Chapter 1 - Accident

(October 30, somewhere in Williamsville, New York, in a beautiful detached house)

There was a knock on the door, "Bri! sweetie! wake up!" said the deep voice. The bedroom door opens, and an elderly lady enters, demanding, "wake up! Don't you have to get ready and head to your flower studio? It's past 9 am and-"

"Wait What-?! how is it 9 a- AH!" The 24-year-old girl shrieks as she attempts to roll off the bed but ends up falling flat on her face. "ouch! my nose!!!" she groans in agony. While rubbing her nose, she checks her phone.

"But, Nana? it's just 6:30 am, so why did-" She paused, realizing that her grandma had made that up,

"-Wait. ...Nana! you always do this..." she whins at her grandma, who chuckles at her behavior and says, "Shh. now get ready and come downstairs for breakfast".

She eventually gets up from the floor and kisses her grandma's cheeks before entering the bathroom, giggling as her grandma scrunched her nose while muttering something about morning breath.

The girl is none other than the beautiful Briana Rose.

Briana's POV :

I have no idea why I am so happy today, but I simply am. It's not unlike any other day, yet I feel happy, excited and various other emotions crashing onto me all at once. Is it normal? ugh. whatever.

I wore a blue tank top with flared denim pants on and I tied my hair up. I head downstairs as soon as I finish getting ready to get my favorite morning lobster roll and fries. I bid my grandma's cheek before driving away with the packet of blueberries to eat on my way to my flower studio, which is 20mins away from my home.

I pop the berries into my mouth while humming songs and soon I reach close to a busy street. I park my car nearby and stroll towards my studio, spinning keys around my finger and waving to familiar people nearby.

"Morning, Miss Rooose!" I heard a familiar cute voice. Aiden, a young 6-year-old boy from across the street, rushes towards me with his friends, making me turn towards them with a bright smile.

"Morning, Mr.Evans. How's it going?" I attempted to respond in a rough voice.

"Miss Rose, I told you that's what people call my dad, not me!" he huffs, pouting his lips at me, as I look at him with amusement. I shrugged my shoulders and responded, "So did I tell you, I hate to be called Miss Rose."

He rubs the back of his head, muttering, "Okie Briana sis, sorry-" I was awed at his cute expression, "aw, it's fine, kid"

"-no sorry! Hahaha bye!" He cuts me off and they run away laughing as I fake a look of anger. I watched them as the corner of my lips turned upward.

After a while, I walk inside my studio and check if all of my flowers are alright. I sprinkle some water on the flowers while humming songs and continue working with a smile on my face. Not long, I received a client's request for a lavender field mixed flower bouquet that needed to be ready by the evening. As I look around, I find that the last few lavenders have been delivered to the previous customer and there are no more left. So, I rushed to my car with a plan to head over to my private flower garden which is 15 minutes away from my studio, to collect the lavender.

After a few minutes, I arrive at the signal, which fortunately turns green as the signal on the opposite side turns red. As I pass the signal, I am unaware that a car on the opposite side has broken the signal in a hurry and is speeding towards my car.

"OH SHIT!" As I noticed the car approaching at great speed, I panicked and turned my car the other way. Unfortunately, I was not so quick enough to escape from the way and, as a result,

Boom!
