To calm him down Hu'er immediately said, "The female seems to be suspicious. The beastman who promised her is also acting different."

Hu'er was stunned at first but calmed herself down. She now knew how important his Aunt is. "I just want you to think what you would feel if you are him."
Jia Ting was about to snap again but stop himself when he saw how calm Hu'er looks, He pursed his lips. He didn't speak.
Since he didn't speak, Hu'er told him what she thought about it, "He seems to be fascinated by that female."
Jia Ting understood what she meant. "Who is that female…? What tribe is she from?"

Madam Yun locked her in the courtyard where they are breeding feral cats. The cats are all in the cage. However, it's dark and eerie.
Little Huli Jing feels cold. Hugging herself hoping it will warm her. The night finally arrive and it just made it worse.
A sound of metal rang in a quiet room, Little Huli Jing looked in the direction where she heard it. But her eyes immediately snapped to the left side. Something moved but it was too swift and dark for her to see.
She knew that the possibility of a feral breaking the cage was low, but her body still felt chilled with the thought of it.
A sound of cat hissing sounded, which cause the other cat to wake up and start hissing too.
Little Huli Jing's eyes went wide. She looks around to see eyes glaring at her. A sob came out of her mouth. Her tears gushed out as she put her hands on her mouth stopping herself from sobbing.
But she noticed something was wrong. The eyes that were in front of her are getting nearer. She gasped. The cat's eyes are red. Its hair is all up. The cat seems to think that she is its prey.
It walked so slowly, not wanting to frighten its prey. Little Huli Jing stood up and ran toward the door, "Help!!!" She punched the door with all her might. Pushed it with all her strength.
But she heard something that made her look back. "Ah!!!"
The door opened and her body fell. Her head directly hit the ground making her dizzy.
Her eyes looked at the person who opened the door. Wanting to see who saved her.
It was Madam Yun. But before Little Huli Jing could even thank her, she heard her say, "Good job, Xiao He. You'll get some big fish later."
Her heart fell, she couldn't endure anymore. Little Huli Jing's eyes slowly closed. She wanted to fight and ask her why. But her strength didn't give her a chance to do so.
She heard Madam Yun ask someone, "Have you burned the book?"
"Yes." The one who answered was her servant. The one whom she bought, paid the salary, and treated well. The person who was close to her betrayed her.
She felt like dying. Her head hurts, her heart felt like bleeding, and she's so suffocated that the darkness seems to be embracing her.
"Hu'er…" a worried voice made her stop.
"Hu'er…" the male voice is calling someone. 'Who…?' Huli Jing asked.
"Hu'er wake up… Dada is here. Don't cry." The male's voice is full of love.
She… she wanted to be Hu'er… She wanted someone to love her, to care for her. She never felt that… She wanted to experience it but knows it was impossible. No one would do it, no one loves her.
"Hu'er… come back to Dada. Wake up, my baby…"
"Dada…" she muttered. It's very familiar. She didn't know why the word Dada made her feel so warm.
She wanted to open her eyes but it was too heavy. The word Dada kept on swirling in her mind, reminding her of something, 'Yes… I am Hu'er… It's my name… Dada… He—He is my father!"
"Hu'er!" Jiu Hu called her in panic.
Hu'er gasped as if she got out of the water and was saved from drowning. She looks at her Dada. He is crying. She blinked and held her face. 'I am crying.' She sniffed, her nose was sore.
Hu'er slowly put her hand on his cheeks and wiped his tear away. "Dada… I'm back…" and smiles at him weakly.
Those words broke through his body, he finally felt relieved and confirmed that Hu'er's pulse went back to normal. He hugged her. "Don't go back. Dada will be sad. Dada needs you."
