of the pikes and the smaller fish.
She was butchering the guts of the fish, using them in a pestle and mortar to make a paste along with some flour and some herbs. The guts were mixed with the dry ingredients, and she boiled water, forming a dough.
These were not meant for either bipedal species within the Valley since these small doughs of fish guts would be fed to another variety of animals, the livestock. It's used as animal feed to ensure their survival in the terrible winter.
Cloette felt weaker with every passing day and fewer animals were sacrificed to the people. This meant less blood for her, so Annette took advantage of the fish being processed and saved the fish's blood into a bottle.
