"Master!" Reepicheep was stunned seeing his master hurt but he does not know what to do. Looking at his side he saw the unconscious Powergirl and saw something on her nape, his attention was taken as he forgot about his master for a split second.
"Oh,shiny." Reepicheep said as he tried to take the metallic thing on Power Girl's nape. But as he touched it he couldn't take it off making him exert more strength. It was small but with his hands he was able to grab it tightly as he pulled.
"Hrggh!!" Reepicheep strained as he pulled but he was able to after a few moments taking out the shiny circle thing embedded on Power Girl's nape.
"Yuck, there's blood on it." Reepicheep said as he looked at the thumb tack looking shiny device on his hands. His actions caught the attention of Brainiac as he looked towards where Reepicheep was and saw DR. Fate preparing a magic circle but his eyes were drawn to what the rat holds.
"Stop him!!" Brainiac said as Mongul stopped in his assault and turned towards where the Rat stood. Then he flew over there getting Mark's attention, Mark saw what Reepiceep held and understood immediately.
"Come back here!" A large long whip made of grass sprouted and hit Mongul who was unable to react on time sending him towards Mark who's eyes shone purple gold and sent a large beam of heat vision towards Mongul.
*Boom!*
Mark was suddenly punched in his face by Zod making him lose focus of the beam and his heat vision making him feel the full blast again in his body sending him back. Kent was able to see this and looked at Reepicheep understanding the Situation.
"Diana! There is something behind their necks! Take it out!" Kent sent this telepathic message making Diana and Donna realized that there was indeed something in the necks of Mammoth and Mon-el.
They took out their lassos and then went to fight while trying to take out their enemies. Suddenly snake like sprouted out and tied the two giving time for Diana and Donna to use their lassos to weaken the two. They looked toward Mark who was still being bombarded by the beam and Zod while Mongul chased after Reepicheep.
"Go Princess, I'll handle this myself." Donna said as she looked at Dian who nodded and flew to fight Mongul. Reepicheep saw this and ran towards Donna with Power Girl on tow.
"Ahh, I thank you my fair ladies. I thought big ugly there would turn me into roast rat!" Reepicheep panted as he looked back to where Mongul and Diana are now fighting.
"Ughh! I can't get my fingers to get this stupid things!!" Donna said as she tried to pry the things off the napes of Mon-El and Mammoth.
"My Lady let me try." The muscular Rat said as he reached out with his smaller hands and used the tip of his claws to pry out the devices on the back of Mon-El and Mammoth's neck.
"Savitar, stop the rodent!" Brainiac felt the connection he has on the two vanish and looked at where Reepicheep is and ordered the healing speedster.
"I can't! My legs have not healed yet!" Savitar said as he came out of his hiding spot.
"Then hurry, or else we will all fail in this mission!" Brainiac said as he pressed another button that opened another portal releasing a large beam similar to the other one.
Mark was still busy defending from the other one until the other beam appeared pushing him more to the edge. Savitar looked at this and smiled as he felt that their mission is going to be a successful one.
"Don't celebrate yet, we are not yet out of the water Savitar. Can't you see the dome? It has not waned for a bit so it means he has not yet been fighting us with all he has!" Brainiac said as he looked serious and a bit uneasy.
They were indeed from the future but this was just a last ditch effort he tried to change it as the world has all but changed with the help of this God Marcelus, all they knew is that he was from another dimension and he has a bunch of powers that helped in saving the world many times over.
He has been reached out by Savitar and Abra who was able to get Mongul, Mon-el, Power Girl, Zod and another speedster in the present to help in taking out the younger God in the past. From his calculation he has deduced that Mark would be in this area and would be at his most vulnerable state ever known.
They had spent a lot of time preparing for this but he knew it would be hard one. Yet he could not deign to refuse since he too wants to get his hands on one specific item on the hands of Mark. Brainiac's eyes looked fervently at the Omnitrix in Waybig's chest and felt feverish.
This was a tech that was beyond his capabilities and he knew that there was a form in there stored that could rival a level 10 intellectual like him. Brainiac felt it was a waste that such a form is wasted on an ignorant Godling who knows not of the possibilities of the watch itself.
He could feel it, as a genius with the ability to manipulate Technology. The Watch on Mark is something he could feel that would take him to greater heights, he had tried so before many times but it all ended in defeat even before Mark transformed.
Only time he saw Mark use a form against him was when it a greater mind was needed to crack open a seal he made to kill Superman. He knew he could kill Clark Kent here too but that would change the future so much that me might not exist there.
So when his plans were foiled in Mark's techadon Form that is when he became so obsessed with the Omnitrix that he deemed the consequences of him going to the past will be worth it. Even if he does not kill Superman who will be helpless once he becomes the most smartest being in all of the multiverse.
Brainiac had deduced that the form would rely on the inherent knowledge the wearer has so what distance could he achieve once he takes on that form. He even had the two speedsters power a machine he built that harnessed the energy they produced on a treadmill.
Now he has a couple of mini dimensions ready to be released and tire out Mark as they waited for him to succumb to death. And Brainiac was right, Mark was not indeed using his all as he still has power as the Patron God of his people.
But right now that power is needed on his lands to prevent them from being destroyed and influenced easily by the chaos gods. Right now his men are fighting the third wave of attackers and the closest army from Kislev is still about 400 km far from the Keep.
"When are you going to kill the rodent Savitar?! If we lose the daxamite and the Kryptonian then we'll be sitting ducks in the past facing them, go run even if your legs are partially attached. That Amazonian will be handled with shortly." Brainiac then willed for Zod to disengage Mark as he released another dimension full of energy to shoot towards Mark.
"Fucking hell where does he get all these beams from?!" Mark screamed as he crossed his hand and shot the innate beam ability of Waybig and used Heat Vision to fight off the two while being beaten by Zod.
Now the third hit him right in the stomach forcing Mark to endure it as he got pushed back while Zod flew to where Donna is to separate her from the Rat. Donna saw this but she has no choice but to engage, but as Zod was about to reach her, Carter suddenly appeared and hit Zod in the face squarely with his mace.
"Sorry we're late kid, Kent had a hard time taking us in here." Carter said as he looked at Donna who nodded and the two fought Zod together barely able to injure him for the moment. Kent had indeed been busy making a spell that would help him defeat the enemies but he needed more people to help here.
But Mark's dome has been proven to be a hard thing to get into as Mark designed it using the Dome Drachenfels used to hide his castle and tweaked it a bit so he could cast it himself in a short time and link it to his life force to power it.
Ageless and immortal does make it more stronger and harder to get in, only thing that'll stop it if Mark wills it so or he dies. This was made so if any case there was some peeping blue baldie watching over then he can hide from him if the gift of the presence does not prevent the guy.
It was then Savitar appeared again and was about to send a vibrating hand towards Reepicheep and Judy Garrick, The Boom, appeared and stopped him. Savitar would usually be faster than the young speedster but his legs are still healing from being cut off so he had a hard time fighting back.
"Ha! You getting tired old man?!" Judy smirked as she threw punches and pushed Savitar to trip from time to time all around the battle field.
"Hmph, I'll have fun killing you kid!" Savitar was incensed, he had come back from the future because no matter how many evil speedsters tried they were always defeated by a faster being and it was already too late for them to realize it was Mark all along.
He had been humiliated many times over and it wasn't until Abra came to him proposing they go back to the past to kill Mark. Brainiac had found the correlation of the alien from of Mark to be able to get faster as they get older.
Savitar was crushed, to think he was defeated not by a speed force conduit but by an Alien who did not have a connection to the speed force at all. So he came with the others to kill Mark, even going as far as to power several mini-dimensions made by Brainiac using a Treadmill for many weeks.
They even took many heavy hitters in a prison to use as pawns, Power Girl and Mon-El were just additions since they had tried apprehending them but was defeated with Zod, him and Mammoth.
Then they came back to the past suing Abra's tech from the farther Future, who was disgruntled at the so called Target of theirs that was still present even centuries later. They had deduced from the alien speedster that maybe Mark was also getting stronger as time goes by so they will kill him in the past.
But now Savitar is incensed as he felt toyed being mocked by a younger Speedter, though he does not know who she is and why has there been no record of her in the future. He still tried to kill her many times over but his speed is greatly affect by the mistake he made earlier.
"Ughh! Must I do everything myself!?" Brainiac said as he looked at the Rodent still admiring the shiny control pins he placed on the pawns he brought with him. He pressed another button to release another beam since he could not release them all at the same time due to the fear that they might run out before Mark falls.
Now Mark was kneeling blocking all four hitting him but he also prevented the beams to spread out as he took on the full burnt of the attacks. Now he felt his skin is getting charred as he used both Waybig's beams and his Heat Vision to reduce the amount of force hitting him.
'Why am I being the lead target here? Did they hate me so much in the future? No, they are already being pushed back so why keep going on?' Mark thought as he was being bombarded by the beams.
'No, this is an act of desperation. I might have done something in the future that made them pull this off. Just as soon as the system somehow changed they found me, was this a coincidence or whatever that 'time' thingy is that might be the reason they couldn't find me until now.' Mark felt tired and hurt in many places but he kept himself calm.
One wrong decision and hasty action might change the desired outcome for him. Right now he is slowly gathering spare Mana as much as he could to make a forceful push back to give him time to escape his predicament.
But as soon as he saw Brainiac floating towards Reepicheep he felt a bit of panic. He had seen that the other attackers seemed to be unwilling puppets and if Brainiac awakens them again them the whole thing will skew to his direction.
Using his summoning abilities he pulled Cookie(The Grumpy telepathic Cat) and Bart(the hyperactive speedster Pug) to his side making them appear behind his foot where no one would notice since his frame is very large.
'Cookie, I need you to drag those unconscious people behind me. Do it after Bart takes Reepicheep away from the creepy green dude with faces on his body.' Mark sent this message tot eh heads of his pets which was answered by Cookie with a disgruntled meow and a chirpy bark from Bart.
"Woof!" Bart suddenly zoomed away to where Reepicheep is passing through Brainiac between his legs scaring the green telepathic at the sudden blur but only to see a dog wearing a metallic helmet with goggles on taking the Rat away with the control pins he made.
"A nuisance…" Brainiac flew towards the pug in high speed but Bart proved to be very unpredictable since he would go down holes in the ground and dig so fast like he was a fish swimming in water. Unbeknownst to him Power Girl, Mon-El and Mammoth were taken by a grumpy cat behind Mark.
Brainaic used his telekinesis to gouge out the land for Bart who had Reepicheep hanging behind him pocketing the new shiny things he ahs in his hands.
"Return the pins you mangy mutt!! Do you not know how rare it is to find metal that could pierce a Kryptonian and how hard it is to make it into a device like that you buffoon!!" Brainiac screamed in frustration as he was being led by Bart in a wild goose chase all around.
Meanwhile, Donna and Carter were having a hard time fighting Zod who has no restraints in his strength. They barely could hold him down as they defended and pushed back a bit. Diana on the other hand was getting injuries as she clashed with Mongul who seemed to be able to heal very fast as well.
It was then two blurs passed by which were Jar Garrick and his long-time nemesis, the Rival. They had been chasing each other for quite some time near the edges of the Dome since Mark was able to include them too earlier as they had been not so far from the battlefield.
"Kent watch out!" Jay shouted as the Rival suddenly turned to stop whatever Kent was doing.
"Oh no you don't!" Rey Palmer suddenly appeared in front of the Speedster surprising him with a left handed Lariat sending the Speedster tumbling forward.
"Whoa, good job Ray." Jay Garrick then injected a special drug that would render a Speedster asleep for an hour on the guy.
"Tell me the short version Kent." Jay looked at the other battles going on but his eyes were drawn to the gigantic form of Mark.
"Giant being is the guy we met being targeted by people in the future. Their magician here is unconscious due to a rat, Diana and Donna took care of another two. Green guy is the mastermind, Diana and Donna are fighting the other two that's left. And Judy is fighting an Injured Speedster there." Kent said as he focused on the spell he is working on.
It would have been faster to make it but the dome Mark made hindered him greatly. But he could not complain since he knew that the world is not ready to see this level of destruction yet, not when they are stills cared and sees people with powers as monsters.
"I'll go help Judy!" Jay immediately ran towards his daughter and helped her subdue Savitar who was immediately pressured having to deal with two speedsters.
Meanwhile Carter and Donna are getting a foothold in their fight against Zod, good thing Mark was able to injure him greatly before they faced him. Diana on the other hand was fighting on par with the severely injured Mongul.
Brainiac was still frustrated at Bart but after a few moments he was able to uproot a large part of the land and was able to catch both Bart and Reepicheep.
"A Dog and a Rat? A bunch of pest, too bad there is no cat to complete the trio of nuisance." Brainiac said as he turned his head to the struggling Mark.
"Meow" Cookie meowed as he appeared behind Brainiac who was suddenly spooked but Cookie moved faster as he scratched the faces on the back of Brainiac.
"Arghh!!" this broke his concentration a bit making Reepicheep see this as a chance and jumped towards him delivering a strong uppercut dizzying the green bald dude. Then Cookie pulled a large Boulder to smash on Brainiac sending him hurtling down.
*Boom!!*
Bart quickly went towards the crater and looked for a device that Brainiac used earlier. After a few seconds the pug found it and immediately ran towards Ray Palmer who was surprised at the speed of the Pug.
"Uhmm… good boy?" Ray kneeled down as he looked at Kent in confusion.
"It's the device that controls those beams that are shooting at our friend there." Kent looked at the downed Brainiac who is being pummeled non-stop by a boulder and Reepicheep left and right.
"Okay, let's see if we can turn this off." Ray pressed a button and it released another beam towards Mark.
"WHAT THE HELL MAN!!?" Mark screamed as he felt it was harder to hold on and that the omnitrix might time out anytime soon.
"Oh, shit sorry!" Ray said as he pressed another button making a beam appear shooting to the sky. This large Pillar of Light hit the dome Mark made and it strained him further as it affected him too in his lifeforce.
"Sssttop pre-urghk!-ssing buttons!!" Mark looked at Ray with angry eyes as he slowly kneeled lower at the pressure he is tanking in.
"Ray just break it!" Kent said as he was almost finished in his spell.
"Okay!" Atom then turned smaller and used the concentrated strength on his fist to smash the device in his hands.
"Stop!!" Brainiac recovered as he sent a shockwave around him to blow away Reepicheep while Cookie hid in a hole far away lazily licking his legs watching the show.
*Crack!*
The device broke after three punches of the smaller Atom making Brainiac stop and look around in horror. The beams shooting at Mark stopped leaving a charred smoking giant alien kneeling in exhaustion.
"What have you done?! That was the only thing keeping the various pocket dimensions stable and now you broke it! The energy released simultaneously will be strong enough to decimate a quadrant of this Galaxy!!" Brainiac was fuming as his plans never accounted the animals that had powers interfering and now his eyes were bloodshot looking at Reepicheep.
"Hey don't look at me like that, I'm already in a relationship! And I prefer hairy short female animals than a hairless guava looking weirdo like you." Reepicheep said as he hid shyly behind a rock.
"Why you vermin, it's all you faul-ughh!!" Brainiac was about to attack the Rat but Mark appeared in his human form grabbing his head and smashing it down in full force.
"You want this huh?" Mark said as he pointed with his left hand at the Omnitrix. "Too bad you failed, now die!!!"
Mark then threw Brainiac to the Sky and released the stored up mana along with the leftover energy he has in a large Mana Arrow concentrated to obliterate the target.
"ARGHH!!!" Brainiac screamed in pain but suddenly a golden wave spread and took him as well as those with him away. Mark stopped and looked at Kent who had just released the spell he had made.
"Why?" that was all Mark asked as he looked at Dr. Fate.
(A/N: I hurt my hand writing this chapter, but it was worth it as my brain has been boosted by the great thing called a green whistle. Do you know what a green whistle is? I did and it was amazing...
Anywho, I tried downloading the voice to text app but somehow the app cannot understand my english, so I tried speaking like an American, it didn't work.
I tried a British accent but the result was like a cockney gentleman rambling about random things.
I tried speaking like an indian but the app does not recognize my words.
Using a japanese accent also did not work because all I got was gibberish words.
So all in all my english is so horrendous that the app is really not for me, I don't even think I have an accent of I speak english. So maybe my mic or my mouth is the problem...
