"why this lab getting more chill and creepy ?" complaint Yeonjun as he sat down on the empty sofa while hugging his own body with Yoshi who just come inside the lab. Lisa put down her lab eyewear and a huge sighed escape from her mouth as she feels very exhausted.
"need blood ?" offered Yoon. Lisa shook her head with a smile "No. We're still inside the lab" she rejected then change her gaze toward Haruto who just playing with his phone. "haru... let's talk.." she took out her glove and tossed it inside the nearest bin. She walk away to the back store. It's look like she's going to talk about a serious matter.
Yeonjun, Yoon and Yoshi looking at each other. Haruto didn't protest and just follow her. Before he get inside the store, he send a last text to Junkyu. Yes, he was texting Junkyu all along.
Inside the store, with flickering light, messy place with too much boxes of experimental material, untidy cylinder tube and the removal tool. It looks like a dump place inside here that Haruto couldn't explain. He stare at the woman who already leaning her hip on the old table.
"what's up ? what's so important that you couldn't say it in front of the others ?" Haruto asked leaning his hip at another table as well. The woman took some courage to speak "About your limitation. Are you going to give up your life just like that ?"
"Oh" he replied shortly. No doubt and hesitation in his voice. The male looks like he really want to vanish from this world. Lisa place her palm on her head. A soft sighed coming from her mouth "Just in case you change your mind, I have a few tips for you to stay alive" she take out a note from her pocket and hand it to Haruto.
Haruto received it with a slight frown as he read what was written on the note. He laugh "you want me to kill human and drink their pure blood for my own selfishness ? I'm not doing that"
Lisa fold her arm on her chest "there's another tip, but you only read the first one" she click her tongue in disbelief and took the note on the floor that Haruto just tossed.
"it's no use anyway..." he stretch out his arm and smile to the woman. Lisa silent for a while before she fix her bang and shoved the note inside Haruto's pocket. She pat the younger shoulder with a meaningful smiles "Think carefully. Keep this note if you ever change your mind in the future. I'm not forcing you but, I just want you to think properly for yourself or someone in the future" she pressed the word "someone" so the male could understand what is she mean.
"Junkyu ?" guess Haruto. Lisa shrugged and excuse herself. Before she open the door, she turn to look at Haruto through her shoulder "I know you have been through so much these past century and probably you're tired with everything. But believe me, a light will come to you to brighten your darkness" she smiles because she just saw his future through the shoulder patted she gave toward the male.
At lunch, Haruto can saw Junkyu was having a lunch with Jihoon. He was glad they are getting along again so he won't see the younger depressed and whining to him anymore.
He walk away after he watch over the dhampir male and he widened his eyes when someone he knows passing him at the corridor. He turned around to verify if he saw it right or not but he didn't saw the person he saw early instead of random students there. He shrugged his ugly thought away and keep walking.
"good afternoon Sir Haru..." a girl student greet. Haruto slightly bow his head with a smiles.
Behind the hoodie male, there was a smiles creep on his face.
This is where you belong all these years ? and you're watching over the kid thought he will be safe ?
Jaehyuk giggled and went to Junkyu and Jihoon with a soft smiles on his face "I was busy these few hours" he sighed dramatically before he take a seat in front of Junkyu who obviously uncomfortable.
"busy for few hours ?! pfft" Jihoon burst out laughing at Jaehyuk's statement follow by Junkyu force laughed. "um anyway our outing plan this weekend can we postpone them ? I have somewhere to go this weekend" Jaehyuk said after he sipped his banana milk.
"It's alright. We can go anytime" Jihoon assured him and the male smile in relief.
Back from Uni, Junkyu was here with Haruto inside the car on their way to the nearest supermarket to have a groceries shopping. "anything change while I'm not with you ?" Haruto asked when his head roaming around at the parking lot looking for an empty space. "We literally sending text to each other almost every minute while we parted away so, as you can see nothing. I haven't change into monster...um wait- " he paused and place his elbow on the head of his seat gazing at the vampire male who focus on driving "stop saying I will turning into a monster can you ? I'm a dhampirs..." his voice kinda slow at the end.
Haruto glance at him then park his car right in front of the supermarket "We all are monster anyway. Whether you're vampire, werewolves or dhampirs, human will saw us as a monster"
The younger sighed and just nod. That's true. No matter what, human will always saw them as a monster in this world. Haruto turn to look at Junkyu who bowing his head down, looking down at the hands, fidgeting each other. He care the younger cheek with his thumb "Don't get hurt by the fact. Just think that you're special.."
Junkyu pout his lips a little and remove Haruto's hand from his cheek. He bring Haruto's hand onto his lap "Speaking about special... I feel more dangerous... Can everyone leave me alone ?" he sighed while thinking how hard he must feel for getting hunt by every creature.
Haruto link their hands together with his eyes gazing into Junkyu's "let's not think about this. Let's go"
Finished with the groceries shopping, Haruto check out the receipt while waiting for Junkyu who buying an ice cream for them. A little kid bumped onto his long leg and he quickly help the little girl to get up "are you okay ?" he worriedly asked as he help the little girl to brush off the dirt from her legging.
"Jieun ya !! that's why mommy told you not to running right ?" the woman with mid long hair above shoulder get her daughter. A plastic slipped from Haruto's hand when he saw the familiar woman. His eyes in teary by looking at the figure he was longing for. "Yi...hyun.. ?" he mumbled.
The woman bowed at him "I'm sorry for the caused sir. My daughter are little bit naughty" she apologized before she turned to her husband "Hyeyoon yah... where is our Jieun ?" the tall not too short guy with a pant approach his wife.
Haruto quickly wipe his tears, standing there witnessing this happy family right in front of his face. A soft smile create on his face when he saw the smiles he was missing for. Choi Yihyun, his first love.
Guess, reincarnation is real. You deserve to be happy with someone you love Yihyun ya...
The woman, once again turn to look at Haruto with a smiles "thank you" she mouthing followed by her husband. He nodded with a little smiles not realizing Junkyu was there standing next to him while holding an ice cream "do you know them ?" Haruto hold his chest when the sudden voice snapped him off.
"No" he replied shortly after he received an ice cream from Junkyu's hand. "then, why there a sadness on your eyes ?" Junkyu asked while wiping a cream on the corner of Haruto's lips. Haruto force a smile then shrugged "maybe I'm being sentimental" he laughed sarcastically.
"You want a family ? then, let's build one. You and me so we can adopt a child" suggest Junkyu with a joke. Haruto laugh while shook his head in amusement "You want it ? can you be a great papa ??" Haruto narrowed his eyes.
"Of course ! I will spoiled our child with your money" Junkyu grinned, scrunching his nose cutely. Haruto patted his head and Junkyu finally can see a bright and spark on Haruto's face which it's relieved him. Just now, he heard clearly Haruto mumbling "Yihyun" name. A same name he heard at the bar past few day. Maybe, the girl indeed his ex lover. As curious he is, he send a text to Yeonjun asking about Yihyun.
They have a dinner together at Chinese restaurant. Haruto mouthing a thank you toward the waiter after they received their meal. Junkyu turn to look at the glass window and mumbled "it's raining...."
"let's eat it now before the food getting cold"

Haruto gripped his chopsticks and just about to poke Junkyu's eyes who already sticking his tongue out. "Hyung~~~" Junkyu uttered in the end earning a nodded from Haruto.
The taste of sweet and sour pork along with dumpling success make both of them full in delight.
"want some Baijiu ?" Haruto offered with a smirk. The younger frown "what kind of food is that ?" Haruto laughed with the question and call a waiter asking for two glasses of Baijiu. "only 2 glasses sir ?" the waiter asked because usually people with order a bottle instead. Since Haruto don't want to get drunk, he just ordered a glass for them.
"alcohol ?" guess Junkyu excitedly. Haruto nod as a reply. The spark on Junkyu's eyes make him giggled.
Back from restaurant. They can't even walk toward their car because of the heavy rain. "if I know, I would bring an umbrella for us" Haruto said. After standing there for a few minutes, Haruto turn to look at the younger "stay here and I will go to take my car"
Before he could run, Junkyu hold his wrist. Haruto look down at his wrist which was grabbed perfectly by the younger. He slowly raised his head up to meet with Junkyu's eyes. "let's run together"
Haruto couldn't protest when Junkyu already pulled him into the wet road and the dripping rain touch his skin. With their laughter, they play around with the rain instead. Lead by the younger. Just like a teenager playing in the rain splashing each other with puddle. It's been a long time Haruto didn't feel so alive like this.
The ripples of water growing bigger and bigger. The waters look like a ring of silver as the shining raindrops fall onto it's surface. Ignoring some people who passing them while holding an umbrella as they walk together to the nearest playground. There are no sign of stopping when the raindrops getting heavy along with lightning and thunderstorm which made both of them quickly looking for a shelter.
Haruto point at the payphone booth and they nodded together before they run toward the booth. A panting after running and playing around too much make them exhausted. The two grown up male together are too big for the small telephone booth. They are really close to each other with Junkyu grasped on Haruto's shirt, looking through at the soaked shirt.
The sudden tension between them making they forget everything what had happened around them. Haruto part his lips as he reach for Junkyu's chin, telling the younger to make an eye contact with him. The boring stare, the pale pink lips and the water flowing through Junkyu's skin is enough for Haruto to lose his mind.
"Did I drink too much Baijiu..." Haruto mumbled as he slowly lessen their gap. Junkyu hesitately close his eyes where his hands already being grabbed by the older, heart pounding so hard, a warm breath touch his lips.
Even before their lips could touch, a security guard knocked the door telling there was someone who want to use the telephone booth.
"These kids didn't know place" the security guard murmured.

Junkyu dry his hair with a small towel after he stepped out from the bathroom and meet with Haruto who already change into a bathrope "you're done ?"
"as you can see" Junkyu replied and open his arm showing his new pair of pajama where he bought it together with Jihoon yesterday. "cute" Haruto muttered then entered the bathroom leaving the younger who was blushing with the sudden praised.
What's wrong with him ? He hold his chest and denied it quickly. How can he fall in love with someone who way more older than him. Imagining the age gap between them make him feel horror. A 20 years old male with 198 years old male. Junkyu shook his head
Just because he's handsome and still look like he was in 20s doesn't mean you can fall for him
He blinked his eyes recalling back what happened in the telephone booth. They almost kiss. If only the security guard not interrupting them, Junkyu wonder what will happen between them afterward. A red flushed creep on his cheeks just by imagining himself kissing with the vampire male.

He flinched almost jump out from the bed when his phone ring at the desk. He quickly run and answer it without looking at the caller.
"You brat ! why you not calling us after moved to Seoul ??!!"
Junkyu close his eyes when he forgot to inform to his grandparents after he moves to Seoul. It's been a week he's here, no wonder the eldest worried.
"I'm sorry halmeoni.. I was too busy with school work and I forgot to call you"
"Are you really okay there ? how about blood ? do you want your haraboji to send you a box of animal's blood ?"

"I'm really sorry halmeoni... I'm busy with the deadline and so on make me forgot to call and don't worry about me here. Don't forget to drink you medicine and tell haraboji to eat his medicine too."
"hm alright. You too. Take care about yourself and remember don't harm human and not to get involve with anything. Araso ??"
