With his focus forced to shift to a single of the knights, it didn't long until Jhorn was caught off guard, his bones remained too tough to be cut of broken at the moment but it didn't matter, the black knight forced him to his back as they pinned him to the ground, without much room to move, Jhorn couldn't break free, especially with how many of the knights put their whole weight into keeping him in the ground.
The black knight with the flaming sword put a foot on the champion's chest and without any words or even a slight hesitation he rose he blade engulfed with flames and prepared to stab Genocide Knight through the head.
Even with his regeneration that even the knight's flames couldn't slow down, he wouldn't come back from such an injury.
In the face of imminent death, Jhorn didn't close his eyes, letting see many helmed heads fly and the special black knight being chopped his half, in his descent toward the ground, the fiery knight still attempted to stab down at the champion but missed closely.
Only stabbing right through his cheek but missing the brain, the flames died out as the knight did too and all of the corpses disappeared in the same dark smoke as before, their coordination and perfect formation played against them as they all lined up their heads at the exact same height.
Allowing easy picking for the wind blade.
Jhorn pulled didn't have to pull the sword as it disappeared alongside its owner, letting his face heal up but in the end, with the black knight's gone, he felt his strength leave his body, close to passing out right here and there, he turned to the fight not so far from his position, where nearly everyone else was getting beaten to a pulp by a single woman that fought with nothing but her bare hands.
They were all severely beaten up and a few seemed unconscious, seemed like Idil had finished on her side since she was also fighting.
"You doing all right Jhorn?" asked Minimil, she seemed a bit burned, there were some charred holes in her clothes and hair hair were emmiting some slight smoke.
All in all, she looked in the same situation as Jhorn himself, completely out of juice.
He gave her thumbs up before collapsing back in stiff motion, she nodded her head and sitting down and trying to push the mana she had left in her to cast a last spell, she wasn't certain whether she should use that mana to attack the sin or to heal everyone.
The sin seemed completely unharmed, apart from some slight damage on her clothes, it looked as if she hadn't been hit at all, with wasn't true since she was taking some hits from time to time, she just recovered immediately, not that the damage she sustained seemed as severe as it looked.
As for the others, healing them wouldn't give them their stamina back, Minimil couldn't do that and it was what they needed the most, the sin hadn't been striking them to kill it seemed, it was a good thing, one death was enough.
Instead, she extended her senses through the wind, she noticed that Malamn was heading this way while that club loving heroine was going another way, they seemed to have dealt with their opponents one way or another, she doubted their help would change anything.
In another direction, those two boys she didn't know the names of seemed to be stuck in battles of their own, although she wasn't certain if that human-shaped mass of mana was that younger boy or not, he seemed to be getting completely destroyed by that dragon, being flung around by the physical and magical might of the dragon.
Explosions and debris could be seen appearing from time to time, each time being further than the last, as for the other one, he kept appearing and vanishing from her perception, she wasn't having hallucinations due to the lack of mana or her obscene body temperature, he was just exiting and entering existence as he wished while battling another lesser sin.
She didn't notice anyone else, even as someone put their hand on the top of her head, she noticed nothing as she fell unconscious without casting any last spell.
______________
Gregory had found exactly what he needed to be able to fight, something that somewhat patch up the hole in his stomach, even if the damage would be mostly left as it is, it would at least prevent his guts from flowing out as he jumped around.
Gregory took hold of the unfortunate frog that had just been sitting there, near its pond and bit into his head, pushing its eyes out of theur sockets and down his throat as blood flowed closely behind.
To activate the skill that allowed him to fight better, he had to bite into a small animal found into the wild, it wouldn't work if he kept one on his person or if it wasn't alive, so, as it should be, it was quite the potent ability.
Leaping from trunk to trunk like a wild beast, Greogry came out of his stealth for moment as he blade brushed against the armor of Oath Breaker, only leaving a light dent.
Noticing the speedy attack, the lesser sin didn't wait for him strike again as he activated his aura on full blast.
Oath Breaker had had time to play around with his ability and knightly physique, if he were to try that again, Greogry would be stopped right in his track but the instincts of a beast were strong and he knew not to try and get too close without care.
As strong as it was, Oath Breaker's abilities could be resisted just like any other.
It was easier said than done however and this wasn't Gregory's specialty at all, he was mostly stacked toward speed and evasion, still he kept on attacking just not by treading too close to the lesser sin so as to keep him from just running around.
Oath Breaker kept on making fakes of himself run around and also make fakes of various objects, making them move in awkward places and just making doubles of still things, such as trees burst out of the originals, creating a hellish obstacle parkour for Greogry to maneuver.
Seeing identical objects merge through one another as if it was all a buggy game was quite the nauseous experience and made keeping track of the original sin a pain, Gregory couldn't even be certain if he still had the right one.
Preparing to dash by the one he believed to be the real one, he thought to have had a good understanding of this lesser sin's power but his opponent had deeper knowledge of him after staying right on his face for so long.
Oath Breaker was a skilled impersonator, making him adept at understanding people, pinpointing their strength and weakness and helping him to notice the faintest of clues that could help him to play his part where he to wear their skin for a while.
As Gregory was about to rush by, the armored sin silhouette suddenly shifted, thinning all of a sudden, ample dark clothes replaced the old armor and Gregory froze up, unconsciously releasing his stealth and stopping dead in his track, allowing Oath Breaker to run up to him and punch right throught the stomach again.
Although the transformation lacked Lust's otherworldly charisma and beauty, it was a perfect representation of her heavenly looks, no sight was quite as harrowing as this one for Gregory.
The disguise melted off slowly as the knight came back into view while laughing madly.
He was about to start his little speech after throwing Greogry to the ground but his villainous monologue was interrupted when a mighty goedendag came crashing into the side of his helm, sending him sliding on the ground a distance away.
Patches of dirt duplicated and covered his still body before disappearing, Ilmna still struck against the spot where he had been laying and around but unfortunately, the sin hadn't just camouflaged into his surroundings.
She turned around but after not even a second, she turned back again, striking the ground again and cracking the soil deep and wide.
'Still nothing...' she thought disappointed while Oath Breaker did his best to stay completely silent and transformed into some dirt deep into the ground as his arms was completely mangled by the strike.
