Chapter 1 - 1. At the fairy School

"Hey, Mia, it is fairy carnival beginning tonight." Hazel told Mia who was her first cousin.

"Yeah, I knew it." Replied busy Mia who was at rush for Fairy professor Lily's class." I need to be fast otherwise Professor Lily will complain my daddy."

Mia left Hazel behind and headed towards her class.

"Ah! Poor fairy princess Mia, despite of being daughter of Fairy king she is being treated as normal fairy with rudeness in her fate." Said Hazel in a jealous note to herself. "Look at me, my daddy is always there to help me and save me, either I am right or wrong, without knowing what I did."

Hazel was daughter of fairy King's younger brother. She hated Mia and was always in search of any issue related to Mia so that she could degrade her infront of her family.

On the other hand, Mia was the crowned Fairy queen after her dad. So she was groomed strictly in a normal fairy school like other fairies. Likewise Hazel was fourth in list of crowned queen.

Mia was the beautiful fairy princess, the fairy kingdom ever had. Her beauty was untold in words. Her eyes twinkle like stars and cheeks glow like red roses after rain. Her hair were long touching her toes and wings had beautiful combination of every color that existed in fairyland. Her wing's colour use to change with every gesture she used to make. Her every glimse was as beautiful as the nature itself was.

Everyone on Bloomberg fairyland praised her beauty and nature. But she had to carry a huge responsibility in the future so her king fairy father was rude with her mostly.

Anyways the fairy princess Mia rushed but was five minutes late as usual.

"Oh Welcome my princess", Mrs Lily taunted the fairy princess Mia.

"Aaahmmm ... I am on time Mrs Lily", replied Mia while all the other fairies of her class mocked at her.

"Mia, you are late five minutes again. And I told you this time your punishment will be severe." Said Mrs Lily with a rude victorious facial expressions. "For a week and starting from today, you will join Mrs Janjo in her hunt for glittery berry flowers from Bloomberg forest."

"But Mrs Lily, it is beginning of carnival night today and ...." Said Mia but Mrs Lily didn't let her complete her sentence.

"Off to you seat princess, if you donot want any further detentions." Mrs Lily said her while moving her glasses down to her nose.

Mia thought to better remain quiet. But she was worried of her fairy king dad, if he found her not available at the carnival welcome eve, he will be rude to her. Also his rudeness will persist if he found Mia being punished for being irresponsible.

During the midday break, Mrs Janjo came to Mia to ask her to be ready as the sun will get ready to set.

"Okay", Said Mia with low note.

Soah, her only best fairy friend with whom she was having her day meal of roasted raisin and almond sweets told her, " These glittery berry flowers only bloom at nights from start of carnival upto seven days till carnival ends. It's magic power suits to only few selected fairies. It could fulfil your every heart wish within a seconds."

"Ahan ... I heard about it but not interested. " Said Mia carelessly.

"Mrs Janjo is only an experienced fairy who can smell and grab it within seconds." Said Soah.

"Well, I hope she grab them today as early as possible so that I could be back to castle as soon as possible for the carnival fire lit." Said Mia.

"I do hope too. By the way. Good luck." Soah soothed her with her hand on Mia's hand.

"Soah, do me a favour." Said Mia.

"Yes, sure what is it?" Asked Soah with a query face.

"Make sure my cousin Hazel doesn't find my unavailability." Said Mia.

"Ooh, yes, you are right. She loves poking her nose in your matter." Said Soah, " I will be careful my princess fairy." Said Soah.

Both the fairies finished their meals and rushed to the ground. They were setting the baskets with different collected magic flowers from forest.

These flowers were to be taken into Mrs Janjo's school laboratory where she crush and then mix them with proper proportion to create magical dust for fairies.

Mia got back to palace after her school got over.

She went to Mrs Janjo and asked her for a leave till the sun gets ready to set.

"Okay, dear princess fairy, I hope you will be back before the time?" Said Mrs Janjoo

Mrs Janjo was a polite and powerful magic dust creator in the fairy kingdom. She helped the young fairies with the talent of using magic dust. But she was kind as well. She cared for Mia like her own daughter fairy Tia. She was supposed to make Mia most strong magic dust learner as she has to be queen.

Fairy king bounded Mrs Janjo with this task too.

Mia opened her beautiful wings and along her friend rushed back to the palace.

Her fairy sister Aani was waiting for her elder sister Mia and said as she saw her sister landing,

"Mia, finally you are back. Mother fairy has a surprise for you. "

"Oooh really, for me?" Mia tried to correct her sister.

"Yes, for you." Aani cleared.

She took Mia to fairy mother queen.

"Mommy, show Mia the surprise." Said her younger sister Aani whose one year to school was left to join.

Mom fairy flew down, who was making sure that palace was clean to her servants.

"Well, dear, follow me." Said Mom Fairy and took her to her own room.

As the fairies entered the room, Mia and Aani's eyes sparkled with shine of a beautiful fairy dress.

"Wow, it's amazing." Said the two fairies.

"Mia, this is your carnival night dress, prepared on special order from your dad." Said Mom fairy.

"Thankyou Mom, but why?" Asked Mia.

"You will lit the carnival fire today." Said Mom fairy.

"But why me?" Said Mia.

"As you will be getting engaged with a prince fairy of BlushingBerg." Said Mom fairy.

"Me? but why?" Asked Mia surprisingly.

"Because you have to be queen soon." Said Mom fairy, " No more questions. Be ready on time."

The mom left and Aani was amazed at the dress.

"I want this one too." Said Aani with desperated wish.
