The walk from Jake's office to my car feels longer than it should be. I quickly duck into my car and pull the door closed as I take a moment to calm down.
When a beep on the dashboard notifies me that the guards know I'm in the car, I switch off my location that automatically turns on when the car is in use.
I haven't seen Lily in two days and my head is all around.
We have been good so far, except for the night we came back to the mainland.
Something was bothering her but she tried her level best to make it as minuscule as possible.
I may not have wanted to push her too far because she's already proven to me that whenever she is ready to talk about it she'll always find me and tell me everything.
It kills me to know there's something bothering her yet I can't do anything about it at the moment till she let's me in.
