Last night felt like dream, I almost couldn't believe it really had happened if it wasn't for pics at my gallery. I don't even know if we could call it a date, it didn't end like it. Oh well, at least we ended on a good note.
Heading out to the common room, I can hear a commotion brewing, the entire class is huddle up, with Bakugou and Midoriya facing the crowd like it's a public execution. Oh boy, it seems I wasn't wrong after all, the lightshow me and Itsuka saw at the training grounds wasn't a celebration as I've hoped, those two idiots really went at each other's throats yesterday night.
Their punishment? House arrest. Three days detention for Midoriya, four for Bakugou, as well as having to clean the entire dorm. Honestly? I expected worse from Aizawa-sensei, but I guess he's giving a break to Bakugou, dude was just kidnapped after all.
I can't help but feel bad for Midoriya, I suspect the poor lad just wants to be recognized and ends up in trouble. Bakugou? He can scrub the entire grounds for all I care, a part of me feels delight at the thought of him on cleaning duty, and I'm sure I am not the only one.
"So you guys were really fighting. I can't believe these two."
It's scolding time from the rest of the class, Ilda is livid, Monoma's satisfaction can't be held.
...
We are heading out to class, single file for the cerimony, it doesn't take long before we encounter the scourge of the hero course, Monoma.
"So, I've heard, class A... TWO PEOPLE! You had two people fail the provisional license!"
Unsurprisingly, the news reached this maggot's ear, all the fuel he needed to mock our class. Todoroki is clearly feeling bad about the "situation" he got the class in and all I want to do is give him a hug.
"So? Were you also the only one to fail again?" Kirishima tried to retort.
"We..."
He stop dead on his tracks before revealing the worst news possible.
"...ALL passed! We got ahead of you, Class A."
It's the end of the world. Well, not actually.
The rest of class B appears, I'm grateful they aren't like this ameba. But the one I really want to see is right behind him. I guessed correctly, she's even more beautiful by day. Kendo has her default "sick of your crap" face at Monoma, he takes a while before noticing me. A posture correction and not making eye contact makes me wonder if I did everything right last night, or if she's not used to show 'that' side with her colleagues around.
"According to teacher Vlad, we will have class together this semester." This one speaking in broken japanese is Tsunotori Pony, like me and Aoyama, she too is an exchange student, American from her accent.
"I will kick your ass so bad you won't be able to get up!" Those words may have come from her mouth, but the words are clearly from the despicable worm.
Thankfully my last night company already took care of it by knocking him out cold. Her usual apologetic look towards me as always.
Between that and a buffed Shinso (Aizawa's forgotten child) coming in, we head to the cerimony.
...
The cerimony is rather boring, not going to lie, aside from Hound Dog-sensei... words, which were growling mumbling sounds, gently translated by Vlad-sensei. Basically, he talked about the fight of the two delinquents. Principal Nezu's words of advice made me reflect on what the future had stored in for us.
We headed back to class, I can't help but wonder which new types of classes we would get.
...
Back to class, Aizawa-sensei starts to explain the hero studies aforementioned by Principal Nezu, Tsu, much like many, were curious what he meant by it.
External hero activities: Just like the interships supervised by pro heroes, only for real.
So why make the effort to stand out at the Sports Festival? Simple, hero studies utilize the Festival's information as conections. In this format, even those students who weren't able to perform great have the opportunity. Nice setup.
Aizawa-sensei concludes by saying the method is still being reviewed since so many first years passed their provisional licenses.
With that, Mic-sensei comes in for our english classes. It's going to be a breeze since I'm already fluent.
...
I expected the majority of them would struggle with the advanced classes, but they look like they just came back from the training camp.
We're back at the dorms, Bakugou is getting teased by Mineta and Sero while Midoriya got promptly ignored, our teachers prohibited us from telling them about the work studies.
I feel bad for Midoriya, Bakugou not so much. Still, I don't know why but it just feels wrong to not check out on him.
"How are you doing, Blasty?" Maybe a indifferent approach may help this time around.
"Eat shit and die, Sparky." I was wrong, he didn't even had the courtesy to stop and offend, straight up went away. Oh well, I tried, but something tells me I will be trying again, this dude has issues that I feel it can be worked if he just opened up more. May talk to Kirishima later about it.
A unique text message notification pops up, letting me know who it is.
"Sorry for Monoma... Again... And sorry for being a bit distant since yesterday. I think some of my girl friends have suspicions."
Is suspicion bad? I think to myself. Maybe it is for the japanese.
"Don't worry, I understand. So long as our next one doesn't take too long."
I feel like I should not let... Whatever this is... fade away.
"Little anxious, are we? Lol, it won't, I promisse."
Hell yeah I am anxious, letting me here to guess if I did right or wrong is anguishing.
...
"Sorry for the trouble I've caused! I promisse to catch up to classes!" It's been three days, Midoriya suffering came to an end after his suspension ended, his heartfelt apology is welcome, I have seen how bad it was to be left behind. As he came back to class, Aizawa-sensei gave us more details about the work studies.
"Please, enter." He gestured to door and in stepped three figures who immediately commanded the room's attention.
"Today, you'll be learning firsthand what it takes to be at the top. Meet the top 3 students of U.A. The Big Three."
Season 4 ends.
