Chapter 38 - 38 The Worst

Mark didn't think much and chose the Compound V(Injectable) as he could at least have some samples to study rather than get a specific hero in that franchise. Who should he get? Queen Maeve? A-train? Homelander? Then what? The system might be able to put some control over them but from what Mark had seen it would not block their decision making. Sure they might be loyal to him but what if they do things he didn't want.

He would then have to restrict them which would make them useless, better to make his own or gain powers than having a super hero in his command. He's already having a headache teaching and watching over the gigantic kid Torgu, Mark then looked at the watch in his hand and thought of the possibilities he could do with it. But first he must know which aliens he received, that's right he got the omnitrix or at least a weaker version of it.

"Jetray!! Holy shit I can travel in space if the Omnitrix does not time out."

"Wildmutt is here, ha classic."

"Four Arms noice."

"Clockwork, yes I can at least have a chance against a bad guy using the time stone."

"XLR8 hell yeah!!"

"Waybig holy shiet!!

"Huh? What kind of alien is this? Isn't this a side character alien? What's he called again, Gilford something I recall. A Humanoid alien with Fish and frog-like features, why not give me Ripjaws or the species of that mermaid-like alien Sheelane? Well at least I have a swimmer and he got some enhanced strength or something."

"Oh my god Swampfire!! Fire power is here!! Would the plant controlling powers be enhanced with my Blue silver Grass Martial Spirit? This reminds me I should check up that Datura Snake, I could introduce the Giant Snakes with them should the eggs hatch and grows up."

"Hmm, Isn't this guy Inspector 13? They are called Techa-what or something, though weak like regular human they known to be very smart and even dared to scoff at Azmuth at his title being the smartest being. At least I now have a thinker so our last one will be…"

"…Ughh, The Worst."

All the hype and excitement Mark felt vanished in an instant seeing the last alien. Though he was disappointed with the swimmer alien he got at least it has enhanced strength and seemed sturdy. But this guy is just a literal punching bag, Mark can't think of nothing to use this alien which made him feel it was a waste of an alien slot.

"Well beggars can't be choosers." Mark started stretching as he felt that his body seemed lighter and his mind running sharper. He remembered that another perk of the Omnitrix is bringing the human body up to its limits which mean Mark now has strength equivalent to a Super Soldier. The rest of the Lethality that the system judged might be from the possible threat he could be with the alien transformations.

Mark remembered to release the various animals he had just received but he did not release them all in one go. He first traveled along the backyard to release the herbivores first and wait for at least two years for them to populate before he releases the carnivores. The fishes were also released with the small ones first, thankfully the rivers and the sea in the backyard had some plant life so it doesn't look bland or lifeless.

Mark felt that he should also build some breeding ponds so that he could have some fish on the ready to use. Some of the larger fish also need to be given some time to reproduce before he releases them all. Mark them went to visit the small village of the Beastmen and gave them lessons on how to breed some of the herbivore animals. This was easy as they already had prior knowledge being a nomadic kind being on the road all the time raiding from place to place.

Mark just gave them extra knowledge in animal husbandry as well as how to prevent one species from getting wiped out in the backyard. He then teleported to the pair of Skeleton Craftsmen who still worked tirelessly, Mark felt bad as he felt he had neglected them for so long but they still kept working. He looked around and was flabbergasted as there were items for about two large warehouses worth scattered around.

Mark felt he needed to add some more commands in their heads so things would get organized here. So he spent about another three hours giving them new things to do and also have them rest at least three hours a day so their bones won't give out. Since they're only bones it would be bad if they get even a hairline fracture due to overworking. Mark also sent some Mana inside them which made their soul flame more vibrant.

After that he went to took some of the things the two skeletons made, he really wished he could get more skeleton minions so he could have unlimited manpower in making things. But with the omnitrix he could now do things that he had been planning to do, right after he finishes the missions that are close in deadline.

"I don't know how the system judges on what is considered a mission but it seems that only goals that have profit for me is going to be issued. Not sure if I should be flattered or distraught that only few missions have been given to me." Mark mused as he sat in the mansion while having dinner. He had to wait for a few days for the messenger he sent or for Lady Francine to see results of what he planned.

He knew there would be chaos in a few days if the Duke indeed went to quell the scheming nobles in his lands. And in that chaos Mark can exploit by receiving the peasants that would escape their lands and add some population in his town. It was considered small for a town that it was almost considered a hamlet if not for the amount of guards in it. He learned that some categories must be met before their town could then be considered a medium sized one.

But once the town reaches a larger population then management would be needed and Mark still has no one in his subordinates to handle that, but he does have a candidate. Mark stood up after finishing his meal and went to the prison he made which held the vampire. As he reached the place he was greeted by a sound of pained laughter which came from the vampire.

Before Mark left her this morning he had been making small gadgets to annoy the vampire which was a type of torture in its form. He did not do any bloody stuff or anything but he did leave her tied up with her sides bare whilst being tickled by two feathers attached to a small electric motor. So for the whole day she was tickled nonstop that her face now looked cramped and tearstained.

"s-shtaohh pweeashh…" Countess Melissa was very tired as she was very sensitive which Mark found out after her long bout of farting and embarrassing episodes. She was trained for torture and the bloody kind of interrogation but now she was deeply afraid at how she was disregarded by Mark. He did not even interrogate her at all, just did many things which she did not understand whilst he writes on a small note of his findings.

Mark did that as soon as he arrived and wrote how the vampires here seemed to have large amounts of endurance. Normal people would be numb or either dead from laughing to much as they could not breath properly. Which meant that the vampires also doesn't rely much on oxygen to breath, that also means that the elixir of life Neferata made was able to change the needs of the human body to that extent.

Mark had been doing things to gradually weaken the fear this vampire has to her creator but from what he had observed it was very hard to do so. Which meant this was not a case on mental fear but a primal one which was written on her new DNA. Mark had seen the results and it was shocking to him that her cell behaviors were similar to a human's but some things were enhanced while others vanished.

The vampires body isn't able to produce much chemicals that would make the body feel fatigue and her nerve cells are somewhat slower but doesn't easily wear out easily like humans which somehow explains their long life. But the cons is that they are sluggish in certain times so the behavior of vampires in sleeping happens. Mark was sure he could figure this out once he transforms into Inspector 13 alien but he'll do that for later.

"You want it to stop?" Mark smiled evilly at the vampire which made her nod as she felt like her side muscles were getting hurt already.

"Okay, but you must show fealty to me or otherwise I will end you."
