The familiar voice reached her, it was her own young master.
Upon hearing that voice, Hassaka felt the panic in her heart dissipate, leaving behind only a profound sense of security.
Previously, when she was assisting her young master with processing the materials for Beacon Oil, she had said with a giggle that her young master was her God of Radiance.
But the young master had only smiled and shaken his head, saying he was not a god to anyone.
Yet now, Hassaka had a new perspective; she felt that Kael was like a deity, forgiving all her faults.
With this in mind, her eyes became a bit misty.
If possible, Hassaka too wished to offer her all, to try and embrace that god she so admired.
"Master Kael, you say you are not a god, but why is it that when I pray to you, I can hear your response?"
However, there was no time for Hassaka to ponder at the moment, as the situation was urgent.
