It had been some while, since Kyle was frozen against his will by Elsa. He'd recovered from the freezing effects, as he was now on his feet.
"That carzy bitch, I can't believe she froze me." Kyle uttered in anger, clearly annoyed by the fact Elsa froze him against his will. He'd already knew from the start Elsa was a pompous prideful bitch, but he didn't think she'd be this evil to freeze him without thinking twice.
"And they call me a demon." Shaking his head, Kyle then brought out the map inspecting it.
"That wasn't there before." Kyle muttered, seeing the appearance of a green dot, blinking just a tad bit from the castle walls. He guessed that was him, as he was currently a bit from the walls. Looking further, he could see the roads leading to the barren fields with rocky plains, with the word wastelands written boldly on top.
'I guess it's time.' Kyle thought seeing enough. He then rolled the scroll back, placing it safely in his pockets doing some light stretches before he headed out.
"Bastards! They couldn't even spare a fucking vehicle.. I mean what do they take me for? A stallion?" Kyle scoffed in disdain and anger. He didn't even get the chance to have breakfast. The journey to the wastelands was long as he'd have to pass different canyons, hills, and small villages, before he finally made his way to the wastelands.
'It might take me 2-3 days if I run like crazy. 4 if I encounter some unexpected surprises.' Kyle determined. As for stops to take a break and eat if he saw a creature, he'd estimated he could go a day or two without eating or sleeping. As a demon he didn't crave food much, so he was confident he would be fine for a day or two.
"There's a small village nearby, approximately 150 meters from here so that should be my first stop." Kyle was a bit interested in visiting this small village, as he'd mostly been in the castle. At first, he'd thought the neighbouring villages were independent but he was wrong, as they were all mapped under lumia's kingdom terrain.
And he had way more stamina, with the addition of the frozen ice dragon katana and the beam blaster gun. So he could run for some hours, before stopping to rest and replenish his energy.
'You can do this Kyle..' he chanted in his head, crouching down a bit in a sprinting form. Taking a deep breath, he pushed his right leg back a bit, steadying his left leg and hands.
'Bam!'
He shot forward like a rocket, dashing through the sands, chucking up a trail of gust of wind behind him. Swinging his arms like an Olympic runner to gain momentum, he propelled his body more forward. Chanting only one mantra in his mind.
'Only the strong will survive!'
.....
'Where is it?' Kyle frowned searching around, he'd been running non stop for a couple of hours now. His head was covered in sweat, which streamed down to his body wetting his clothes.
'Thank goodness I wore black, or they might mistake me for some kind of sweat star.' Kyle shook his head. glad he chose to go with complete black dressing, as he was drenched in his own sweat.
"It's meant to be around here somewhere~" Kyle muttered still searching around, looking for something. Bringing the scroll out from his pocket he opened it, examining it once more.
"It clearly says am really close to the village, but I can't see any traces of it." Kyle frowned staring at the map. The small green dot had moved from just outside Lumia walls as he did, confirming his suspicions that was him. It was now very close to the nearest small village, drawn on the map.
'I might collapse if I continue running.' Kyle's legs were already weak, from the nonstop running for hours. He had a huge energy pool thanks to his katana and the beam gun buffs, but he wasn't immune to fatigue and needed to rest and replenish his energy.
"Shit." Occupied with finding the village he stumbled on a small rock, tipping him off balance as he fell face first to the floor.

"I hate the desert." Kyle grumbled, getting up to his feet when something up front caught his attention.
"Is that? haha! I was getting a bit worried there." Kyle nervously chuckled scratching his head a bit.
Up ahead a small village could be seen, occupying a small amount of space in the treacherous hot desert. It looked to be desolate, as there were no signs of humans or any activity whatsoever.
'Why does it look so deserted?' Kyle wondered, seeing no signs of life there.
'Maybe they're inside.. I might as well have a look since I'll be resting here.' Without hesitating, Kyle sped towards the village. He didn't sense any life residing there, but he couldn't be so sure yet.
It didn't take long before he reached the village, seeing just a few partially destroyed houses barely standing. Walking in, he decided to check each house for any signs of a survivor.
Entering the first house, there wasn't much items in it only a few broken chairs and tables, with other half destroyed items. The second was the same so as the third, but in much worse condition than the first two.
'Maybe they left a long time ago. Just what happened here?' Kyle wondered, grazing his hand across a table covered in dust. He tried to check for any signs of someone being here recently, but he didn't find any. which further stimulated his guess, the people residing here left a long time ago.
'I should just check this last one.' He thought, staring at the last house he hadn't checked before he retired from his search, and rested for a while in one of the houses.
Entering through the door, Kyle found it a bit weird this door was surprisingly still intact. 'Maybe it wasn't affected by whatever happened since it's the last.' Kyle thought shrugging it off. Going in more, he found the chairs and tables inside were also in good condition, along with the walls of the room.
Checking the two rooms they were also surprisingly still intact, as even the room with a bed was nicely in order.
'Sniff! sniff!' Kyle suddenly sniffed the air, his nostrils picking up the scent of something.
"A human." His eyes widened a bit, as a chic smile formed on his lips. "Finally it gets interesting."
Tracing the scent, he followed it to a room more inside than the two bedrooms. Infact, this room was so concealed that if it wasn't thanks to his heightened senses and smell, he wouldn't have located it.
Just as he was about twisting the doorknob, the sound of water could be heard rushing causing him to pause.
'Is he bathing right now?' Kyle guessed the person was a man, since he found a pair of men's boots in the second room and pants.
'It might also be a trap.' There were several factors and scenarios this could play out, but Kyle didn't plan on waiting. With his katana in his arms and his skills, he was confident he could win if a fight were to occur.
Twisting the doorknob Kyle opened the door, his gaze immediately befalling on the silhouette in the shower. Tints of red slowly formed on his cheeks, with wide eyes staring in disbelief.
"I-it's a woman.." he stuttered, frozen in place.
.....
Back at lumia's castle, Elsa could be seen walking along the floor leading to the throne room. As she passed, the atmosphere changed to a much frosty one, making the guards shiver.
'I-is that ice?' One of the guards wondered if his eyes were playing tricks on himz as he was vividly seeing some traces of ice along the paths Elsa walked.
'Just how powerful is she?' another inwardly thought, shaking in his boots. They were all wearing the royal space armour, which was designed to adapt to any environmental changes, making it much suitable for the user. But now, it looked like their advanced space armour was reduced to shit, as thin lines of Ice could be seen across the armour chest piece.
Making her way into the throne room, a figure could be seen standing at the window near the throne. Troy stared on outside, clearly caught up in his thoughts as he didn't notice Elsa's presence.
"I never thought I'd see you like this in a million years." Elsa chuckled, finally garning Troy's attention as he gazed at her. "And may I ask what is it that troubles the all mighty great king!" Elsa dramatically spoke in an indifferent expression, maintaining her dialogue cold tone.
"Do you think he will succeed?" Troy calmly asked.
"The peasant? Huh.. no of course." Elsa honestly said, not trying to hide her disdain for Kyle. Sighing, troy then calmly walked back to the throne, sitting down with a long face.
"Then all hope is lost." He said clenching his fist, a bitter expression plastered on his face.
Looking at him, Elsa was a bit surprised seeing troy this way as she didn't know him to be the moody type.
'Something's definitely wrong with him. Ha.. oh well, guess I have to lie then~'
"Even though he isn't a formidable match for Lynn, I see some bits of somewhat potential in him." Elsa calmly said making troy raise a brow.
"A-are you sure?"
"Yes. afterall.. he did survive one of my skills." Elsa said to which troy slightly chuckled, a bitter sweet smile formed on his lips.
"But." she continued. "Am afraid the peasant will have his hands full, as Lynn possesses the heart staff which grants her unlimited mana."
