A sigh escaped from the gradient haired teenager as he swiftly cuts down the spring onions. He had a blush on his face as he tried to remember what happened last night.
He swore that he slept downstairs while letting Riro to sleep in the bedroom. However, when he woke up today, he had found himself sleeping in the same bed as her again. He genuinely couldn't remember waking up late at night to enter the bedroom himself and even if he did, he was so sure that Riro would lock the bedroom door because that's what he would do before going to bed.
He rubbed the side of his head as he couldn't believe himself sneaking into a girl's room nor does he thinks that Riro would've carried him to the bedroom in his sleep herself. It was embarrassing enough to be carried and it only gets worse when it was a girl who had brought him upstairs.
He sighed heavily as he focused on making breakfast for two, "Let's try making fried rice with scrambled eggs, it should taste alright with the recipe I looked up in the internet."
He opened the fridge to find his favoured carton of strawberry milk had gone missing, did she take it? He thought as he shook his head twice, "Pretty sure she likes it too... that means I need four cartons' worth to buy later this evening."
He heard footsteps climbing down the stairs, he then was greeted by a voice from behind him, "Morning."
"Morning, sister.", he greeted her without facing his back.
He then spoke out to her, "You like strawberry too?"
She nodded with a hum, "Hm, I do. I forgot to tell you that last night's carton was expired yesterday."
Rirota frowned sadly, she found his saddened look quite cute, "Guess I gotta buy another."
"...Yeah.", she replied in a more lighter tone. She sounded happy for some reason. He thought to himself.
They then finished their breakfast and got ready before heading out to school.
Cold Ridgea High, a public school with an outstanding reputation in the country of the same name, Ridgea. It is said that the school was established at the end of the Magic era of the past, which meant that nowadays, no one alive have the ability to cast magic. Which was both a sad fate to the strongest era the humanity ever had and the beginning of the weakest era of the magic absence which replaced magic with advanced modern technology.
"Hey, you're seeing that?", one of the male students of Cold Ridgea High spoke to one of his friends.
Friend B nodded their head, gulping at the sight of the two gradient haired twins walking toward the school entrance with them.
"T-Those two are twins, right? The power twins, both smart and athletic.", he stammered as Friend C agreed with a hum.
"Hm-hm, but I heard a rumour that these two are like true son and daughter of a mob boss."
Friend A gave a start, "You serious? I'd believe that if I haven't heard about them being delinquents that beat up mean people!"
Friend B nodded with his reason, "I saw the guy beat up a gangster before, he's really ruthless."
Friend C gulped out of fear, "L-let's not speak of this anymore, I don't want to be beat up by them. They're scary!"
The other two friends of his nodded respectively, simultaneously agreeing with his words.
Meanwhile, Rirota and Riro entered their classroom, 3A, and caught a dilemma. There were multiple empty seats in the classroom than the average classroom would have in their own worlds.
Rirota sighed as he placed his bag at the usual spot he used to sit down during class, right next to the doors. He then glanced at the second empty seat being taken by Riro, who had the same idea as him.
They do have a similar life before all of this happen to them. Both of them let out a small sigh and a chuckle before facing the entirety of the classroom, scanning their surroundings as they noted two desks per spaces. Something like this was a new phenomenon for the both of them as they all know that the tables for students per classroom usually only occupy 20-30 students. Now it's doubled and their classroom looked wider than the usual.
More students walked into their classroom, mostly through the back doors of the classroom as they were afraid of both Rirota's presences if they were to casually waltz in front of them.
Rirota sighed lightly as he relaxed his back to take out his phone. He did a quick side glance to his left and found Riro doing the same action as his. He wondered what was she reading only to feel a buzz on his hand.
It was a message he received from Riro, he noticed her eyes and nodded before checking the message.
'Let's experiment with something.'
Rirota smirked arrogantly, [Oh, seems like you're thinking about this situation first. Very well, I think I know what she's got in her mind.]
He then typed his reply, 'Let me guess, morning roll call?'
He looked to his side to find her eyes brightening up, he was correct.
'Yep, I'll check the teacher's desk now and find any duplicated names or what's what.'
"Hm.", he hummed as he watched her stand up to head for the empty teacher's desk. He then glanced into his phone for time, 8:45am, 15 more minutes before class session begins.
Riro grabbed a paper from the desk and had her eyes kept on the list for a minute until she found something and muttered out a single name loud enough to catch Rirota's attention, "Virgil von Krieger... still absent.", her eyes caught the attention of the students in the classroom, she sighed as she put down the paper where it was.
Rirota sighed as he knew who Virgil von Krieger was. A once a bright student in the school until he turned toward violence by being a delinquent. He stood up and left the classroom.
Riro followed behind him, knowing full well what he was going to do. She didn't notice any other names being duplicates from the list of their classroom, with the obvious exception of her, no, their name, Rirota Xalysia.
A tired sigh escaped from one of the students inside of the classroom.
"Phew, that pressure was ungodly, how can a beautiful girl's glare be that intent?"
"Shush, what if she comes back with her brother to beat you up?"
He shrieked terrified of his potential demise, "My lips are sealed!!"
A sigh escaped from a girl sat in the middle of the classroom, "...I hope you two don't get in big trouble with those Virgils..."
