When Alan returned to his place, he was greeted by a mess.
Thinking that Chuck was in a bad mood, Alan was just about to call out the mushrooms when he saw Chuck pop his head out of the corner of the room. When you see Alan, you start screaming!
"Somebody's been here! Kaka's characteristic doublespeak came through his ears, and the milk sound was remarkably rapid. The little hands kept moving up and down as if trying to tell Alan something, but they got stuck.
Alan rarely saw Chuck like this, so he stooped down and touched Chuck's mushroom umbrella. "Chuck, don't worry, speak slowly. What just happened?"
"Just now... There is a... Very impressive... People..." Chuck was Shouting in such a hurry that Alan could not make out what he was trying to say, after which there was almost a disordered vibration of energy.
Alan had no choice but to pick up Chuck like a child, touch the mushroom umbrella for a long time. Chuck's mood is slowly stabilized. At last, from Chuck's imprecise words, Alan had some idea of what was going on.
Alan's place is under attack! And the assailant seemed to have some martial skills, so adept with the longsword that Kaka had to use arcane art to knock him off.
It took Chuck ten minutes to explain this simple matter, with many miswords and problems, and Alan's confusion, interruption, and reconfirmation, before he finally understood it.
At first, Alan thought it was some thief, but the smooth sword-cut holes in the surrounding woodwork told him that the infiltrator was a very skilled swordsman and hardly a random thief. What's more, Kaka's arcane skills were so strong that he was ashamed of many things. A warrior could force Kaka into such a position. With this ability, how can he become a thief?
Could it be the Owu?
A thought crossed Alan's mind, and he quickly forced it out. Kaka's arcane skills were good but were nothing more than Alan's. If the opponent is really an Owu, he is not forced back, and Kaka may be captured! If there were an Arwu watching, his lone Arcane would die of a headache!
"Who could it be..." Alan held the mushroom in his arms and thought carefully.
Chuck saw that Alan looked in danger, pulling at his robes with both hands and making a little "click!" call. Alan had no time to placate. His brow furrowed. He could only think while mechanically stroking Chuck's umbrella, hoping that the little one in his arms would be reassured.
Alan felt that he was only a tiny man, and though he had a part in the explosion of the fungus, he did not. He was in the forest, after all, but he hadn't seen what Abel and his men had done. And what secrets does Alan know? One was a gem mine, but the Epians had blown it up; Another is the underground palace of the Bacterial and the possible secrets of Master Elvin, but no one knows, and no one cares.
The most important thing is! He didn't tell anyone he was a king of the Deco family! Even he and the Decos were on the same boat, just by accident! The family robes have been torn to shreds in the forest, and the insignia has never been seen!
In that case, who knows?
"Captain Nova..." The name jumped straight into Alan's mind, and he said to himself, Damn it, it's probably him!
Although the captain was supposed to be an informant for Senorbo's army, Alan was not worried that he had been attacked by the captain, whose ship had smuggled him out of Levitzk at a most awkward time. The captain brought Alan and the entire Deco family into Levitzk before that! The captain must have known that Alan had something to do with the explosion, and if he wanted to know what was going on, he could have tied him up on the boat and tortured him. The Arcane's little frame doesn't look like it could stand torture!
But the captain did not do so in the end, and even helped Alan escape here and helped him find the alchemist who handled the scepter material, that is proof enough that the captain will not trouble Alan later! Although Alan did not know why and could only blame his own country for its lack of interest, the Captain was undoubtedly not the mastermind, or his earlier help would have been unnecessary!
Alan was worried about another problem: Nova's unique identity!
The captain, at best, is an informant, at worst, a spy. The captain can't completely cover his tracks and will inevitably be targeted.
In this line of work, there are always some things in the dark and the open, and many times they are not exposed. They can not tell! And some
