Two sets of footsteps made their way throughtout the rock covered ground of a steep mountain side, knocking rocks down as they distrubed the status quo this area had enjoyed for a long while.
The two figures, one enormous and bulky, while the other was much thinner and appearing much less robust, suddenly stopped in front of a large cave entrance, despite it being sunny outside, with two suns blasting light down without stop, the cave was pitch black.
Light wasn't able to penetrate inside of its boundaries, echoing right out of it, howls and moans of abject pain kept on coming without stop, sometime increasing or decreasing but never ceasing.
The two figures, each wearing bags over their heads, stepped inside without hesitation, they both looked around the area, the inside was much like a typical cavern, a somewhat round tunnel leading deeper into the earth.
The larger bag head crouched down to get a better look down the passageway.
"So, we just need to get rid of all of the ghost thingies down there?" spoke the big one, unlike his smaller colleague, his bag wasn't neatly tucked in inside of the collar of his dark long coat, it rested onto his broad shoulders.
"We are here to empty and secure this place to accomodate for living commodities as well as research equipement before winter sets in and the mountains are covered deep snow, then the frost divisions will be taking over the security" stated the smaller bag head before taking a step forward, letting his arms wiggle along with his movement.
"Let's go" he added afterwards, the complaints coming from deeper in the cave getting suddenly louder and more aggressive.
"Sounds like they are trying to scare us away" remarked the larger of the two.
"Sounds like they are quite optimistic, wouldn't you agree, BH-O?" retorted the other to this.
"They sure are BH-I, they don't realise who it is that is sending" BH-O walked forward, not bothering to crouch down and simply demolishing the cave as he walked forward, carving his own path forward.
The wails got stronger and more piercing by the seconds, powerful enough to burst eardrums until it came to a sudden stop, leaving an eerie silence as the two goons of Theli overlooked the big room they were in.
The area was incredibly large, the ceiling stood a good thirty meters above the ground, it was twice as wide as that and it stretched into the distance, beyind what the two of them could see as it curved downwards after a while.
Common ores and crystals were spread out all around the place as well as the few remains of nondescript beings, the few bones left were crushed and in little numbers, no way to even complete half a skeleton of anything with what was left, save for an abject chimera.
Nonchalantly, BH-I snatched the bones away as they traveled beneath his coat and disappeared.
The pained voices came back in low whispers as the sound of crystal breaking and rocks grinding overtook them.
All over the place, humanoid shaped beings made from the materials found all around the room started forming, crawling out of their spots or simply falling down with an utter lack of grace.
Luckily for them, they had no bones to break, otherwise a few of them would have snapped their neck right at the end of their entrances.
Their way of entering the scene might have been horrifying to some, enough to freeze them in place but not to the two inhuman creations.
Each and every of the creatures that had dared appear with a physical form, had had their whole bodies shattered to little pieces in an instant, blood covered each of the spot one had come from, forming a trail coming from where BH-I had been standing.
BH-O had had no time to do anything as his brethen was just that much faster, they both stood still for a few moments, waiting to see if anything else would be willing to try its chances but none came forth.
It was obvious that some of them remained, the air their simple presence created was unmistakable, it would normally reinforce the dread of the intruders, indicating that there were still some of them all around but for the two that had come to specifically eradicate them, it was a boon to have a constant influx of information about their existence.
The two scary figures, who fitted the ambiance of the cave like charms, walked on some more, triggering the wandering souls that had backed off earlier to come out now, desperate to prevent them from going any further.
They came more numerous this time, enough that BH-I couldn't destroy their stone and crystal bodies in an instant before BH-O could jump in, taking a spike-like arm to the chest knowingly.
There was a moment of silence as the possessed crystal realised it had cracked its whole body due to the recoil of trying to strike the bulky bag head, BH-O didn't even bother to touch it and let it slowly crumbled to small shards as he moved on to the next one, slapping it to powder.
Even as the inhabitants of the cave came en masse without stop for close to an hour, visibly widening the area after using so much materials, no matter if it was stone, rock or other minerals, each was taken out with the same ease a wingless, legless, paralysed fly.
The two looked curiously at what the lost souls had been defending with deep commitment, the wails as well as the presence had completely vanished by now and even as BH-O grabbed the rough edged object, none came forward.
"Looks like a lich phylactery, either the lich is off somewhere else or had never actually linked itself to it" remarked BH-I, none of the two bag heads could tell which was the right one.
"Well, let's just bring it back to the Father-Lord, he'll know what to do with it" said BH-O but before they came back to their creator, they needed to do one more look around to make sure they had completely wiped the place of an threats, the researcher that would come here wasn't the Godfather himself nor was it one of his creations, they wouldn't be able to defend themselves.
