Vampire Amnesia

Chapter 1

Christmas night, on the part's courtyards of Daitokuji Temple, Kyoto December 25, 1870.

Youth with blond haired by face looked cold, his right hand pointed at someone who was kneeling in front of him. His eyes were sharp like a hunter nailing a defenseless prey, without blinking.

The roar of the whirling wind carried the snowflakes formed a thin drizzle. A bone-chilling cold enveloped the temple grounds. Slowly descending mist couldn't disguise the whiteness of the snow.

"Nooo! Nooo!" A scream full of agony escaped from the pale lips of the black-haired youth who was on his knees. The voice cut through the dark night in the center of the temple grounds, beating the storm that was raging. The youth's eyes were red like a pair of twin flames, blazing with scorching pain.

The young man was unable to resist the invisible command that controlled his brain. His own will seemed to be locked by an invisible force. Despite wanting to, he was unable to prevent the order to kill that was dictated to him by the blonde man in front of him.

Not far from the young man, a pair of men and women were dying. Purple facial veins bulged out, clearly visible on the transparent facial skin of the man and woman. However, they tried not to make the slightest sound so that their son would not suffer more, even when the sound of bones cracking was heard from within the two of them, they remained silent.

They both steadfastly stared at the fallen youth sitting on their right. Both of them would rather suffer than see their son tormented watching his parents suffer. With all their might, the couple endured the heat that started to burn the body from within.

The young man who had black hair had the ability to attack without touching but that power was being controlled by the strange man in front of him to attack his own parents. He fell to his knees, his body shaking violently. The strong wind made part of his black hair cover his eyes. The young man couldn't scream anymore. His voice cords seemed to be burning with the pain he felt.

Meanwhile, at the last moment, the couple with difficulty intertwined their fingers. With the last of their strength they sent all their last strength towards their son, to protect him from the blonde stranger in front of them.

"Remember carefully! None of this is your fault! Forget everything. If possible, forget it for good. We love you very much," the woman said. The loving eyes of they both were the last gift for their son.

It happened so fast. Even the Blond who was standing near them was unable to block it as the faint mist released by the man and woman enveloped the black haired youth in front of him until he was unable to control the young man anymore.

The Blonde could no longer control the young man's mind to manipulate him. Angrily he could only look at the three of them in turn.

At the same time, they fell to the ground. As soon as the bodies of the man and woman touched the earth, the Black-haired Youth watched his parents burn and turn to ashes.

"I will definitely avenge this act of yours!" Before completely losing consciousness, the black haired youth hissed furiously at the Blonde who just shrugged his shoulders, now he was unable to touch or control the young man lying under his feet.

The protection released by the man and woman was truly powerful. Instead of protecting themselves, they apparently chose to give their last strength to their unconscious son.

After confirming that there was nothing else he could do, the blond haired youth with yellowish brown eyes sped away. Without a sound, two other figures who had been silent on his right and left immediately followed the young man.

That night, it was as if the universe could sense the sad event that had just taken place. The storm made the wind swirl and brought the snow around the young man's body flying to form a thin curtain.

"Young master! Young Master, wake up!" A moment later, a middle-aged man carefully shook the body of the youth before him.

Stanley, Idaho, September 2021

A girl who has a unique face, dominantly oriental, stands in front of a villa located in the middle of the Alice mountains, after she struggles to find a vehicle that take her to that place. There she was now, standing in front of the door of a seemingly empty villa, in the midst of a twilight shrouded in mist.

She is Bilbina Dawn. Hogan's only granddaughter. However, instead of showering her with grandfather-like affection for an only granddaughter, Hogan choose to lived far from his family and only visited them a few times when Bilbina was a teenager.

Now, Bilbina decides to let her grandfather realize that he still has a family. Bilbina will spend time with her grandfather, whether he agrees or not.

Bilbina was never late in getting gifts from her grandfather at every celebration or important school event. But, her memories of Hogan are fading as time goes by. She even almost forgot what her grandfather looked like.

That was why now she was trying so hard to see her grandfather, living with him when necessary. Bilbina was curious, what kind of far family did she have that managed to get her grandfather's loyalty completely to defeat her existence as the only granddaughter of the man.

By now, Bilbina had been standing for more than ten minutes and was knocking on the door in front of her with hands stiff from the cold. But, there is no sign that the householder will open the door for him, lest her grandfather is avoiding her.

During the trip, Bilbina had repeatedly made sure the address she was going to was correct, Hogan's address. The girl did not expect, her grandfather's address turned out to be a large villa that stood firmly in a secluded place, without any neighbors around. The mountains are private land.

Luckily, Bilbina met a taxi driver who wanted to take her to the Alice mountains area. Previously, she had been refused many times when she showed her destination address. Now she could understand why they all rejected her even though the tips she gave were not small. The place is really secluded.

The building that stood in front of her seemed to have emerged from a picture book she had often encountered in fairy tales. The house stood proudly in the midst of the wilderness.

The combination of brick red and dark brown dominates almost the entire house building. With wide windows that capture the view of the surrounding forest, the house seems to blend into the forest that surrounds it.

Again, the tall girl who has fair skin knocked loudly on the door, half banging on it. She almost froze from the cold.

Bilbina couldn't possibly return to the city. Dusk had started to fall, the surroundings were getting dark. The last rays of the sun trapped in the treetops faded as night fell.

The house before her was completely isolated. The taxi driver who took her, back immediately turned around as soon as Bilbina closed the car door. He did not heed Bilbina's request to wait a moment. As if not wanting to linger in that place.

"Are you trying to break my door!?" A flat and deep voice sounded threatening, stopping Bilbina's hand from knocking on the door for the umpteenth time.

A cold wind hit the skin of Bilbina's neck, which was not covered by the jacket, making her shiver. Slowly, Bilbina turned around.

The girl glared with her lips slightly parted.
