Chapter 1 - Prologue - Dreams & Nightmares

Ryan stood still in the middle of nowhere. It was too dark to see anything properly. Ryan didn't know where he was standing on. All he knew was that - this was a dream. Yet, it felt so real that his fingers started freezing.

Eyes were burning, yet no sign of any existence. There was barely any wind flowing. Thin air; suffocating atmosphere was making him awfully restless.

He couldn't remember how he came here. All he could remember was drinking beer before going to sleep. It was not too difficult to remember Leah, sitting right next to her, smiling at him and saying all the slangs she could use.

All of a sudden, it begun to brighten. Now, it was too bright to see anything.

- It's too bright out here, I can't see a thing.

- I know. You don't have to see things to know what's going on.

Ryan heard the voice out of the blue; it seemed like it was Leah. Then she giggled. No doubt that it was Leah making fun of him. The atmosphere eventually became warm.

- Leah, is that you?

- Nah, it's her soul talking from the graveyard. Hehe.

- Oh God. Not again, not now. Not here!

As Ryan moved forward to reach out to Leah, he started to her appear eventually. When her appearance got clearer to him, he was shocked to see someone else; someone, he thought, was dead.

- Ella?!

- Ryan, why did you leave me so soon? It was just a hug.

She sobbed. He couldn't bear his regrets. Tears rolled down through his cheeks and he raised his arms towards Ella without a second thought.

- Will you hug me now? One last Hug?

- It's too late.

Leah, then, started to shout to his ears, "You're so selfish that you left your sister behind! You don't deserve it! WAKE UP"
