I had a million questions. Something told me Rory wasn't just named after her mother out of personal preference. I'd heard of children being named after their parents but they would have a different middle name or surname, or their parent's name would be the middle name while they had a different first name.
What bugged me was…Rory had no middle name. At least she didn't that one time when I took a glance at her medical records. Why did I feel this was one of those instances where the parent lives on through the child?
Not that it was any of my business, but I was so damn curious.
I wanted to ask more about it. There was only one way to get rid of the curiosity eating at me. But when I looked at Tristan and saw the look in his eyes, I dropped that thought. He had a stern 'don't you dare ask anything else' written all over his face.
