Staring at the red ice deer thing, glistening in the lights coming through the cave entrance. Lucras decided to prepare himself, as he felt different from the first few monsters, and now realizing that the snake felt the same except a lot weaker. As he looked toward the monster, he felt himself being weirdly calm as this monster seemed more dangerous than others he had seen.
Taking the small surprise the monster had seeing him, Lucras quickly inspected the monster.

Seeing its attack main attribute being blood, he felt something different inside of him. Realizing quickly that this was not the best place to battle since it was getting dark, and his stuff was in the way. Feeling his mind move and stress fill his being slightly, Lucras dashed forward. Getting closer and closer, he felt the aura of the deer better, and the insidious feeling it exuded.
The deer, initially surprised but now infuriated, quickly turned its horns towards the incoming Lucras as blood flowed down the horns. When Lucras was about to reach the deer and felt the fury the deer felt, he quickly moved around the deer and raced outside. The deer, unwilling to let is aggressor flee, followed quickly suit.
Taking a breath and calming himself down, Lucras prepared himself for his new battle. As he finally was getting a new look at the deer, he noticed that it was injured across his back, that looked to be made by claws. Blood seemed to pour down its crystalline skin, and appeared to wrap around its body and give the deer protection. He could see the organs of the deer as it moved its body and watched its blood flow through its red body.
Then Lucras heard Lucas's voice in his head as he told him, {{Try using mana sight, as blood is a tricky one as it is easy to sneak up on you.}} Worried about what Lucas said since he was usually very truthful about things, Lucras moved mana up to his eyes again. The sight that greeted him was of deep red sand twirling around the deer monster with light bits of blue mixed in. Shock filled him as he realizing that the blood mana had already surrounded him without him even feeling anything change.
Deciding that his enemy was far more dangerous than any other he had before, he started to come up with a battle plan in his mind of what to do. Looking at the already existing claw marks thorough out its back, he decided that that was the best place to attack and that he really needed to steer clear of those horns. Dread filled him as he looked at those blood-dripping horns, as he didn't want to figure out what they did.
Taking his sword, he prepared to dash forward as he looked toward the deer. Then he quickly sprinted towards the deer, faster than he had ever run before. Trying to come up to the side of the deer, he observed a disturbing change in the mana around him as it quickly gathered towards the deer. Deciding to "just fuck it", Lucras moved mana towards his sword as well, as warmth flowed towards it.
Taking about a fourth of his mana into his sword with the intent of finishing the fight quickly, his blade glowed slightly as he moved forward. While he was still sprinting full force, the deer began in rage to use its mana to end this little bugger that was annoying it. The blood that poured out of its wounds seemed to listen to its rage and quickly turned into small curved blades that shot toward Lucras.
Surprised to see blood used in that way, as he always thought it was used for like regeneration and not blood blades, Lucras quickly took a dive-and-roll approach to getting out of this precarious situation. Getting up from his dive and roll, Lucras charged again as he realized that if he let the deer remain in the distance, it would kill him.
The deer, now completely enraged due to the little fly still being around, decided to start unloading its arsenal on Lucras as it had had a terrible day already. On its way back from the mountain, it had run into a pack of wolf monsters that had successfully injured it with there numbers, and now when it was about to rest, a small creature appeared that made it feel strange. Deciding to take out all of its feeling Lucras, an assortment of blood blades, arrows, and whips appeared and struck towards Lucras.
Surprised, Lucras though out loud, "How could it waste so much mana? Like that seems like a waste." What surprised him as well was a voice that actually gave him information, as Ava replied, [[Blood magic is a weird higher tier magic. If it is imprinted blood, like your own blood, the mana use from it is decreased by a large factor. But if it is a neutral base, it takes in a few factors to tell the mana needed to manipulate the blood.]]
As Lucras heard this while dodging the barrage of new magical blood projectiles, he became more and more shocked about the potential of blood magic. He also realized why the deer found it easy to use the blood since the blood from these projectiles seemed to be exclusively from the deer. But he slowly started to notice something that could be great use to him, the deer was getting less and less red.
Realizing that the deer was losing more and more blood as it kept using its magic, Lucras asked Lucas if he could tell the approximate blood left in the beast in his inspection, and got this in response.

Finally happy for once in this fight, Lucras started to apply pressure to the deer monster to make it lose its blood faster. Coming in closer to the deer as it lost its mind as it repeatedly missed the small running monkey. Using his higher-than-average running speed to its fullest Lucras decided to increase the rate of blood flowing out of the deer.
Excited for something that he didn't know nor cared about, he raced in toward the blind side of the deer and slashed out with his sword. Making a new deep cut in the side of deer's leg, as blood swam gracefully down the leg of the deer. Seeing it again, after his bad initial reaction to blood and death, he strangely felt… good, and not like my day has been good type of good, but like seeing someone you hate get into… unfortunate circumstances.
The addicting sort of good that seemed into his bones, and gave him pleasures unimaginable as he felt goosebumps stem his skin. As he moved back he felt the blood around him feel good, like everything was right with it hanging in the air. An air of something sinister seemed to revolve around Lucras as he moved around deer, slightly terrifying the creature. Terrified that this little demon was releasing that sinister aura around it, it quickly drop its plan on killing it and just decided to run.
But how could Lucras let that slide, as the beast's blood still felt so sweet. Racing after it, Lucras switched from small insignificant slashes to deep stabs to draw the most blood out. Seeing the little demon come closer, the deer quickly switched gears and activated its ice magic to protect itself. Reddened ice grew quickly around the body of the deer as it slowed down. But in terror, the blade of the little demon seemed to glow giving it a dangerous feeling, as it pierced through its armor sticking into its back leg.
Tripping and falling the deer turned itself slightly allowing it to land in a way that allowed it to sit, as large portions of mana bellowed out of it creating a large wall of ice that blocked Lucras from his prey.
Seeing the large block of mana ice block him, Lucras in a blood fueled rage, decided to slice open the barrier with half of his mana using his [Mana slice] ability. Taking a step back, as he felt warmth once again flow towards his sword, he striked forward and successfully broke though the other side of the ice. A vague feeling of tiredness filled his head, which he ignored as his goal was so close. Taking his already mana charged sword, he again striked downwardly, creating a cross shape, before punching in the ice.
On the inside, he saw his prize, laying on the ground sideways, heaving quick shallow breaths. Terror danced inside of its eyes as it seemed to be stuck in that position, with blood gushing out of its wounds. Curious, he decided to poke the deer to see if it was really stick, as he gently pressed his blade deeper and deeper into its skin. Seeing that it was very much stuck, Lucras had a eureka moment and decided to check the mana around it.
All of the original dark red sand seemed to have disappeared, leaving a miniscule amount of sand particles left. Seeing that it was most likely in mana-paralyzation, Lucras leaving his blood thirsty state decided to show mercy, by giving it a quick death. Raising his blade over his head, Lucras quickly decapitated the stuck creature with great ease and with his new food, returned to his cave.
