The Twilight Emperor was astonished as he dodged Xuanyuan strikes which threatened to reap his life if they landed. He could feel his active Mana domain all over the place and if Xuanyuan had casted one, then there'd have been a clash between domains but his domain was the only active domain present yet by strange means the Swordman in front of him wasn't being supressed in the least. Instead he got even more stronger than ever before. The Emperor felt that his Domain was only strengthening Xuanyuan instead so he deactivated it. But there was no change. It was as if the domain was never present as Xuanyuan continued sending strikes after strikes his way.
After battling for another five minutes, the Emperor who could not withstand any additional bombardment roared loudly before collapsing lifelessly on the ground dropping a bunch of items on the ground...
Xuanyuan didn't hurry to loot the equipments dropped. He sat down to recover his Mental power. After all, controlling Mana and casting spellsnot only depleted Mana, they also depleted his mental powers and recovering was of utmost importance otherwise he'd be unable to engage in any more combat.
After testing for about ten minutes. He began gathering the loots dropped by the Emperor.
Among the items there was a crimson staff that spontaneously radiated the power of fire. It was no doubt an Epic ranked item...
Casting speed: +20%
All attributes: +20%
Magical damage: +30%
Elemental defense: +20%
Class requirement: Elementialist (Flame Wizard)
Cannot be dropped, cannot be destroyed...
Xuanyuan kept the staff after examining it's stats. It was a powerful equipment but not useful for him. He'd give that to Qingyuan when he returned.
All attributes: +30%
Magical defense: +20%
Casting speed: +10%
Class requirement: Elementialist (Flame Wizard)
Cannot be dropped, cannot be destroyed...
Looking at the
"I'll sort that out when I get back" He concluded and continued looting the items.
Apart from the two Epic items, the rest were a bunch of Gold and Silver ranked level 120 items and several chests filled with Good coins and Magic crystals. Xuanyuan felt that the loots were good but there was an item that caught his attention. A tablet recording a Combat technique or to be specific, it recorded the combat technique used by the Twilight Emperor previously.
Holds a recording of the Bronze combat technique
Can be used three times. Each having a cooldown of three days.
Cannot be destroyed...
Xuanyuan was ecstatic as he held the tablet in his hands. He felt tempted to use the tablet immediately but he knew he'd have to find a suitable learning condition to use the tablet after all he's currently exhausted.
He kept the tablet in his spatial bag along with the other items he looted and flew out of the Twilight valley...
Once he left the Twilight valley, he had nowhere to go. He could descend to another leveling region but that felt somewhat boring. After contemplating for a while, he changed directions and flew towards the nearest city instead...
There were many cities in the Realm of spirituality which was about three times the size of the Earth. But due to the massive population of NPCs and monsters alone, players would be forced to wait in line to enter the city as it can only accomodate a limited population. The status of a player or NPCs determine how long they'd have to wait on line. Nobles are guaranteed entry into the city at any time. Again, Tier 3 Kings and some respected Tier 2 Masters do not need to wait long before they can enter the city. Tier 4 Emperors could simply fly in unobstructed.
Currently, in front of Purple leaves city, a large number of players and NPCs formed a long line outside the city gate quietly being checked by the city Guards. A smaller line stood beside them consisting of Nobles, Masters and Kings. Xuanyuan quietly joined the line of the Nobles and waited to be granted entry.
He could have simply flown inside but he knew there'd be an entourage waiting to welcome him once he landed. After all, flying is only possible at Tier 4, so whoever flies into the city is either at Tier 4 or higher. Such an existence deserves to be welcomed.
He wasn't hoping to attract attention by flying into the city. Standing in the line of the Nobles was already eye-catching on its own as there were only a few players present on that line and they were famous players and upper echelons of large Guilds...
"That line is for Nobles only..." One of the players on the other line kindly said to Xuanyuan.
"I'm a Noble too" Xuanyuan replied simply.
"I've never seen or heard of you before in the Purple leaves city" The player continued. "I know all the Nobles in the city but you're not among them"
