Chapter 1 - Just another bounty

Mercenary Han, our leader, took us, his apprentices, to a far-off planet to chase down a bounty. Our job was clear: find a Centaurian from Proxima Centauri D, and learn about the hidden powers in our galaxy.

In Aber Valley, we finally found our target. "Look, there's the Centaurian," Han pointed out, speaking with a strong and experienced voice.

"He has weapons," Rock warned us, eyeing the alien carefully.

"And I can feel he has cyber powers to move the earth," Ester added, using her psychic abilities.

I was surprised and couldn't help but joke about it. "So that's a Centaurian? I thought they'd look more like something from a fantasy story. This guy just looks like an alien in a fancy suit." I laughed, but I was really just covering up for my lack of experience.

"It's a Centaurian, not a fantasy creature. They come from Proxima Centauri D, and this one has a 200,000 universal coin bounty," Han corrected me, reminding me to be more serious. "That's why you need to come to our meetings on time."

Embarrassed, I tried to shift the focus back to the mission. "Alright, alright. Let's just catch this guy and get those 200,000 coins," I said, feeling the pressure to prove myself.

"But we need to be careful. If the space marines find out, we're in big trouble," Han warned.

"I get it. We'll do this quietly and leave no trace," I promised.

"Some say this Centaurian is spying for Gaaz," Han shared, his voice serious.

"Gaaz? That's just a story," I argued, not believing it.

"We'll find out. We need to talk to him and hear his side. We don't hunt innocent people," Han said, making his stance clear.

He sent Ester and me to make sure no alarms were raised. We took down the three guards near the antenna without them noticing. Ester used her psychic powers to read their thoughts and help us plan our attack.

"Man, this is so boring. Nothing's happening. Maybe I'll smoke," one guard thought, moving away from the others. We grabbed him and put a jammer on the antenna's control box.

The other guards noticed and started shooting at us. I dodged the bullets while Ester used her psychic powers to deflect them. "Haha, look at us! We're blocking bullets with our swords," I shouted, impressed with our skills. Ester was getting tired from using her powers, but we kept fighting.

We finally beat the guards, but we couldn't get into the spaceship. We needed to find Han, but he wasn't at our meeting point. Instead, we found drops of blood.

"He's hurt," I realized, worried.

We decided to follow the blood trail, hoping it would lead us to him. After a tense search, we found Rock, injured but healing thanks to his special powers.

"I'm hurt, but I'm healing," he assured us, showing his wound.

"Is it bad?" I asked, concerned.

"It's not too bad. But we need to focus on the bounty," Rock urged us, trying to keep us on track.

We followed him up a mountain, and then heard loud noises from below. Han and the Centaurian were fighting. Rocks were flying, and Han was using his magic to dodge and attack.

"What do you want from me? I don't know anything," the Centaurian shouted.

"I don't believe you," Han replied, attacking with all his might.

He managed to hurt the Centaurian badly. We rushed to the alien's side to hear his final words.

"My boss won't let this go. They show me the future," he gasped out.

"How are you talking to them?" I asked, but he was already gone.

"Those were some creepy last words," I remarked, shaken.

"It doesn't matter. We need to stay strong and keep fighting, no matter what," Han said, determined.

We called Mr. Goro, the detective who gave us the bounty, and showed him the Centaurian's body. He thanked us for completing the mission.
