Later on, we had come to realize that our excessive lust for the power the celestials held would lead to our own downfall, so we instead tried to make peace with them.
But as you can imagine some of us still longed for the power, they possessed but they could not voice there thought as a law had been created in place against angering the celestials.
And so, we lived our lives in peace as those who plotted stood in the shadows and by the time, we had noticed it was too late.
A new group who had been in the dark had infiltrated our ranks and tried to destroy us from within.
They called themselves the 'Acranes', they were a religious group of some sort they had devoted themselves to a dark celestial named 'Azaroth'.
The had opened a rift in hopes of inviting Azaroth unto our plane and unfortunately for us they succeded, celestials could not make direct contact upon the world so they created what we called apostles.
Apostles were sentient beings who had offered their bodies to the celestial for a portion of its power, most of them were mindless slaves who only followed the wishes of their celestial.
But on rare occasions the celestial could actually descend to take possession of the apostle but the long they stayed the longer the backlash from the will of the universe.
When the acranes opened the rift monster descend unto our world before causing panic and disorder but we responded in kind as we wiped out any monster in our path.
The acranes in our ranks had used that opportunity to open a rift in our headquarters, normally that would have been a very foolish decision as only the strongest were stationed at the headquarters.
But what came out from the rifts was beyond our comprehension, we saw a being capable of wielding the power of the celestials.
It was our first encounter with an apostle, we been were slaughtered as he killed people with just a swing of his hand.
Knowing we could not win many tried opening rifts to flee to another dimension but the acranes at the scene closed each portal opened stopping us from escaping.
In a situation where we couldn't win and can't run the only options was to fight, we fought with all our strength as we tried to kill as many acranes as we could before dying.
As the sole defenders of our planet, we knew this was the end of our specie as we void walkers made just twenty percent our population, there was roughly around a hundred thousand void walker.
With a population so small even if we were powerful, we bound to be wiped out at some point, knowing all this I could only watch as my brothers and sisters were been slaughtered.
There was one thing I could try to do in that situation and was to try void walking alone, it was basically suicide as the energy needed to accomplish that feat was nearly impossible to acquire for a single person.
It was said to never try void walking alone as the result was either death or worse, getting stuck in limbo.
Limbo is a locked dimension located outside of space and time, after getting into limbo there is no way out.
Gathering world's energy form the atmosphere I compressed it into my body before overloaded it my own energy to create a mini explosion of pure energy in a condensed form.
The downside of doing any of doing this wrong was that there was a slight chance of me disintegrating, that is if I don't explode first.
Focusing on the task at hand I channeled all the energy towards my heart as I immediately coughed out blood, but that was the least of my concern as space and time started to bend around me as I focused on the dimension I wanted to travel to.
Looking at my fallen brothers and sisters, I vowed to take revenge on the celestial that caused the extinction of my species at a vanished from my position.

Arriving in the dimension, I immediately slumped unto the ground as coughed up more blood, my vision started to darken as I laid on a grassy plane, looking up I saw two different coloured moon right before I passed out.
Waking up I was greeted with the most beautiful face I had since, but upon remembering everything that happened before I got there, I grunt my teeth as I tried to standup but fell right back down as I to weak to even move.
Looking at my desperate situation the celestial named Evia said, "Don't try to move it will only worsen your conditions".
Hearing her speak I couldn't help but feel a slight hatred towards her as it her race that had destroyed mine, noticing the hatred in my eyes as I looked at her, she said
"I see you feel hatred towards me or is it to my race, but whatever the case you should know I do not take threats kindly even if you are no threat and will likely never be one", pausing she continued
"But since you are in my domain, I can't just watch you die, traveler".
After that day years passed as I was introduced to the specie of that world. They looked exactly like Evia, but that wasn't a surprise as she took a member of their specie as an apostle.
Over the years as I lived among them, I had gotten to know a lot about the celestial that destroyed my home world.
It turns out my world wasn't the first to fall to his attack, and wasn't going to be the last.
Azaroth had found a way to conquer other dimensions by killing other celestials, even if he wasn't part of the strongest celestials his power was growing by the minute.
And it would seem like I had lost my power of void walk, even if I still had my innate abilities I couldn't travel to other planes.
Seeing as I had no way accomplishing my revenge, went into a feat of depression as I wasted my days drinking myself to sleep as I still had nightmares of that day.
Evia would come to see me from time to time, as she helped me forget about my worries by telling tales of her world and her journey as a celestial.
Even if it was for a brief period each day, It helped me forget about my worries and misfortune.
Later on, I became an advisor for the elf's the dominate specie of the planet as the vast knowledge I had gathered in my lifetime helped them to advance their civilization.
I lived my remaining years liked that before dying a little while after, it turns out that was a side effect of solo void walking, the lifespan of the use is drained excessively.

Kaiser's expression had changed a lot during void's tale, it was to much information for someone to digest at once.
He basically just told him that they were bigger threats that laid within the dark that no one was capable of facing, kaiser had a lot of different thoughts going through his mind.
What if an apostle came to earth, What are true goals of the celestials, What would happen to his family.
All these thoughts evaded his mind but the one thing he knew right at that moment was that he needed to be strong, stronger his peers, stronger than the conquerors, hell even stronger than the celestials if possible.
A fire had been lit up in kaiser's heart as he determination flared up before looking towards void saying
"I'm ready"
Void closed is radiant violet eyes as he said
"I must warn you this is going to be the most excruciating pain you've felt".
Kaiser smiled before replying
"Don't worry I have never felt p…", kaiser couldn't even complete his sentence as jolt of pain washed over him.
For someone who had never felt pain this was the worst kind torture you could give them, kaiser had zero pain tolerance the pain was ten times what someone should have felt.
His mind went blank as he was about to pass out which he thought would be but hearing void's voice he immediately decided against it as void said
"If you lose consciousness, you will die"
Kaiser could only grunt his teeth and pray this would be over, but it was far from it as all the cells in his body were constantly been destroyed and recreated over and over again.
Normally anyone who was normal would have lost their mind because of the pain but kaiser's will to survive was so high it surpassed veteran soldiers.
The only reason kaiser even felt the pain was because the procedure linked the body and the soul, so whatever was felt in either of the two would be transferred to the owner's consciousness.
6 hours later ...
Kaiser was no longer in the garden as void couldn't maintain his power since it was all being sent to kaiser so they were back in the endless darkness were they first met.
Kaiser stood still as he floated in the darkness, the pain he was feeling had just ended.
Staring ahead he looked at void who look vanishing from the space as the dark mist around his body dispersed.
Void looked at the boy right in front of him, he didn't tell kaiser but the moment of his awakening he had seen all his memories, he knew what kaiser had gone through and he had found happiness with his family.
As void was about to say something he heard kaiser say
"Thank you, when get to the top I promise to avenge you and your people".
Void smiled as slightly but it couldn't be seen because of the black mist as he said
"when you get to the top, COME AND FIND ME".
Hearing what void said, kaiser was stunned as he asked
"What do mea…", before he could complete his sentence ejected from the space as his returned to his body.
Void body dispersed as only the endless darkness remained in the space just like it was at the start.
