The sprit beast appear in front of him.The sprit beast was like a wolf it was big and intimidating appreance.The beast eyes were completely red in colour in fact it was so red it was like there was blood in it's eyes.There was a lot of scar in the beast fur and most of it was red in colour and it's claws on his body also look really sharp
Then the beast growl at him and when Fujin saw it open it's mouth it saw it big fangs and slava was also dripping from it's mouth.When the it's slava fell to the ground the ground melted where it fell.
"What is the meaning of all this is the slava of this beast an acid which can melt the ground.If that's the case then I could be in big trouble and it is a A-RANK sprit beast because it realsed the aura of one when it growl"Fujin thought to himself
Just as Fujin was thinking what kind of sprit beast is this a voice resounded in his ears
"Fujin that's an A-rank sprit beast I hope you know that and it's one of the most dangerous sprit beast species in the forest.It's the devourer wolf it got it's name because of its nature as it devours any kind of creature in it finds whether it's a infant or not.The most important thing to be careful about it is it slava as just as you saw the it can melt even the rocks and it's fangs and claws are also really sharp.If you don't want to fight it you can run away right now and if you don't have the confident in running away from it we can save but of course you will surely fail the exam."Lucas voice resounded in his ears
Then a moment later Fujin shook his head
"I will try to defeat this sprit beast if I can't defeat it then I won't have any regrets even if I die trying"Fujin declared loudly because he knows Lucas and the other are somewhere around him.
Then he took out his dual daggers and started to channel more mana into it
Meanwhile a distant away from Fujin a few people were standing in the same place
This people were obviously Walker,Lucas and the others.
When Walker heard His voice declaring he is going to fight the A-rank sprit beast then he became really nervous and his face was looking ugly because even though he is his rival he is still his close friend but a moment Lucas reassured Walker that nothing is going to happen to him
"Don't worry nothing is going to have to him in fact he can defeat the sprit beast with only half of his mana.In fact he can even defeat two Devouring wolf it's because of he has his dual daggers and to be honest with you he would have lot of trouble defeating a A-rank sprit beast if it weren't for his dual daggers"Lucas said to Walker with a akward smile because he wasn't also sure if Fujin can defeat the Devouring wolf because Thier physical defeat his really high in fact a sprit beast shouldn't have such high defense to be honest but he still said all these to lighten up the mood of everyone here.
Seeing Lucas realaxed condition he also realax a little bit and the others also nodded Thier nodded in approval and then they continued to watch over Fujin from a distance.
Meanwhile at the place where Fujin was preparing for battle.
Fujin kept channeling more mana into his dual daggers but all of a sudden the beast roar once again and it started to head torwards Fujin Maybe it understand Fujin wanted to kill it or it's natural killing instinct activated but whatever is the case for it to attack suddenly Fujin was in danger if he didn't react quickly.Then Fujin didn't panicked and he instead he turned around 90 degree from his position and due to this he was able to dodge the beast and then he tried to slash through the beast defense with his dual daggers.
Then he slash the skin of the sprit beast and the blades collide with the beast skin and the sound of two metal colliding echoed throughout the forest,the beast Savage expression didn't change even a little bit because Fujin wasn't able to pierce through the skin of the sprit beast as it's skin was hard as steel for Fujin.Then he slashed at the same spot again but he wasn't even pierce it's skin then the beast but the same thing repeat itself.
Then the beast changed the direction where it's heading towards after realizing it had missed it's target.When Fujin realized this he wanted to make a distance between but the it was too late as the beast turned around to him and then it raised it's claws and then slashed at Fujin's chest.
"Ah Ah"A weak scream of agony came from Fujin's mouth.
Then blood started to spill out from his chest then he screamed in pain for a moment and he was also sent flying backwards after the Devouring wolf hit him with but later he kept all pain aside because he saw the Devouring wolf charging torwards him once again.There was a huge tree that was sent flying to besides him so he used his hands to push the tree and due to the momentum the direction where he heading changed.Then after a moment he was lying on the grounds and he was surpressing his bleeding with his two hands.At the same time the beast had crushed into the wall thinking it had crushed Fujin didn't but as it's a beast it's intelligence is lower than a 3-year old child so it will take it a few minutes to realize the beast hadn't kill his enemy.
"This the perfect time for me to think of a plan to defeat this beast and also to heal my injury.I won't be able to defeat this beast with only my dual daggers I will have to use the spell of my Life element too but I don't think that Fear of Souls will be enough for me to defeat this beast and moreover I can touch even a little bit of his slava or elso my skin will melt"Fujin thought to himself.
This time he fell into deep thought and was thinking of every single counter method of every single attack of this beast but he wasn't able to find any. Then a moment later he found a perfect plan to defeat but it can't be considered completely full proofed plan because it has some flaws.
However just as he finished making a plan a voice resounded in his ears.
"It me Lucas Fujin.I have to say something to you and I guess you know what am going to say but whatever Fujin,if you aren't 100 percent sure than give me because it's only going to get you kill.Even if you fail you will be able to take the exam be next time but if you die than you will never be able to fulfill your dreams.That's why I saying if you can't defeat it then back off if you can then you can stay"Lucas voice resounded in his ears.
Hearing this Fujin said to him with a smile.
"I know you can hear so I will just say what I want to.If you said all these early then I think I might have considered it but now I have a plan which has the 95 percent chance to work so I want to try it I hope you won't say now"Fujin said while looks at the sky with a smile.
Then Lucas didn't said anything to him by using whatever think he was using but a voice was still there for a moment.
"...."Lucas.
Then that voice disappear.
"I guess I have gotten your approval Lucas"While Fujin was thinking about this a roar resounded from behind.
"Roar"The beast roared after realizing it's pret wasn't death.
Then the beast started to look for him and then he saw Fujin glaring at him.
"Roar"The beast roared at Fujin.
"So you have finally come here"Fujin said with a smile.
