-Narrator's POV-
As Kaminari destroyed waves of robots, through monitors and video footage, U.A teachers observed with great care each and every student throughout the Test Grounds, prominent heroes like All Might himself, Eraser Head, Midnight were alongside a curious figure: A talking, white rodent creature dressed in a suit was watching avidly all screens. This cutsy sentient being was none other than Nezu, the Principal of U.A High School, a rare sight of an animal that manifested a quirk, his being "High Spec", very useful quirk that grants him very high inteligence.
All eyes were on Izuku Midoriya's feat of defeating the big robot, others were chatting about how diverse many quirks were. "This foreign student is certainly effective at maximizing his strength through his quirk" Cementoss spoke, grasping everyone's attention "Kinda reminds me of Endeavour, the way he enhances his body properties with such powerful quirk" Vlad King continued. "What do we know about him?" Snipe asked.
Eraser Head with the maximum effort he could muster brought foward Kaminari's file, dragging it foward to Snipe with no intentions of participating in human interactions. Snipe awkwardly picked up the file and started to read it:
"Kaminari, Raio; Quirk: Electrokinesis, the ability to generate, shape and manipulate eletricity... Huh, this is strange, the thunder-like sound generated from that punch made me presume his quirk was related with lightining, not generic electricity..." Snipe stopped and wondered if his analisys was wrong.
"That collar is a limiter..." Nezu interceded. "This is off the records, his father is the renowed hero Thunderstorm Hero: Supercell, now retired." All heroes looked surprised at this new information. Nezu continued "An... undisclosed event involving Kaminari and his siblings ended with the death of his youngest sister, Ana, and the disappearence of his middle brother. This incident caused Supercell to formally ask U.A to train his son. The collar was created at Raio's request to purposefully suppress his Quirk so he couldn't have... Accidental discharges. This information is classified." he paused to take a sip of his tea. "The boy feels responsible for the incident, it scarred him down to his very core, it's our job as U.A teachers to help him achieve his goals."
Eraser Head was listening as was All Might, they gave each other a subtle nod as both redirected their attention at Snipe who continued to read the rest of Kaminari's file. "Moving on... [...] As an elemental-type quirk, it's very simple and straightforward accompanied with a near-limitless myriad of uses. He is able to discharge large amounts of electricity in order to shock their opponents. May accidentally harm allies if the control over electricity is not precise enough. For close-combat situations only, unreliable at mid-to-long range distances."
"So he can't invoke nor shoot lightning from his fingertips?" Aizawa muttered.
"Good thing the boy doesn't have unlimited power." Midnight spoke sarcastically, much to his annoyance. "Young Kaminari is indeed a prodigy." All Might finally spoke, having setting aside his worries for Midoriya. "It will be wonderful to see this next generation of younglings in action."
"Let's move foward, shall we? Those are his final results:" Nezu moved on to show the scoreboard.

"One point shy from the 1st place." Vlad King concludes.

-Kaminari's POV-
The next week arrived sooner than I expected, not gonna lie.
Soon as I get up the U.A letter finally arrived, I can't wait to hear about how I went and tell Mom and Dad. I sit down on the kitchen table and open the letter.
"I AM HERE AS A PROJECTION!" A hologram of none other than All Might screams at me, much to my annoyance as I drop my breakfast on the floor. "I came here to this town to work at U.A!" It really felt like he was in the same room talking directly at me, felt good to have such an awesome Hero like him being my teacher.
"I came here to annouce that you've flawless passed your written exam with the top score of 100! A most impressive feat!" I'm actually shocked at this, I didn't imagine I could even get close to ace the test. "AND!" he startled me again. "You have also got the SECOND highest score with 66 Villain Points, as well as an awesome score of 10 Rescue Points!" I kinda knew I did well but I expected a 5th place. "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE PASSED YOUR ENTRANCE EXAM!" The transmission ends, an overwhelming feeling of happiness gets me weak on the knees, I almost forgot what it felt like. Ana was right with us at the table watching as her favorite hero, All Might, was congratulating her Big brother into his school! We celebrated by watching her favorite cartoon.
Mustered the courage to call Mother and tell her the great news, her big boy was gonna be a hero! I go to bed as she couldn't answer the phone, maybe she had a tiresome day, I hope. Dad sent a "good job" message, it felt good.
I looked at the scoreboard one more time, Katsuki Bakugo was the one who got 1st place with 0 Rescue Points, I remember him, the blondie with explosions, the one who named the Deku guy Deku, I look into the other ranks. Uraraka Ochaco -Floatie girl- at 4th place, Ilda Tenya -Stern Glasses guy- at 7th, Deku guy- oh... His name is Midoriya Izuku, not Deku- at 8th with no Villain Points. The rest didn't stand out for me to remember.
I'm genuinelly happy for this Midoriya guy, he managed to get in despite only saving one person, he must be crying rivers about now. In the end, passing in the entrance exam was indeed the better choice, Dad wanted me to enter through Recommendation Entrance, but that wasn't gonna happen. I'm no better than anyone because my Family has prestige and influence, it was only fair I took the exam like anyone else.
I wave Ana good night before resting her at the table. I'm in U.A and now it begins, the beginning of her dream through me.
