By the time Tom reached his destination something unaccounted was happening in Elder Jom's house.

In the same room were Tom's awakening ceremony just happened the pretty figure of his half-sister Cloe could be observed sitting in a lotus postion.

She had her eyes closed seemingly very much concentrated on her current job which was scensing mana. Her raven black hair was tied in a upper-ponytail which fitted perfectly well her small but maturing figure. If Tom was here he would have trembled thinking how cute she was, especially how concentrated she was adding a cute and adorable charm to her baby like face. And with that black leath choker around her neck she looked adorable as fuck.

If a loli-con were here he would have personaly risked his tainted life kidnapping her and committing unspeakable crimes.

(Don't do it. FBI god is watching!)

The instant after Cloe finished awakening, A small imperceptible crack formed on the nearby awakening crystal.

A small tint of dark shade slowly emerged in the center portion of the murky-white transparent crystal.

Like when a drop of black ink dripped into a milky white water.

Strangely the wisp of dark ink like substance became more and more dense colour.

It was soon after this dark wisp began moving around the crystal peacefully, like some kind of shadow energy trapped eons ago.

A few moments later a wisp of white light also appered on the opposite side where the dark wisp appered. It was cam and peaceful like the dark wisp, but unlike the former which was as black as the blackest of black holes and dark as the darkest core of a dying planet.

The latter, the shining white wisp was as pure as light can be. It was a symbol of purity. Unblemished it was like a hundred billon new born stars compressed together to form a tiny wisp.

Both the wisps were moving around the crystal peacefully, untill... the shining white wisp invaded the privacy of the dark wisp. Like two opposites found each other both repelled each other, their peacefull nature was long gone. Now it looked like both the wisps were incensed metting each other.

They seethed around the crystal seemingly enraged being just in the same environment with the other.

The stalactite like crystal trembled forming more and more cracks in it. Both the wisps were devouring the crystal making more of themselves.

This trembling drew Elder Jom's attention and obviously Cloe was there and it also drew her attention too.

Elder Jom didn't speak anything curious to see what was happening to his prized crystal. This was not just a common assement crystal, it also possessed the ability to stimulate a bloodline.

It was really cumbersome to get this crystal in the first place and it cost a shit tone of mana stones. But it was all worth it. With his talent plus this crystal, he made lot of money.

Unfortunately money just can't buy everything and seeing his crystal trembling made him fear the unknown. He got closer to the crystal to observe what's going on.

Cloe also began moving towards it, not because she was concerned but because of her curiosity. As an aspiring Artificer she was naturally more attracted towards things that had runes and this crystal exactly exactly had complex runes carved in its base.

[run]

Cloe stopped as she heard a voice inside her head she squinted her eyes at Elder Jom to see if he had also heard what she heard and it seemed as she was the only one who heard it confusing her.

[RUN!!!]

The voice again echoed echoed though her head but this time instead of a suggestion it felt more like a command.

A cold shiver moved down her spine. she felt like her little life would be in danger if she disobeyed this concise and emotionless command.

Her entire mind was in turmoil. Fortunately her body was honest. Her petty body darted through the exist as fast as she could.

Jom didn't notice her running out he was more focused/concerned on the white and dark wisps inside the crystal.

He instantly recognised these unreal objects shocking him.

"Bloodline Essence!! BUT HOW CAN THEY EXIST WITH SUCH PURITY" Elder Jom shouted "Light and dark when? how? "

Bloodline Essence or Essenced mana is created when mana is vitiated with the characteristics of a bloodline power.

The more dense this is the more time it'll take to form and the more time it takes the greater the purity it will have.

Currently these two wisps have 100× times more purity than anything he had ever seen in his life.

Closing on the crystal he leaned forward and eyed the crystal to understand more of this phenomena.

However inside the crystal was the very opposite of calmness —it was chaotic. The once tiny wisps now occupied more than half of the crystal.

As both the wisps got bigger and bigger, both parties clashed more and more. The Crystal trembled. A low humming was heard as rhe crystal buzzed.

KABOOM~!

Then suddenly without warning boom! it exploded into dozens of jagged pieces.

This unexpected explosion took Elder Jom by surprise, because held into the belief that nothing would happen to his precious crystal.

Even though he was still at the peak-mana core realm he still failed to protect himself. Not that this realm was really strong, just the second realm of power.

A piece of crystal smoothly pierced through his brain insta killing him. His body wasn't spared either. It transformed into something similar to swiss cheese and was send shooting into the night sky.

The force from the explosion created a sonic boom killing all unsuspecting people within a 60 meter radius. Fortunately, Cloe hadn't stopped running, she transited 100 meters before the shockwave reached her, sending her spiralling into the nearest tree.

Cloe was knocked down unconscious. Fortunately she only had a few minor injuries.

Meanwhile almost instantly the city guards arrived at the scene with their metalic looking lether armor. Surprisingly many off them were flying, mana revolved around them as a myriad of flying skills were cast.

They moved efficiency securing a perimeter around preventing unwanted people from entering.

A squad also moved to calm the chaos, telling random lies about the explosion which they didn't have a single clue about.

And these people gladly belived these lies, better than panicking right.

As the guards waited for their superiors to arrive. Our dull protagonist was having a nice chat with his milf mother...
