A loud scream that would pierce the ear drum of all that were around to hear it except there wasn't one. The only person to hear was the one who let out the devastating scream and after death answer them swiftly. Life arose from the newly dead and a smaller more wimpy screech began. The life of a someone who would come to hate everything.
A boy filled with wonder and curiosity raised by his dad (Leon Richard). Barton J. Richards dad would come to his room at exactly 7 almost every morning and say "Come on champ. You wouldn't want to be late for school." He started his day with water and one boiled egg. He would walk 2 miles to and from school just to go to a place fill with horrible rumors about him. Their was one person, a bully named Paul, who would never failed to tell him a new rumor about Barton. Paul would always come to barton every school day saying "Hey Bart. I heard a new story today." He would being the story with some thing like " I heard that you kill in your past life…." but he never got to finish before Barton would leave. Of course Barton never wanted to hear the new stories he or someone else made about him, so he would always go and hide in the bathrooms or walked the halls until someone told him to go back to his class.
Teachers that would see him would always ask him "Is something wrong." He would look up to them with their neutral demeanor and fake concerned faces and answer them "everything is great because nothing is." Puzzled the teachers would ask him to explain to them his feelings better so they may understand but he would only shut himself away.
The weekend came by and Leon, Barton's dad, came to his room where he stayed most that Saturday. "Hey champ, you holding on" Barton's dad asked. "You're teachers are telling me that you're a good kid but quiet. So quiet that they are afraid of you're home life and you're school life. You know I'm not one to make you uncomfortable but I must ask if you are being bullied or if you think I'm failing you as a parent?"
Barton exclaimed, "No, you could never be a bad dad and physically I am ok."
"How come you are not participating in your classes. You are not failing but you're just above passing. The teachers tell me they try to talk to you but you refuse to listen and refuse to tell them what's going on with you. Why? At least could you explain it to me?"
Barton pause for a few seconds then proceed, "The other students make fun of me. I simply refuse to listen to them anymore. Everyone has it out for me I just know it. I can see in their faces sneer and cringing upon seeing me."
Leon ask very worriedly "Has any of them stuck there hand out to befriend you, even once?"
"No, not of my knowledge."
"Have you talked to them."
"No."
"So then you are refusing to let them. Promise me that you will try to talk to the ones who make you uncomfortable. I will hold off on one of my payments and make sure you have the the best week starting this Monday."
Barton visibly worried said "Dad don't anger them. I don't won't to see you get hurt again."
Leon laughed and said "You don't have to worry about your dad. You just promise me that you'll try to make friend this school week."
Barton starred at him for a second and say "Okay but If you promise you'll stay safe dealing with them."
Leon smiles and said "Okay will do champ."
Barton still worried said "Okay I promise."
