It was a school holiday, and Annabella had to travel with her parent to Dubai for the holidays.

Gabby and Fola spent their holiday in Abuja with their parents.

"Mom, why not tell dad to take us on a vacation" Gabby suggested to her mom

"Gabby, your dad would have loved to take us on a vacation but you know how busy he is with work this day," she said

"That's true, but how I wish we went on a vacation" Gabby mumbled

"Don't worry dear, if we don't go now we will go on a very good day. Nevertheless, I will talk to your dad about it" She smiled

"Thanks, Mom, you're the best" Gabby hugged her mom.

Gabby went to her room leaving her mom in the sitting room.

She has three elder siblings, the first child Elizabeth based in london. She does come to Nigeria whenever their parents pest her life to come to see them while Gabriel and Maxwell school in Port Harcourt.

They do come home whenever they are broke or on holiday.

Gabby is the last child in the house, she always stays indoors to keep her mom company because her dad is always busy with work.

She got to her room and heard her phone ringing, it was Fola.

📱"Sup fola baby," Gabby said

📲"How are you?" Fola asked

📱"I'm good, you"

📲"Fine, where are you"

📱"Am home, wassup?"

📲"Nothing much, I will see you shortly am coming to your place," Fola said

📱"Okay, am expecting you" (the call disconnected)

In less than an hour, the doorbell rang. Gabby went to check, it was Fola. She came in and Gabby closed the door.

"Where are you coming from that you dressed so elegantly like you are coming from a date?" Gabby asked

"You talk too much, where is mom?" Fola replied

"She just went out, I thought you would even see her, hey don't change the topic where are you coming from dressed like this?" Gabby winked at her

"Madam from nowhere, am coming from home I just decided to dress up, is anything the problem" Fola rolled her eyes

"Fola my love, oya don't be upset I was just surprised. It has been long you dressed up like this that's why. Hope am forgiven?" Gabby gave a puppy face

"You're not forgiven, you talk too much," she said

"What will I do for you to forgive me" Gabby asked

"Good girl, just follow me let go take ice cream then u will be forgiven," she said flatly

"Aww, it's no problem let go to my room so that I can go change," Gabby said

"Alright, no problem" They both left for her room.

They went to take the ice cream with cakes, but on their way out of the place, someone mistakenly spilled juice on Gabby's white gown.

She was so annoyed and wanted to shout at the guy that ruined her dress, she looked up and saw a young tall handsome guy in her front, she could not utter a word to him.

"I'm sorry, it was not intentional" the young guy pleaded

"No problem, I will go wash it off," she said

"Alright, if you will excuse me," he said

"Okay bye" she muttered and kept her gaze on him until he left.

"Gabby wassup with you today? You did not raise your voice at that guy you were just looking like a mumu" Fola stared at her

"Baby girl you won't understand," she said flatly

"I know that is what you are going to say" Fola rolled her eyes

"But seriously the guy looks so hot, he is mine," she said

"What the heck! Are you okay? You don't even know him and you are saying he is yours?" Fola asked in disbelief

"Love at first sight" Gabby smiled

"Love at first sight keh? You can't be serious, silly girl" Fola shook her head

"Let my fate decide for me, but I wish that guy becomes the first guy I will ever date" she laughed

"Hey, why are you behaving like a fool? This is serious, but wait what about Andrew who has been on your neck since SS1? Are you seriously not giving that guy a trial?" Fola asked

"Sis I have to make it clear to him that I can't date him, I told him not to waste his time waiting for me" she replied

"Hmm okay, biko let go I am exhausted" Fola yawn

"Okay, give me a few minutes I will be back, let me go wash this off in the bathroom" she smiled

"Okay, I will be waiting for you," Fola said and she left.

Fola went to the car and waited for Gabby, shortly she joined Fola.

They went to Fola's house.

Fola rang the doorbell, and her younger sister (Anna) opened the door.

Fola is the second child, she also has an elder brother (Michael) and a little sister Anna.

She lived with her dad and stepmom. Fola lost her mom when she was 5, her dad couldn't raise her and her brother alone so he got to remarry.

Whenever her dad got to travel their stepmom always had the privilege to maltreat them and when he was back they would tell him what she made them do whenever he was not around but he never believed them.

Due to an argument that happened between Fola and her stepmom, her dad made it clear that he would not sponsor her to university after her ss3, and that she is a useless girl.

His words towards her that day really hurt her since then this made her hate her dad.

"Big sis welcome back, I miss you," Anna said happily

" Little sis I miss you too, guess what I bought for you?" Fola said

"Ice Cream" Anna smiled

"Yeah you got it right, enjoy yourself," Fola said

"Thank you, Aunt Gabby sup" Anna greeted

"Little Ann cool, how are you doing?" Gabby asked

"I'm fine, let me go and take my ice cream, see you later" Anna ran in

"She is so sweet not like her mom, hope she is not around before she starts her unnecessary talk" Gabby rolled her eyes

"She is not, if she were to be around you would have seen her. Biko let go to my room before she comes back" Fola laughed

"Alright dearest, but am hungry what are we to do now?" Gabby asked

"Don't worry, let me go prepare noodles and fried eggs before she gets back, that will be more quick" Fola said

"Alright favorite, I missed eating your noodles" she muttered like a child

"Will you go to my room or stay here?" Fola suggested

"I would prefer to go to your room" Gabby answered

"Alright dear, I will join you later," she said going to the kitchen.

Fola went straight to the kitchen and prepared the noodles, within five minutes it was ready.

She went straight to the room and surprisingly, she saw Gabby sleeping like someone who hadn't slept for 2 days.

"Gabby stand up let eat" Fola tapped her

"Uhm! Oops when did I fall asleep?" She asked

"I don't know sleeping beauty, oya come eat before it gets cold" Fola smiled and Gabby started eating

"Yummy, I enjoyed the meal thank you," she said

"You don't have to thank me, dear"

"Yeah, where is my phone?" Gabby asked

"It's in your bag" Fola replied

"Oboi ye, 3 missed calls" she gasped

"Who called you," Fola asked

"Let me check"
