After defending several more waves of attacks from the players, Xuanyuan suddenly raised his Sword.
"You've guys have been attacking, it's now my turn to show what I'm made of!" Xuanyuan said.
He raised and the ninety nine swords followed suit. He swung his Sword and 100 blades of light flew towards the army before him rapidly.
"Tanks, forward! Healers cast your invincibility spell on them!" Heavenly Tiger ordered. It's quite remarkable that he's still able to give appropriate orders in such a situation.
The Shield warriors and the Guardian knights stepped forward and smashed their Shields on the ground to form a tight defensive network which even a fly would be unable to breach. The Healers behind waved their staffs and sacred radiances covered the front line Tanks and an invincibility status appeared above their heads.
At the same time, the incoming Sword lights collided with the shields of the tanks and sent them flying with their HPs in the red with some weaker MTs dying immediately. The defensive formation formed previously was instantly disrupted and everything went chaotic. It was hard to imagine that a Swordman caused all this effortlessly.
Snow Titan nodded in understanding when she saw that. She knew well how frightening experts with Epic weapons are. Such a weapon can even allow a Tier 1 player to fight with a Tier 2 Master to a stalemate. The power of such a weapon is even more exaggerated in Xuanyuan's hands. Now Snow Titan believed Xuanyuan's not a hacker. He was the real deal!
Xuanyuan didn't take advantage of their chaotic state. He allowed the survivors to group up and form their formation before raising his Sword again.
The players from Heaven will legion revealed horrified expressions as they felt the dangerous aura coming from Xuanyuan's sword itself.
Xuanyuan began swinging his sword at a frequency which other players couldn't keep up with. Although Xuanyuan had slashed thirteen times, it appeared as if he only attacked once as all the blades of light combined just when they reached the army.
This was a combat technique where a player combines several strikes to exhibit more power. Normally, this technique is difficult to execute and even talented Body Refinement realm experts are barely able to execute the technique. But once it is successfully executed the output isn't just a simple 1 + 1. Ordinarily, combine two or three strikes is considered good. As for combining five to seven, that only exist in legends. As for combining up to thirteen strikes, that's only possible for old experts with many years of practice yet Xuanyuan achieved this as easy as breathing.
The combination of thirteen Sword strikes were terrifying. The individual strikes are already powerful talkless of the combination of thirteen.
Once the strike collided with the shields of the tanks, extermination followed as the tanks fell even while being focused on by the Healers.
The sword light continued on its way towards the backlines and killed many before dissipating. This time though, the players from Heaven will legion had already lost the will to fight.
"Run!" No one know who shouted but once it came, the players began running with their foot hitting their heads as they fled not daring to stay for a moment longer. If word get out that the mighty Heaven will legion were terrified to the point of fleeing from a single player, they'd lose all their reputations!
Xuanyuan calmly unsheathed his Sword as he watched them flee without chasing them. They had already been deeply traumatized by him so it's good to leave them alone.
Xuanyuan turned back to face the nine after the players from Heaven will had left.
The nine gazed at Xuanyuan with mixed feelings especially Divine Shieldbearer. He'd been opposed to following Xuanyuan and even labeled him a hacker but now he escaped a disastrous situation thanks to that hacking.
The silence between them continued until Shadow Empress broke it by saying:
"We failed you"
Xuanyuan chuckled lightly before saying: "Follow me" and walked towards a random direction...
"Are you accepting us as your followers?" Shadow Empress asked ecstatically.
Xuanyuan didn't reply but asked instead:
"What do you think of the Realm of spirituality?" He asked.
"Realistic, exciting and mysterious" Shadow Empress described the game with three words.
"Realistic you say but do you and every other player follow that term?" Xuanyuan asked just as they entered a level 60 leveling region that houses level 50-65 Goblins.
"Have you ever thought of adventuring in game just like living in the real world?" He asked again.
Shadow Empress had a clueless expression on her face as she gazed at her teammates who wore similar expressions. They had no idea what Xuanyuan was getting at with his questions.
Just then, a party of level 55 Goblins attacked them.
HP: 55000...
Shadow Empress and the others reacts instantly and defended he attacks of the Goblins.
With Divine Shieldbearer and Snow Titan as the MTs, and Pure Spring as the Healing unit. The rest were damage dealers.
After fighting for about five minutes, they cleared the monster wave without any casuality whatsoever.
"In game, you play under the system's assistance, your usage of skills and spells are all within the system's control. Is that the same in the real world?" Xuanyuan continued as they went forward.
The nine following him nodded in understanding as they now had a slight idea of what Xuanyuan was trying to make them understand but they were still doubtful.
"Watch me" Xuanyuan muttered as he stepped forward with his Silver ranked Runic Sword unsheathed and attacked the Goblins nearest to him.
