Chapter 192 - Yes

Iustus hadn't seen it coming at all and before long, he had his back against the wall as that person had one of their hands against his chest, keeping him in place.

"Hello Iustus, been a little while" spoke the man as he let go of the young hero.

"Ithelisemou? What are you doing here, most importantly, we need to hurry some maniac has been chasing me!" responded the hero, only to realise that the sound of scraping had stopped entirely, he looked into the hallway from which he had come from but all he saw was an empty space, without any trace of the masked man.

"Don't worry about this, why don't you follow me for a bit? This place is quite interesting" just like that, Theli went on ahead without a care in the world.

"Wait but I am serious, there is at least one, maybe two or three psychos in the area!" said Iustus as he started going after Theli, who was walking at a fast pace.

"I have already told you not to worry, none of them will be doing anything to you, more importantly, look at this" Ithelisemou pointed at a window in the wall, Iustus noticed that this hallway was quite a bit more wide than the last one, the walls looked the same and the pipes were still present but now that he paid attention, the pipes were quite pristine and seemed strangely silent.

He looked through the window Theli was pointing at and he saw quite the bizarre scene, something he wasn't expecting in a million years.

Lots of cylindrical, glass containers were stretching further than he could see, each containing skinless humanoid figures, some were incredibly large while some others were of a more regular size.

Iustus could see some masked figures walking all around, dressed in grey or white clothes, moving around methodically and without stop or any slowing down, they moved around pulling some of the beings in the containers filled with what appeared to be water.

The containers would empty themselves without Iustus being able to see where it was going, some of the figures moving around would grab the skinless beings inside and put them on some sort of metallic stretcher and push them out of the room, out of sight.

"What the hell is this? And... How many of those are there?" he let out, seeing the emptied containers be refilled with the transparent liquid and one of the figures just drop a small object inside.

He was horrified as he saw this little piece of nothing start to form into a full skeleton, all of this in the matter of a few seconds.

"I guess you could call this industrialisation, this is where the undeads of the PRO series are produced, can you believe this? Only a dozens are outside and people who have encountered them think they are rare, they haven't even seen the latest versions, I can tell you, they have no idea how lucky they are" Theli seemed quite proud about something as he talked about theses undeads.

"Those are undeads?"

"En effet, quite the specific kind, let us move on now" he turned and walked off as Iustus was still in shock at what he was seeing but before long, he followed after Ithelisemou.

They went by many of those windows, each allowing one to glance onto scenes that Iustus would't have ever imagined seeing.

Enormous rooms were beings with thousands of arms worked a very specific craft, other places were others beings like those undeads were produced in enormous amounts, Iustus saw how the black knights came to be and they were clearly inhumane.

They were nothing more than vaguely human shaped piles of flesh, from which grew their equipment, once this was done, they were seemingly ready to go and walked off, in another room Iustus also had had to opportunity of seeing, which was a room from which he couldn't see the walls of.

In there, various units of balck knights stretched into what appeared to be infinity to the young hero, he hadn't even known that there were other types of black knights apart from the ones with shields and sword and a few special ones, but here, there were clearly many types of them.

Each of the many units overlooked by what appeared to a very special leader, which stood at the front, in front of the few already special knights of those units.

He didn't even know what some of those were supposed to do and frankly, many of them wouldn't qualify as knights at all, black knight was just the name given to those that had been seen wandering the outside world, clearly, that name was accurate.

"They are DW Iustus, or Dark Warrior for long, naming isn't exactly my forte, so I keep things simple and just make initials" spoke Theli, reading Iustus mind without a care and confirming something for the young hero.

He hadn't dared to ask but it had quickly became obvious that he played a big part in all of those things and with this revelations, he also casually revealed that he had everything to do with the ones that had trapped and forced Iustus to play horrible games.

"Why so defensive? There is no point in that Iustus, of course BH-GM is one of my little creations, want to know what the initials mean? It's very easy..." he took a step away and turned his back to Iustus as he kept on talking, making a motion telling him to follow.

"...It just signifies 'Bag Head-Game Master' is thing is rules and games, quite different from his two BH fellows but still one of them, you've never met the other two did you? That must have just went right over your head, as everything seems to do" after so nonchalantly insulting him, Theli pointed at another window for Iustus to look at.

Considering Iustus already felt like he was in mortal danger when he had his powers when faced with Ithelisemou, he went ahead and did as instructed.

There, he saw an area of the DW army he couldn't see before, standing before all of them was a figure he could recognise, the so-called female black knight that had gotten him to Occult.

"I don't have many occasions to brag about my work, so let me tell you about UP-UH-1, I put a 1 at the end but she has totally blown away my expectations, I doubt there will ever be a UP-UH-2, although, I guess you could say Jason was also an attempt at this concept" Theli spoke as if Iustus had the knowledge necessary to understand who or what he was referring to.

"It stands for 'Unwanted Presence-Ultimate Heroine' my very own hero, you do know what an unwanted presence is, do you?" questioned the man without looking at Iustus.

"I-"

"Otherworlder, it is about the same thing, but there are unwanted that are more wanted than others, you get me? Naturally summoned are just better than willfully summoned, she's a natural and she had the fortune of being summoned right under my nose"

"I have even gotten her to train under Wrath for a while, I could have done it myself but I think it is important to allow her to develop her mind a bit more, the surgeries have left quite a toll on her brain after all, surhumans need to have minds of their own after all"

"Hold on, you work with a sin?" Iustus turned to the man.

"Well yes, of course I do, I work with everybody, I only take my own side as any reasonable person should, working for others without thinking about oneself is the greatest insult possible, how are you supposed to justify being able to care for others, understand others, if you can't even do these things for yourself?"

"These sort of things, should only be done when one either, reached the level of surhuman or is actively moving toward it, this is why you are such a feeble hero, Iustus"

"You have never broken any of your limits and you lack predispositions for the journey to becoming a surhuman, you were given a toolkit and haven't even learned to use it in the slightest, the other heroes may not be anywhere close to it but they at least have what it takes"

Iustus backed off against the window as Ithelisemou kept on walking closer to him, bending forward to look straight at him.

"This is why Gregory died so easily, he didn't work to get stronger for himself but for another, I might sound selfish but have you ever managed to do anything you attempted to do? I did my best to push you toward something but you simply fail to each time, you are a failure, so let me help you change that..."

"Sophie, that's UP-UH-1's original name, has become much stronger thanks to my intervention, you can too and you will, whether you agree or not, you already struggled with simple games made by my creations, you won't ever achieve anything otherwise"

Iustus tried to run away, however, he couldn't move away, it was as if he was stuck in a certain space and couldn't move out of it, no matter how much he ran.

"But first, would you mind dying to an insect?" asked Theli with a slight smile before everything went dark for the virtuous hero.

Theli looked down at the unconscious young man, Iustus had fooled many by giving the impression that he could be better than he was, he had even fooled Occult with an impressive spell but Ithelisemou knew, there was nothing left to observe from a live Iustus.
