After a sleepless night traveling, the trio make thiere way to a small hidden bunker that Rollinda had previously used on her way to Dentech city. They took a three day rest and continued on their way to Halcyn city. A few hours later the trio managed to pull up to the city gates vehicle entry station. A few guardsmen stopped them before one of them came upto the driver side. [Guard] "Halt. State your group size, name, travel destination, cargo, and have your identifications ready." [Rollinda]"Okay two humans, the names are Kitamura Hiro and Hikari Rollinda. We are currently traveling to Ryussei Base and other than clothes food some spare parts and tools, a field kit, daily necessity some charts and map data, we have a P.E.T. device and a net-navi from Navi-Corp we need to deliver."
[Guard[ "Alright, step out of the hovercraft slowly and prepare to be verified." [Rollinda] "Got it." Rollinda cut off the engine and the hovercraft slowly rested on the ground. Then Rollinda and Hiro slowly exited the vehicle in full view of th guards. First they called Rollinda up and she used her PDA and brought up her personal information for the guards to verify. Then Navi651 brought up Hiro's information that she had set up for the initial set up for him to be able to carry her device. After a twenty minute wait they were clear to go through the X-Ray scanner. Due to Dr. Lights advanced knowledge and incredible foresight, Hiro Variable Armor system was able to fool the X-ray and metal detectors into thinking he was a normal human being. With that they preceded to make thier way to the train loading depot.
[ Rollinda] "Now we just have buy our tickets and to load my Hovercraft into the loading bay and we are off." [Hiro] "What we're not going to explore the town or anything?!" [Rollinda] "No! And I have three reasons why not, before you get to complaining!" [Hiro] "And they are..." [Rollinda] "For starters I need to hurry back home before either school starts or my bossy older brother finds out I left they city base area. Two, everytime you get the urge to explore, something always, always goes crazy. And finally I would like to have something go right for once." [Hiro] "And what's that supposed to mean huh?!"
[Rollinda] "Let's face facts, you are a trouble magnet." She says with her hands rubbing her temples of her head. [Navi651] "That doesn't make sense. But then again I find Hiro's very existence illogical as well." An imaginary sweat drop forms on the right side of Hiro's forehead. [Hiro] "Wow, both miss pot and mademoiselle kettle are calling me out. I can't catch a break." He mumbles to himself, before complying to Rollinda demands. Little did they know trouble was already aboard thier train. In the cyberspace a returning menace came back in a new form. [Train console] *BZZZZAAAAP* "WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! SECURITY BREACH BrEACh BReaCH..." [Sigma virus] "System taken over complete now then, what sort of trouble should I drum up today?"
After getting the passenger manifest and braking system under control, the sinister ploy is enacted. Twenty minutes later Rollinda and Hiro load up the hovercraft and trailer into the cargo bay. They then proceed to enter thier train carptment. [Hiro] "I'm bored. Hey Navi, got any new games installed on your device now?" [Navi651] "Unfortunately no, but there should be a hard light terminal and VR heads set stored in the over head." [Hiro] "Thank for the heads up!" He then begins to reach for said device. The train began to start moving. The game Hiro was playing was a motorcycle racer. After thirty minutes of playing, 'twenty five minutes of which was him crashing into things or things crashing into him' he finally hit his stride.
While this was going on they train was slowly picking up speed. Going pass the standard 35 mph ramping closer to 40 then 45 and 50. When it reached 75 that is when everyone on board knew something was going on. Except Hiro who was still playing his game and was distracted. Rollinda had enough and pulled the proverbial plug on his gaming. [Hiro] "Hey! What was that for?!" Indignantly question. [Rollinda] "Hiro, we have a slight problem." [Hiro] "So what is it now?" He ask slightly pouty. [Rollinda] "yeah, it's like this. The train we are on is supposed to start slowing down when we reach an area where it can pick up and drop of its passengers." [Hiro] "I know how trains work. Get to the point."
[Rollinda] "Fine, we are about to reach a train station, and we aren't slowing down. In fact we are picking up speed. So I need you to go do whatever it is you need to do to go into cyberspace and check it out." [Hiro] "Now who is the trouble magnet?" [Rollinda] "Ugh! Less sass and more moving." [Hiro] "Yeah, yeah. I'm on it. Just need to find a quite place with a terminal nearby." He gets up off his seat and begins to search. After a short while he finds a terminal near a stewardess station. He pull the curtain ro conceal himself before saying.
[Hiro] "Mega-Man transmission set and upload!" In a flash of light he disappeared leaving nothing behind. When his eyes open in the cyberspace, he is greeted with the sight of a train flat beds train cars ,cargo container and rail tracks. Music plays [Through Traffic-Sonic Riders Zero Gravity] Hiro makes his way through the train cars. [Mettaur] "Met Met Mettaur!" Hiro smirks .[Hiro] "A wild Mettaur challenges you to battle, what do you do? [Fight] [Items] [Equip] [Run]" One plasma blast later. [Hiro] "...yeah, what else was I expecting." After several battles with a few Mettaurs, Hiro comes across a train with several train car on a rail getting ready to move.
He runs to it an barely gets on the last train car. Then climbs too the roof because the passenger tain car is locked. The sight the greets him is several flat bed train cars with a dozen of Mettaur and a few Beetanks each. The train car right before the engine has a large particle canon facing towards the rear charging. The music intensity increases. [Hiro] "Not good." Hiro jumps into the fray make his way car by car to the canon. Dodging five shots from the fully charge canon. [Hiro] "Huff...huff two more and finally I can get to that canon. Alright, let's go!" After demoliting the enemies on the next cart. He comes across the last flat bed that had a total of 16. [Mettaur] "Meeeettt-tttaaaauuuur!!!!!" They began to fuse together. [Swordy] "Sword!" [Hiro] "Okay let's get this over with." The enemy sword user lifts up his sword into the air. Then suddenly swings it down in the direction of Hiro. A blade of energy rockets at his direction forcing Hiro to dodge.
[Hiro] "Whoa! Thay was too close." The swordy begins to repeat his actions. This time Hiro fires at him forcing the digital enemy to dodge. This pattern repeated for several exchanges before Hiro close the distance and got the kill shot to end it. With the enemy program turning into pixels an scatter apart as they were being deleted. The digitized warrior charged his weapon and fired six rounds at the particle disabling it indefinitely. He then made his way to the top of the engine. [Hiro] "Oh man! Not this again!" The train was approaching another moving train car with a four more flat beds armed with three Swordies each. The music changes tempo into a climactic rush. And Hiro jumps onto the forward train ready to do battle once more.
Meanwhile in the real world things are also getting intense.the train intercom crackles and a voice begins to speak. [Sigma 6] "Greetings prisoners of my newly acquired mobile transport. I trust you are enjoying your ride?" [Rollinda] "...." [Sigma 6] " Allow me introduce myself. I am the one who has hijacked this train. I am know by many names and titles, but suffice to say you may refer me to my given moniker. The Sigma 6 virus. And the one being who has the power to decide whether or not your continued existence can either be prolonged suffering or pained and brutally cut short."
